However, the hardy <keyword id="1994915" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Mi-17-V5">Mi 17 V5</keyword> will continue to rule the Indian skies as 48 of the choppers are likely to be procured under a repeat order. The new choppers, which will serve in terrains ranging from the desert to high-altitude locations along the China and Pakistan border, will be added to the IAF fleet of <keyword id="2959450" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="139-Mi-17-V5s">139 Mi 17 V5s</keyword> that form the backbone of the IAF transport operations. 

	According to sources, the IAF recently moved the plan that includes maintenance facilities for choppers as well as an offset obligation of 30%. The operationally proven choppers are much-needed replacements for the older Mi 8 transporters that have reached the end of their service life.

These are the top chinese mobile companies in India

The Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi is celebrating its first anniversary in India and as expected they are doing it by launching a new variant of their made in India smartphone - Mi 4i. Starting today, the larger capacity 32GB variant of this device is also available. 
 
For the past couple of days, Xiaomi had been teasing the launch of this variant on the social media. And you might be aware that the Chinese smartphone company has launched Mi 4i in April. But at the time of launch, the device only had 16GB internal storage with no microSD card slot. 
 
Apart from the storage capacity, all rest of the features of Mi 4i will remain the same. It will be equipped with a 5-inch full HD (1920x1080 pixels) IPS OGS display. The smartphone will have a 2nd generation 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core (1.1GHz quad-core + 1.7GHz quad-core) 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM. 
 
Taking pictures with the phone will be enjoyable as it will be equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel selfie camera. The phone will possess a 3,120mAh battery with quick charge support. 
 
Connectivity options include, dual-SIM card slots with both supporting LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS, and on the software front it runs on Android Lollipop-based MIUI 6. 
 
As part of these celebrations, Xiaomi is also looking at launching a few exciting offers. Flipkart is already offering some exchange schemes for the Xiaomi devices. The Xiaomi Redmi 2 is available for Rs 3,999 with exchange (usual price is Rs 5,999). The Mi 4i 16GB variant is for Rs 7,999 with exchange as opposed to Rs 12,999. Also their flagship smartphone Mi 4 is going for Rs 9,999 in exchange, while otherwise it is for Rs 14,999.

Xiaomi gets the 32GB variant of Mi 4i in India

Mi 4 comes in a 5-inch form factor equipped with Full-HD resolution display combined with Corning one-glass solution (OGS). Under the hood, it packs a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage running on MiUi 6 version. The phone weighs 149 grams and is just 8.9 mm thick, which makes it compact and light to carry around.

The phone comes fitted with a 13MP rear snapper and 8MP shooter on the front. It comes loaded with a 3080mAh Li-Po battery that can be charged up to 60% in less than 45 minutes (we found it to be true). On the connectivity front, Mi4 is a single-SIM device offering 2G/3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS among others. 
 
It isn't surprising to see Xiaomi cut down the price for Mi 4 in the country. Their quick moves to first; make it available across offline stores, then ditching its exclusive Flipkart deal to sell via Snapdeal and <keyword id="18635" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Amazon">Amazon</keyword> as well clearly highlighted their wrong approach with the product in India. But now with its price and varied availability options, Mi 4 has somewhat taken over from OnePlus One.
