The In 2b comes in two variants with up to 6GB RAM and 256GB storage, a 5,000mAh battery and near-stock Android OS. The company also made its entry into the TWS segment with two new affordable earbuds — AirFunk 1 Pro and AirFunk 1. Micromax In 2b starts at ₹7,999 for the base model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It also comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, and this variant is priced at ₹8,999. The smartphone will go on sale for the first time on July 30 at 12 noon via Flipkart and the official Micromax website. The wireless earbuds are claimed to offer a total playtime of 7 hours and 32 hours with the charging case. The TWS has a USB Type-C port and IP44 for water resistance. It comes in blue, white, black, red and yellow colour options. The TWS also supports touch controls for playback functions and launching a voice assistant. The AirFunk 1 TWS is the more affordable model in the series with a price tag of ₹1,299. Its highlight is this voice changer mode wherein you can switch between male and female voices. The TWS offers a 3D surround sound experience. It is equipped with 9mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.0 and a USB Type-C port. Like the AirFunk 1 Pro, this one too is IP44-rated. It is said to last for 5 hours on a single charge, and 15 hours with the charging case. This one too has multiple colour options of black, blue, yellow, white and purple. Micromax launched entry-level In 2b smartphone alongside new AirFunk 1 Pro and AirFunk 1 TWS earbuds

With the resolve to take on Chinese giants in the India smartphone market, <keyword id="71696" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Micromax">Micromax</keyword> on Tuesday launched its first smartphones under the "in mobiles" brand, IN Note 1 in the mid-range and a budget phone IN 1b. <keyword id="10212595" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="micromax-in-note-1">Micromax In Note 1</keyword> is priced at ₹10,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant and ₹12,499 for the 4GB+128GB model while the IN 1b costs ₹6,999 for the 2GB+32GB and ₹7,999 for the 4GB+64GB storage variant. "We have received an overwhelming response from customers for the 'in' brand. We are positive that with the new range of smartphones, we will continue to garner the love and support of our customers," Rahul Sharma, Co-Founder, Micromax India, said in a statement. Registration for both the smartphones will begin from November 3 onwards on the company's website and on Flipkart. The phones IN Note 1 and IN 1b will go on sale from November 24 and November 26, respectively, Micromax said, adding that this will be followed by availability through retail channels across the country. The company said that the phones will get "guaranteed upgrades" for at least two years. Micromax In Note 1 features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display and a hole-punch design. Under the hood, the phone has an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM and with up to 128GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card. The smartphone comes with a quad rear camera setup that houses a 48MP primary sensor, along with a 5MP secondary sensor. There are also two 2MP sensors for macro shots and depth sensing. The camera setup is paired with a LED flash and is powered by artificial intelligence (AI) backed features, including night vision support. For selfies, the device houses a 16MP camera sensor at the front, with a 78-degree wide-angle lens. Micromax announces IN Note 1 and IN 1B smartphones starting at ₹6,999

In a bid to drive data usage in India, domestic handset manufacturer <keyword id="71696" type="COMPANY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Micromax">Micromax</keyword> on Tuesday said it has collaborated with state-run telecom firm <keyword id="30351" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="BSNL">BSNL</keyword> to offer free Internet access on select devices in the country. 
 
As per the partnership, BSNL will bundle free data usage of up to 2GB per quarter for 12 months on smartphones, free voice calls (on net) on feature phones and other freebies on purchase of Micromax tablet and data cards. 
 
This interesting offer will be available on six Micromax devices -- X070, X088 (feature phones), P410i (tablet), MMX377G (datacard), A37 and A37B (smartphones). 
 According to Micromax CEO <keyword id="127875" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Vineet-Taneja">Vineet Taneja</keyword>, "We are delighted to partner with BSNL, as this collaboration will be an excellent unification of BSNL's offerings and Micromax's design capability thus enabling millions of Indian consumers to enjoy seamless connectivity through data usage, affordable call rates and other VAS services." 
 
The partnership will further provide a major boost to better connectivity and Internet adoption as BSNL's pan-India network coupled with our devices, backed by a strong channel and retail presence which will take these offerings across length and breadth of the country, he said. 
"The association will create immense opportunities for customers by offering them high speed 3G data. BSNL has already provided 3G coverage in more than 2,300 cities and towns of India and is committed to provide 3G coverage to additional towns," said AN Rai, chairman and managing director of BSNL.
