Berkeley Techraking saw some of the most fascinating ideas which if put to pieces would bring about a revolution in the world of journalism. This story is about the winner of the show and his idea. The winner Drone Hound, led by Reveal Senior Editor Andrew Donohue proposed a technology that would allow the drones to collect air samples from high polluted areas and transmit the data to mobile app. The app would notify the users of the effected community when the pollution level of that area reaches the notified level. It would be an effort to control the pollution by transmitting data over space and time.<br />

How drones changed the face of Journalism

<p><br><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">Nimrod Kamer, a journalist from the U.K., wanted to know what would happen if he asked Uber drivers to give him a 1-star rating. </span><a href="http://www.dailydot.com/business/uber-1-star-reviews/">He documented his findings on The Daily Dot.</a></br></p>
<p>The rating system is between drivers and riders of Uber; at the end of every ride, the passenger rates his driver and the driver rates his passenger.</p>
<p>You can rate between one and five stars, five being the best and one being the worst.</p>
<p>It's rumored that if you have a low score, <a href="http://www.dailydot.com/business/uber-1-star-reviews/">drivers will be slower to pick you up</a>, or may avoid accepting your request for a ride altogether. </p>
<p>Kamer wanted to have a 1-star average, so he begged drivers in London and New York City to give him a low rating, right in front of his face. A lot of drivers were remiss, he said, because they were afraid that would mean Kamer would give them a low rating in return.</p>
<p>An Uber driver with a rating below four stars runs the risk of losing his position with the company.</p>
<p>After convincing fifteen Uber drivers to give him a 1-star rating (he caught a few of these requests on camera, see below), Kamer tells Business Insider he's "<span>the first one to get a 1-star average, but it doesn't mean I'm a bad passenger, it just means I convinced fifteen drivers to give me a low rating."</span></p>

He spends his days traveling between those locations, visiting clients, fronting pitches, attending big industry events like the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, and with his wife and two young twins in New York.</p><p>And somehow in-between all of that, he finds time to update his Instagram account. With great frequency.</p><p>It's rare for such a high-powered executive to have such an active Instagram account: Sure many have Twitter or Facebook accounts that are heavily neutralized by corporate communications teams, but Instagram offers us a glimpse into the more personal, down-to-earth sides of Murray's life.</p><p>We met up with Murray at FCB's offices in London and asked why Instagram is so important to him. Given that he's a high-earning chief executive, who gets to visit opulent locations, like dining at The Ivy in London, I asked whether he tries to keep those photos to a minimum.</span></p><p>"I try not to [post those kinds of photos.] The only photo I've ever posted where any of my friends gave me that kind of feedback was when I traveled with the twins and I had six suitcases - 'That's a bit spoilt' [,they said.]," Murray told us.</p><h4>We think there might actually be eight cases and bags there.</h4><div><div></div></div><p><span style="color: #222222; line-height: 1.5em;">"Don't you have those friends on Facebook who photograph their First Class tickets? That's just really disgusting. I try not to do that. I use Instagram because I love photography. I don't want to do Twitter as I'm a frustrated writer. I've got a half-written book and I'd be like Woody Allen if I had a Twitter account, every time I try to write I have 85 balls of paper next to the table," he said.</span></p><div><div></div></div><p class="embed-spacer">We asked whether there was anything, from a professional point of view, that was strictly off-limits from Murray's Instagram account.</p><p>"I have to be careful not to photograph clients because I don't want them to think I have a favorite...and I don't want people to see our new business clients, so I try to keep that minimal.
