Indian Prime Minister <keyword id="969998" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Narenda-Modi">Narenda Modi</keyword> is on a two-nation political tour that started from Vietnam and now <keyword id="6354642" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Modi">Modi</keyword> is in Chinese city, <keyword id="232713" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Hangzhou">Hangzhou</keyword> for the crucial G20 summit. 
 
The recent past has seen a lot of tiffs between the Indian and Chinese government, be it over China's opposition to India's NSG application, or the topic of expulsion of Chinese journalists from India and how it was reported in the Chinese media. 
 
However, since there is always some scope for a healthy discussion, here are five points that PM Modi would be pushing, as per a TNN report: 
 
Pakistan 
 
The recent unrest in Kashmir saw Pakistan openly supporting Kashmiri terrorists and separatists against India, after which, India questioned protests in PoK over rigged elections, stating that PoK PoK belonged to India. 
 
It was then that PM Modi had warned Pakistan that India would raise its human rights violations in Balochistan in case Islamabad continues to support terrorist activities in Kashmir. 
 
Since China is a close ally to Pakistan and is seen supporting it, there are high chances that Pakistan would be a topic of discussion between India and China. 
 
China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) 
 
India has been putting a lot of pressure on Islamabad, and this could prove to be harmful to the Chinese economy. CPEC is a $46-billion project, using which China wants to gain direct access to the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean Region. It has also invested heavily in the Gwadar Port in Balochistan for this very purpose. 
 
A critical part of this corridor runs through PoK, and now that India has decided to reinforce its legal claims on PoK, Beijing is bound to be upset. Even though the Chinese government has steered away from commenting on this, some sources say that Chinese think tanks have suggested China-Pakistan taking a joint military action against India so that the CPEC project is unhindered. 
 
South China Sea dispute 
 
This territorial dispute has made China stand against several nations, and this is benefitting India. 
 
After an international tribunal ruled in favour of India, that Beijing's claims in the South China Sea were not justified, India had issued a statement in which it made a direct appeal to all nations involved in the conflict to "exercise self-restraint," so that the dispute is not complicated further. 
 
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi was on his visit to India recently, when he said that it was up to New Delhi to support Beijing on the South China Sea dispute or not, also making sure that New Delhi does not raise the South China Sea issue anywhere. 
 
India's budding friendships with South East Asia countries 
 
Vietnam is also involved in the South China Sea dispute, and Modi will be visiting it before China, where he would be signing a contract for the supply of four patrol vessels to the Vietnamese military. He could also discuss defence cooperation with Vietnam, much to China's chagrin. 
 
India is increasingly getting friendly with other countries in the South East Asia, and China will most likely see these emerging friendships as a not-entirely-friendly alliance. 
 
India's infrastructure development along China border 
 
Till almost a decade back, India had not built any infrastructure alongside Chinese border, making sure that Chinese be able to advance slowly in case Beijing invades India. However, China built up high-quality roads and rail links along the 3500-km border with India. 
 
Now that India is also looking to push infrastructure projects there, China has said that these efforts would only escalate tensions between the two countries. It was only recently that Beijing criticized India's decision to deploy the advanced, supersonic cruise missile system BrahMos on its border with China, claiming that this deployment was "the opposite" of peace and stability. This too could be a topic of discussion, given that China on its part has done heavy military deployment in that area.

His is a perfect rags-to-riches story. Only, the riches here mean the highest seat of political power corridors – the seat that seals the fate of billions of Indians. When <keyword id="2257489" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="PM-Narendra-Modi">PM Narendra Modi</keyword> started on his brand-building exercise, there was hardly any state in the country – apart from Gujarat – that was a huge fan of this bearded-bespectacled man. The change didn’t come overnight either. It happened over years through hard work, strategic planning and positioning along with consistent PR efforts that beamed the image of the man. 
 Today, there is hardly any youth who does not admire or adore him, or even vehemently criticise Narenda Modi for his persona and works. But, what is more important is whether someone likes him or not, they just can’t ignore him. Even to oppose his decisions and stances, one has to be well-informed about his persona and preferences. Closed to change would necessarily mean missing all that lies in the future. Modi is a big dreamer who looks at the future with a lot of optimism. Hence, staying open about the future is essential. Old has its value too, but the new holds promise. We owe it to ourselves, if none else! 
 
