He is on medication and living in quarantine at home. Ranbir's mother <keyword id="3608" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Neetu-Kapoor">Neetu Kapoor</keyword> took to Instagram on Tuesday to share her son's health update. Sharing a photo of Ranbir, Neetu wrote: "Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions." Commenting on Neetu's post, fans and followers shared their wishes for Ranbir's speedy recovery. Ranbir's sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also took to her Instagram story to share a selfie with her ailing brother. Neetu Kapoor had contracted the coronavirus in December last year while shooting for the upcoming film "Jug Jugg Jeeyo" in Chandigarh. On the work front, Ranbir has lately been busy shooting for Ayan Mukerji's action fantasy film "Brahmastra" alongside rumoured girlfriend Alia Bhatt. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy. However, it is being speculated that shoot will be temporarily stalled with the lead actor contracting Covid-19. Ranbir's next release is "Shamshera" on June 25. The Karan Malhotra film is an action drama co-starring Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor, and is produced by Yash Raj Films. Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor tests positive for COVID-19

Mumbai, Actors <keyword id="383666" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Varun-Dhawan">Varun Dhawan</keyword> and <keyword id="3608" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Neetu-Kapoor">Neetu Kapoor</keyword>, and director Raj Mehta, have tested Covid-19 positive. The stars as well as the filmmaker are part of the unit of the <keyword id="10379233" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="film-jug-jugg-jeeyo">film Jug Jugg Jeeyo</keyword>, which arrived in Chandigarh a few days ago for an outdoor stint. Shoot has been temporarily halted, as per a report in filmfare.com. The cast and crew had arrived in Chandigarh in the second week of November. The film's other two lead actors, Anil Kapoor and <keyword id="1788525" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Kiara-Advani">Kiara Advani</keyword>, have tested negative for the virus, informed celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani on his verified Instagram account on Friday afternoon. No other person in the unit is known to have tested Covid positive. All cast and crew members were tested for the virus, before shoot started in November. The film also features Maniesh Paul and YouTube sensation Prajakta Koli, who makes her Bollywood debut with the role. Mumbai, May 5 () Neetu Kapoor on Tuesday thanked business magnate Mukesh Ambani and his family for being the "guardian angels" in her late husband, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor's fight against cancer.Rishi Kapoor died at the age of 67 on April 30 at H N Reliance Hospital after a two-year-long battle with leukaemia. Sharing a picture of herself with Rishi Kapoor, Ambani and his wife Nita, Neetu Kapoor expressed her gratitude in a post on Instagram. "For us, as a family, the last two years have been a long journey. There were good days, there were a couple of bad days too.. needless to say it was full of high emotion. But it's a journey we would not have been able to complete without the immeasurable love and support of the Ambani family," she wrote.The actor said the Ambanis had gone above and beyond in every manner to care for her husband in the last seven months."From ensuring he was medically attended to, to making frequent, personal visits to the hospital to shower him with love and attention, to even holding our hand and comforting us when we were scared."You have been our guardian angels on this long and trying experience - what we feel for you can not be measured. Mumbai, Jul 12 () Designer Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has slammed rumours that her mother Neetu Kapoor and brother, actor Ranbir Kapoor, have tested positive for COVID-19 and asked people to not spread misinformation. Soon after megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 and were admitted to a city hospital on Saturday, rumours started to spread that even Neetu and the "Sanju" actor are infected with the novel coronavirus. Dismissing the reports, Riddhima told , "Obviously not (true). Please stop spreading fake rumours. At least not at this time, would appreciate." Social media was abuzz with a tweet which claimed the Bachchans, who are at Nanavati Hospital, got the virus after Amitabh's grandson, Agastya Nanda, attended a birthday party hosted by Riddhima. The fashion designer also took to Instagram and called the claim baseless. "Attention seeking? Least verify/clarify! We are fit. We are good! Stop spreading rumours! #lunatics," she wrote . Amitabh and Abhishek on Saturday said that they had tested positive for COVID-19 and have been admitted to Nanavati hospital. "I have tested COVID positive. Shifted to Hospital. Hospital informing authorities, family and staff undergone tests, results awaited," Amitabh, 77, posted on Twitter. "All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested," he added. Abhishek, 44, said both his father and he had mild symptoms and requested everybody to be calm and not panic. Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. I didn’t know that I could do it. I am loving the reactions my documentary and short film have received, but I am not really jotting down my plans. But radio was always part of the plan and I stopped acting after college. There were a few professional Marathi shows that I was a part of, it was pretty serious. However, I was hell-bent on becoming a radio jockey so I didn’t think twice before letting that go. After Khayali Pulao, Mismatched and now, Jug Jug Jeeyo, I feel I have tasted blood and I cannot stop. So, I definitely want to act more. I love being on set and it is Dharma! I used to get very scared before and now I have realised that I only come out of it stronger.” Prajakta has seen lots of ups and downs in her career but she never gave up. Rishi Kapoor — the romance king of the 80's and Bollywood's beloved 'Chintu' — passes away at 67

Growing up as a star kid surrounded by parents who’re not only famous Bollywood actors, but are also worshipped by people nationwide can be as daunting a experience as it can be extraordinary. 
 
Even if one manages to exclude the hundreds cameras persistent to capture every moment of the living as a Bollywood actor’s kid, the unsaid added pressure from every side to take a liking to acting or grow up to belong in Bollywood certainly cannot be neglected. 
 
While there are so many actors who’ve followed the footsteps of their parents and entered the glitzy and glamorous world of Bollywood (think <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=ranbir+kapoor">Ranbir Kapoor</a> and Abhishek Bachchan) and managed to successfully carve their own position, there exists a handful of star kids who’ve said no to the big bad world of Bollywood and made a name for themselves in other professions.

Ridhima Kapoor Sahni: Badtameez Dil actor Ranbir Kapoor’s elder sister Ridhima Kapoor hardly makes an appearance in front of the papparazis, and when she does, it’s mostly with parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, dressed to kill. Far from the maddening crowd of Mumbai, Riddhima resides in Delhi with her husband and is a successful interior and fashion designer.
