New Delhi, Mar 27 () In a shareholding rejig at Reliance Industries, Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani, Nita Mukesh Ambani, Isha M Ambani, Akash M Ambani and Anant Mukesh Ambani along with one of the firm's promoters bought shares worth over Rs 9,145 through open market transactions on Friday. As per the block deal data on the BSE, Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani picked up 2,68,308 shares, Nita Mukesh Ambani 7,03,708 shares, Isha M Ambani 7,71,220 shares and Akash M Ambani 7,73,620 shares of the firm at an average price of Rs 1,077 apiece, while Anant Mukesh Ambani bought 73,00,000 shares at a price of Rs 1,056 per scrip. Besides, Reliance Industries Ltd's (RIL) promoter, Tattvam Enterprises LLP, purchased 7,67,35,388 shares at Rs 1,056 apiece. The total deal value for the shares purchased by the promoters of RIL stood at Rs 91,45,20,23,640. According to separate transactions, another promoter of the company, Devarshi Commercials LLP, offloaded a total of 8,65,52,244 shares for over Rs 9,145 crore. The shareholding data for December 2019 shows that Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani held 0.12 per cent stake in the firm, Nita Mukesh Ambani, Isha M Ambani and Akash M Ambani held 0.11 per cent stake each while Anant Mukesh Ambani held 2 lakh shares of the firm. Tattvam Enterprises LLP held 6.97 per cent stake in the firm, while Devarshi Commercials LLP held 11.48 per cent of the total shareholding of the firm. Prior to this, Devarshi Commercials LLP on Wednesday had offloaded shares worth over Rs 11,000 crore. The shares sold by Devarshi were picked up by another promoter entity of Reliance Industries, Samarjit Enterprises LLP, at the same price. The scrip jumped 4.34% to Rs 956.95 on the BSE. On the NSE, it gained 4.36 per cent to Rs 957.75. RIL shares had dropped 17.14 per cent till Thursday in fourth consecutive session of fall. Billionaire Mukesh Ambani, his wife, and three children have marginally raised their personal shareholding in Reliance Industries Ltd by acquiring some shares of another promoter group entity. Overall, the promoter group shareholding in the oil-to-telecom conglomerate remains unchanged at 47.45 per cent, the company said in a regulatory filing. Mukesh Ambani, who personally held 72.31 lakh shares or 0.11 per cent of RIL, raised his holding to 75 lakh or 0.12 per cent. His wife, Nita too raised shareholding to 75 lakh from 67.96 lakh. Twins Akash and Isha who held about 67.2 lakh shares, too have raised their holding to 75 lakh. Nearly half of all stocks on these indices are in red but heavyweight Reliance alone has managed to keep mood afloat. Jio's competitors, Airtel and Vodafone Idea, are already feeling the pressure with their stocks taking a dip when the markets opened today morning. But both Airtel and Vodafone Idea have more to fear than just Jio Fibre. The Aramco energy Jio's mobile phone services has about 340 million subscribers as of now. Ambani is targeting to take this number to over 500 million over the next few months. That would mean Jio will remain an aggressive player in the market and that's bad news for other players like Airtel and Vodafone Idea. Given that RIL is getting additional cash from Aramco and BP, and if it becomes a zero net debt company by March 2021, the company of its size and scale will only have more money to muscle out other players with its aggressive pricing. Mukesh Ambani is now the fifth richest person in the world, according to Forbes

New Delhi, Mar 19 () Billionaire Mukesh Ambani, his wife, and three children have marginally raised their personal shareholding in Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) by acquiring some shares of another promoter group entity. Overall, the promoter group shareholding in the oil-to-telecom conglomerate remains unchanged at 47.45 per cent, the company said in a regulatory filing.Devarshi Commercials LLP, a promoter group company, sold down its shareholding to Ambani family and other promoter group firms, Tattvam Enterprises LLP and Samarjit Enterprises LLP. Post the transaction, Devarshi Commercials LLP will hold 8.01 per cent stake, down from 11.21 per cent.Mukesh Ambani, who personally held 72.31 lakh shares or 0.11 per cent of RIL, raised his holding to 75 lakh or 0.12 per cent.His wife, Nita too raised shareholding to 75 lakh from 67.96 lakh. Twins Akash and Isha who held about 67.2 lakh shares, too have raised their holding to 75 lakh.Youngest of the three siblings, Anant, who had only 2 lakh shares in RIL, will raise his holding to 75 lakh. This is the first time that Mukesh Ambani, his wife, and three children will hold an equal number of shares of RIL. Previously, Mukesh held the highest, followed by wife Nita, son Akash, and daughter Isha. Anant had the least number of shares in the company. According to the filing, Tattvam Enterprises will raise shareholding to 8.01 per cent from 6.81 per cent while Samarjit Enterprises would see interest rising to 1.83 per cent from just 200 shares. "The proposed transfers are only amongst the existing persons belonging to promoter and promoter group," the filing said adding the transaction was through an inter-se transfer of shares among the promoters and promoter group firms. No reason for the transfer of shares was given. Devarshi Commercials LLP was the single biggest shareholder among the promoter group firms. Now, Srichakra Commercials LLP will be biggest shareholder with 11.17 per cent stake. ANZ ANZ ANUANU

Mukesh Ambani, wife, children marginally raise shares in Reliance

<keyword id="6355199" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Reliance-Industries">Reliance Industries</keyword>, India's largest private sector enterprise, plans to raise up to Rs 10,000 crore in debt this fiscal to partially fund its $26 billion investment plan. 

	Mukesh Ambani-led RIL has scheduled an annual general meeting (AGM) of its shareholders to vote on the issue on June 18.
 

	In order to augment long-term resources for financing, RIL may offer or invite subscription for secured/unsecured redeemable debentures, in one or more series, on private placement, redeemable at par, the company said in its annual report for 2013-14.
 India's biggest company will build new <keyword id="133938" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="petrochemical-plants">petrochemical plants</keyword> to boost the slowing oil and natural gas production. RIL is also constructing a plant that will turn <keyword id="84980" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="petroleum">petroleum</keyword> coke into synthetic gas, which will be used at the oil refineries to lower the cost. It also plans to open more retail stores and start a high speed broadband service. The company is implementing several projects, both in the manufacturing domain and the services sector, to continue the tradition of creating significant shareholders value, RIL chairman and managing director <keyword id="3820" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Mukesh-Ambani">Mukesh Ambani</keyword> said in the annual report.