Time and perseverance 
Dreaming isn’t a crime. But, not working towards realising your dream is indeed a crime. With his humble background and basic existence for a long time, Modi did show the country that a tea seller can surely keep the senses of the country stimulated in anticipation of better times. A small company without dreams will stay just that. A miniscule idea with enough support and hard work put in by members to grow, has sky for its limit. 
 
Counter the situation; don’t quell it 
Staying a mute spectator when someone has the chance to walk all over you is only a step towards finishing yourself. Don’t allow situations to get out of hand that can seriously damage your future. Speak up, even if you feel weak. You never know who’s listening! 
 
Know your customer 
Empathising with your customer/voter beyond the call of duty only ensures the bond is there to stay. Else, a touch-and-go approach will remain just that. If you need to have a customer who is going to speak ‘for you’, your reputation in the market is just getting rock solid. 
 
Time is premium 
Whether it is being open to change, or being open to ideas that would usher change, time assumes a lot of importance. Sometimes, tough decisions like sending out underperformers may be inhuman, but inevitable. When faced with such challenge, a man turns spiritual. Don’t be. Just focus on getting the job done within time, and leave the rest to fate. Sometimes, hard times have also brought some great moments to people. 
 
Reduce the clutter 
Dead wood can’t stay. Period. Reason, time is what carries the premium value and deadwoods can only consume time without contributing much. If you have the power to do away with the clutter, do it. Else, just have all the creative minds focus on the result, and you can then negotiate on your terms once you have reached the goal. 
 
Stay undeterred 
Single-minded focus is the need of the hour. Bracing self to face bitter criticisms for larger good is always better than hearing sugar-coating words that won’t help you introspect.

Cook will be meeting with Prime Minster Narenda Modi during his trip, <a href="http://in.reuters.com/article/apple-india-timcook-idINKCN0Y71Q2">Reuters reported</a>.Apple's looking for even more growth in India, which will help offset some of the slowing growth from China, another massive market. There's a lot of challenges, including both distribution and brand awareness.Fewer stores carry iPhones in India, partially because carriers don't sell smartphones. In addition, some studies have found that nearly half of Indians <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/apple-brand-awareness-in-india-under-50-2016-4">aren't aware of Apple</a> as a brand. Factor Daily reports that Apple plans to open three Apple Stores in India over the next 18 months. This follows an April report from <a href="http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/tech/tech-news/Apple-may-get-to-open-stores-without-30-sourcing-norm/articleshow/51934783.cms">The Times of India </a>that said the government was poised to waive an Indian regulation about stores sourcing 30% of the goods from the country, which would pave the way for the country's first Apple Stores.Apple declined to comment.There have been a few speed bumps for Apple in recent weeks. India reportedly declined to act on an application by Apple to import and refurbish older iPhones for sale in the country, <a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-05-03/india-thwarts-apple-s-plan-to-sell-cheaper-refurbished-iphones">according to Bloomberg</a>. Several smartphone companies including Samsung and Karbonn banded together to <a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-04-03/apple-s-push-to-flood-india-with-used-iphones-ignites-backlash">oppose Apple's application</a>. The application to sell refurbished phones is reportedly one of the discussions Modi and Cook are planning on having.There's also a growing group of people in the technology industry that are wary of American companies' attempts to establish themselves in the Indian market. One example is the group that came together to oppose <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/may/12/facebook-free-basics-india-zuckerberg">Facebook's Free Basics</a>. Stephen Hawking had a 'sense of humor as vast as the universe': unique tributes flood in for esteemed scientist

