The previous world record was set in 1999 during the FIFA women’s soccer final in California with 90,185 attendees. Given the demand anticipated for the World Cups, the ICC has appointed five Official Ticketing Agents and two sub-agents, including Bharata Army, Gainwell Sports, Fanatic Sports, Sports Konnect, Cutting Edge, PickYourTrail, and Medallin Sports, to sell cricket packages in India. How to find a troll on Twitter Monakhov’s idea is that trolls have a limited number of messages to convey but have to do so multiple times while ensuring there’s adequate diversity of words and topics to fool readers. He used a library of tweets by Russian trolls and genuine tweets from US congress members to show distinctive patterns that emerge from the ones tweeted by trolls. The pairing of words is also different as compared to those in genuine tweets. When Monakhov tested his algorithm using these patterns, he found that only 50 tweets were needed to detect the difference between tweets from people and those from trolls. A new hybrid method to combat trolls online could solve the criticism Twitter is facing on account of its latest features impeding freedom of speech by suppressing unpopular opinions. Nonetheless, it’s going to be a while before this algorithm can be deployed on a large scale. Further research is required to determine whether it can accurately distinguish troll tweets from other types of messages that are not posted by public figures.  Following the India Test series, Australia will play England and India in an one-day tri-series from January 16-February 1 ahead of the World Cup, which is staged in Australia and <keyword id="22501" type="COUNTRY" weightage="60" keywordseo="New-Zealand">New Zealand</keyword> and begins on February 14. 
 
"The 2014-15 schedule looks very different to previous summers due in large part to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 that we are co-hosting with New Zealand for the first time in 23 years," Cricket Australia chief James Sutherland said. 
 Reacting to the schedule, ECB chief David Collier released a statement where he said, "Following our seven-match ODI series in <keyword id="6355572" type="COUNTRY" weightage="40" keywordseo="Sri-Lanka">Sri Lanka</keyword> before Christmas, this tour will provide further excellent preparation for the England team prior to the ICC Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. We look forward to an exciting and competitive series against two of the world's best teams in this format of the game and thank both Cricket Australia and <keyword id="6354756" type="CITY" weightage="40" keywordseo="BCCI">BCCI</keyword> (Board of Control for Cricket in India) for their support in agreeing this schedule." 
 
There was some controversy regarding the schedule when it was decided that the annual Australia Day match, normally played in Adelaide, was shifted to Sydney this summer. However, Sutherland said that the packed nature of the schedule and the fact that only four Tests were been played this summer compared to five or six meant some logistical challenges in the programmers. 
 
The Adelaide Oval has been redeveloped and Sutherland said that there are exciting times ahead for the venue. "The new ground was partly completed last summer and we saw the potential of it this winter with football underway, and we’re very excited about the prospects of holding international cricket at the Adelaide Oval. I am sure fans from Adelaide but also, as traditionally, fans from all over the country will flock to what will be a big summer of cricket there." 
 
The other change in the schedule will see Perth miss out on a Test match due to concerns regarding its ground facilities and size. Last September, speaking to ESPNcricinfo, Sutherland had said, "Though a traditional Test match venue with a proud history, the WACA ground has the smallest capacity of the five mainland Test venues and has historically attracted lower attendances. The WACA has been working hard to improve the facilities for its fans but it still requires significant improvements."

