Actor <keyword id="6357861" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="ranbir-kapoor">Ranbir Kapoor</keyword> has tested positive for <keyword id="8763838" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="covid-19">Covid-19</keyword>. He is on medication and living in quarantine at home. Ranbir's mother <keyword id="3608" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Neetu-Kapoor">Neetu Kapoor</keyword> took to Instagram on Tuesday to share her son's health update. <br /><br />Sharing a photo of Ranbir, Neetu wrote: "Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions."<br /><br />Commenting on Neetu's post, fans and followers shared their wishes for Ranbir's speedy recovery. <br /><br />Ranbir's sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also took to her Instagram story to share a selfie with her ailing brother. <br /><br />Neetu Kapoor had contracted the coronavirus in December last year while shooting for the upcoming film "Jug Jugg Jeeyo" in Chandigarh. <br /><br />On the work front, Ranbir has lately been busy shooting for Ayan Mukerji's action fantasy film "Brahmastra" alongside rumoured girlfriend Alia Bhatt. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy. However, it is being speculated that shoot will be temporarily stalled with the lead actor contracting Covid-19.<br /><br />Ranbir's next release is "Shamshera" on June 25. Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor tests positive for COVID-19

Mumbai, Actors <keyword id="383666" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Varun-Dhawan">Varun Dhawan</keyword> and <keyword id="3608" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Neetu-Kapoor">Neetu Kapoor</keyword>, and director Raj Mehta, have tested Covid-19 positive. The stars as well as the filmmaker are part of the unit of the <keyword id="10379233" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="film-jug-jugg-jeeyo">film Jug Jugg Jeeyo</keyword>, which arrived in Chandigarh a few days ago for an outdoor stint.<br /><br />Shoot has been temporarily halted, as per a report in filmfare.com. The cast and crew had arrived in Chandigarh in the second week of November.<br /><br />The film's other two lead actors, Anil Kapoor and <keyword id="1788525" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Kiara-Advani">Kiara Advani</keyword>, have tested negative for the virus, informed celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani on his verified Instagram account on Friday afternoon. Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, director Raj Mehta test Covid positive in 'Jug Jugg Jeeyo' unit

Mumbai, May 5 () Neetu Kapoor on Tuesday thanked business magnate Mukesh Ambani and his family for being the "guardian angels" in her late husband, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor's fight against cancer.<p>Rishi Kapoor died at the age of 67 on April 30 at H N Reliance Hospital after a two-year-long battle with leukaemia. </p><p>Sharing a picture of herself with Rishi Kapoor, Ambani and his wife Nita, Neetu Kapoor expressed her gratitude in a post on Instagram.  </p><p>"For us, as a family, the last two years have been a long journey. There were good days, there were a couple of bad days too.. needless to say it was full of high emotion. But it's a journey we would not have been able to complete without the immeasurable love and support of the Ambani family," she wrote.</p><p>The actor said the Ambanis had gone above and beyond in every manner to care for her husband in the last seven months.</p><p>"From ensuring he was medically attended to, to making frequent, personal visits to the hospital to shower him with love and attention, to even holding our hand and comforting us when we were scared.</p><p>"You have been our guardian angels on this long and trying experience - what we feel for you can not be measured. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your selfless, unending support and attention," Neetu Kapoor thanked them on behalf of the Kapoor family.</p>On Sunday, she thanked the medical staff of the hospital. Alia Bhatt goes into quarantine after Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranbir Kapoor test positive for COVID-19

Mumbai, Jul 12 () Designer Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has slammed rumours that her mother Neetu Kapoor and brother, actor Ranbir Kapoor, have tested positive for COVID-19 and asked people to not spread misinformation. <p>Soon after megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 and were admitted to a city hospital on Saturday, rumours started to spread that even Neetu and the "Sanju" actor are infected with the novel coronavirus. </p><p>Dismissing the reports, Riddhima told , "Obviously not (true). Please stop spreading fake rumours. At least not at this time, would appreciate." </p><p>Social media was abuzz with a tweet which claimed the Bachchans, who are at Nanavati Hospital, got the virus after Amitabh's grandson, Agastya Nanda, attended a birthday party hosted by Riddhima. </p><p>The fashion designer also took to Instagram and called the claim baseless. </p><p>"Attention seeking? Least verify/clarify! We are fit. We are good! Stop spreading rumours! #lunatics," she wrote . </p><p>Amitabh and Abhishek on Saturday said that they had tested positive for COVID-19 and have been admitted to Nanavati hospital. </p><p>"I have tested COVID positive. Shifted to Hospital. Hospital informing authorities, family and staff undergone tests, results awaited," Amitabh, 77, posted on Twitter. </p><p>"All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested," he added. </p><p>Abhishek, 44, said both his father and he had mild symptoms and requested everybody to be calm and not panic. </p><p>Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you," Abhishek tweeted. </p><p>Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said the complete Bachchan clan, including veteran actor Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, have underwent swab test for COVID-19.</p>"Swab test have been taken of all the other family members, including Jaya ji and Aishwarya ji. 2.       Like rest of the Kapoor Khandaan, even Ranbir Kapoor is a foodie. His favourites include crab at Mahesh Lunch Home, the Teesri (clams) and Bombay Duck at Gajalee. He also enjoys home cooked bhindi, jungli mutton and paya.<br />