Described as a "news personality" on his Facebook page, 27-year-old Arun P. Vijayakumar said he had been selected to join the US space agency after it relaxed its citizenship conditions, Indian English language paper the Deccan Chronicle <a href="outh%20Indian%20English%20language%20paper%20the%20Deccan%20Chronicle" target="_blank">reports</a>.
His claims had been excitedly picked up across the country, with Indian newspaper The Hindu <a href="http://www.thehindu.com/news/cities/Thiruvananthapuram/in-search-of-extraterrestrial-life/article3914136.ece" target="_blank">running a full interview</a>.
In it Vijayakumar, who hails from the southern region of Kerala, said how he was "thrilled at being accepted as a research scientist."
He even went as far as talking about studying at prestigious MIT - and was off to explore "extraterrestrial elements with the use of remote sensing" with his revered spacial expertise. 
Vijayakumar told the press he had come into contact with US organizations while studying at local engineering college the Bhopal National Institute of Technology.
But his fabrications were <a href="http://www.deccanchronicle.com/141028/nation-crime/article/nasa-fraudster-unties-bundle-lies-dc" target="_blank">outed this week</a>, with the Deccan Chronicle saying he had been "proved to be an imposter" and revealing all.
It said the man untied a "bundle of lies" for the news team, having "fooled everyone for some time by claiming to be closely associated with the US space agency."
Manorama Online, based in Kerala, <a href="http://english.manoramaonline.com/news/kerala/arun-not-nasa-scientist-facebook-mit.html" target="_blank">reacted to the findings</a> - and said he was only discovered, amazingly, when Indian Prime Minister Narenda Modi took interest and his fame really took off. 
It explains Vijayakumar was then caught by a Facebook Organization known as the "Netizen Police," run by top officials and which investigates online fraud.

Market remains quite resilient to Geopolitical factors, as well as a surprisingly hawkish Fed last week as Hilsenrath opines on lower rates for longer despite economic and employment improvements. US Futures are marked 20bp higher, and remain within 1% of all-time highs. Markets are red across the board in Europe in average volume, as Germany's Manufacturing Data comes in light, knocking the € to session lows. EU Fins are off 1%, and the DAX is down 70bp - Month to date the DAX has underperformed the S&amp;P by almost 5% as investors have run from markets tight to the Ukraine situation. We are seeing a slight rally in Russian Equities, but Ukraine's FX is taking out 2014 lows as the G7 gathers in the Netherlands to discuss the conflict. We had strong markets in Asia, as China's latest PMI miss sparks dovish hopes - Shanghai gained 1%, but Japan gained almost 2% in heavy volume as the Yen got hit on risk-taking. Aussie's market closed green, as China hopes buoyed the Miners - and India's Sensex hits new Peaks as investors continued to bet on economic revival if Opposition leader Narenda Modi is elected to office.
The US 10YY is higher on the session, but remains just under last week's peaks and the 100dma. The DXY is approaching 1M highs, making gains against € and Yen - causing a headwind for commodities. Many eyes are on Copper off very small despite the Chinese PMI Miss - it is barely holding above multi-year lows. Haven metals are under pressre, with Gold testing 1M lows, and Silver breaking multiple MAs to the downside. WTI is shrugging off the stronger $, and gaining back towards a $100 test as we watch for impact from the closed shipping channel outside of Houston. Brent is flat despite continued angst in Ukraine - and energy investors will focus on headlines from the Howard Weil Energy conference today. We do have a continued bid in the Agriculture complex, with Corn and Wheat taking on over 1% as Ukraine supply concerns mount. Today we will be headline trading off G7 comments - and we will see the Chicago Fed Nat Activity Index at 8:30, Fed's Stein Speaks at 9, US Manufacturing PMI at 9:45, and the week's smallest POMO operation at 11.