Having consolidated their leadership in the wall clocks segment, Ajanta-Orpat Group is now focussed on kitchen appliances, especially, grinders and fans as the next target growth area for the company. Business Insider caught up with the Director of Orpat- Ajanta Group Nevil Patel in an exclusive chat on their journey so far, what sets them apart, and their growth plans going ahead. Ajanta-Orpat’s journey from ₹1 lakh to ₹1200 crore company Nevil Patel is the third generation of his family running this business. Patel told Business Insider that in 1985 their company was the first one to bring quartz technology in India before that they had the mechanical clocks. “From a small assembler of 100 pieces per month, the production of clocks reached up to a level of ₹1.35 crores a year, which is a record in history,” he said <div type="image" title="Nevil Patel" msid="77798069" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Nevil Patel Director, Ajanta-ORPAT Group &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div> His grandfather, Odhavjibhai R Patel began this wall-clock making business with ₹1 lakh rupees. This Gujarat based company, which is also the world’s largest wall clock manufacturer, has grown from an annual turnover of ₹200 crore to over ₹1200 crore now. Today, besides being an exporter in over 45 countries, the Group holds a range of different products— from the calculator, telephone, toys to home appliances, including blender, room heater, fans, iron, grinders, and some more. These are the edited transcripts of the interview. Q) What has changed for the company in this lockdown? As we get classified into semi-essential categories in terms of home appliances and kitchen appliances, we just had to close our factory for 40 days. We were later in the green zone as the government classified it and were the first area to open the factories post-lockdown. The anti-China sentiments of retailers and suppliers helped us pick up really well. But things changed after we started. We had to put a lot of changes in terms of processes. We have a lot of buses that carry all our 5,000 employees. Now that became risky. So initially, we were working at a 30% capacity to adhere to social distancing norms. We introduced temperature checking and sanitising, and gradually we all got to fit into the process of wearing a mask. Q) What is the market share you hold in the clock segment? We hold a 90% market share in the clock segment in India. Largely, in the wall clocks segment. Q) How does your company benefit from the border tensions? The India-China standoff especially has been simmering for a few months now. Since we are totally a Made in India (company), we have everything manufactured in India. So you know there is a huge sentiment at the best level— that is the consumer level, which is obviously going up to the retailer and suppliers that they prefer having the Indian companies. Also, because of the COVID, the imports from China were being delayed, and that’s why the competitive brands, which were importing and selling in India were not able to fulfill the demand. That demand also shifted to us. Q) What percent of your raw material is imported? We do import raw material, and we import it from China. We have been trying for the last ten years to stop importing. But there are certain raw materials that we still do not have an alternative for, which we are in the process of finding. But if ten years back we were importing 40% of the raw material, today we are at 3%. Certain raw materials need time to build up an alternative for. Q) What is the growth percent you are expecting in the coming months? Honestly, we were growing very aggressively in terms of appointing new distributors. But because of the lockdown, a lot of people can’t travel. And, our model is a little different where the distributor needs to come to the factories to understand the process, and how to service the products, etc. So that delay in the process is the reason we might not be in a position to see a growth percentage. It all depends on how the festive season picks up. We are all expecting the coming months to be critical. We also have a lot of business coming from the room heaters category. So that is the season that will come up. However, we lost a fan season when most of the country was under the lockdown. Q) What is the business strategy in the coming months? As I said, we are appointing new distributors. And there were certain territories which we have open. The South was not very strong. There’s a lot of international business that is coming in. We have very good traction for wall clocks in Australia right now. So there’s a lot of international sentiments that are shifting from other countries to India as a manufacturing hub. <div type="image" title="Ajanta-ORPAT Factory Inside" msid="77798080" hostid="261"></div> Q) How many distributors do you have in India? Currently, we have 450 distributors in India. We estimated it to be near 800 by the end of 2022. We have a very strong pipeline, and we have been growing at a much faster rate at the distributor level than we expected. And, we don’t see a problem in reaching that target. Q) Do you have any plans to go public anytime in the future? No, not at the moment. Q) What has been your business focus in the last few years? Ahh, focus, Home appliances, Kitchen appliances, and fans have been our focus other than wall clocks. Again in fans, we are launching a certain technology by the end of this year. We are also launching different technology in a mixer grinder that we plan to launch in November. In terms of fans, we are launching BLDC technology (Brushless DC motors), which is more of a power-saving fan— It will save around 85% of the power. In a mixer grinder, we are launching a very premium product, which can do multiple things. So there are these mixer grinders from international brands in the range of ₹ 40000 to 50000, which can make smoothies, atta’s and soups and all kinds of stuff. We have been working on this for almost two years now. Ours will be completely Made in India and will also be at a much much affordable price. Q) Do you see your market share increasing in the clock segment in the coming months? The wall clock is a difficult sector for a new player to enter. To manufacture a wall clock for a single wall clock, you would need over 200 products and processes. For us, everything for glass cutting to the coil making, everything is done in the house that is the reason we are able to sell it at a reasonable price. There’s a lot of acceptability around the market for our clocks. We will 100% be able to maintain our position as a world leader in clocks. The social networking site unveiled the 25 most popular locations of 2013 as part of its end of year review.
Disneyland, in Anaheim, California, was number one in the US, while Disneyland Paris and Toyko Disneyland were the top sites in France and Japan.
The Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa in Iceland, made the top 25, as did St Mark's Square in Venice, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Las Ramblas in Barcelona, Sharm el-Sheikh, and the Golden Temple in Amritsar, India.
Several sporting venues also featured - the Friends Area near Stockholm, Sweden, where the country's national football team perform; Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia, which also hosts Australian Rules Football; and the Rogers Arena, an indoor venue in Vancouver.
The O2 arena, which has hosted acts including Fleetwood Mack, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Plan B and Justin Bieber this year, was the most popular British destination.
Taksim Square in Istanbul, the site of massive protests earlier this year, was the site most frequently checked in at in Turkey.
The most talked about events of 2013 were also revealed by Facebook. They included the election of Pope Francis, the birth of the royal baby, Typhoon Hainan, the Boston Marathon bombing, the Tour de France, and the death of Nelson Mandela.

 The Top 25 Locations To Check In On Facebook

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares for his first visit to <keyword id="6355478" type="COUNTRY" weightage="40" keywordseo="Australia">Australia</keyword> after having assumed the office, one of the major expectations from Indian diaspora everywhere is, to see him repeat the Madison Sqaure magic that came about during his visit to New York few weeks ago. 
 
And why not! Modi was supported by diaspora in Australia to the hilt during his run up to the race of Prime Minister’s office, almost as much as the Indians living in the US did. 
 
The preparation seems to be very inclusive too. He has created a dedicated Internet page for all people to list out their expectations from this visit. He tweeted a few days ago saying: “I want to hear ideas and thoughts from all of you, including friends in Australia and the Indian community there on my visit.” 
 
When he lands on the Australian soil in November, Modi will address a joint sitting of federal parliament of Australia. 
 
He will be the first Indian Prime Minister to have done so in the last 28 years. The last visit was by the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in 1986. Since then, though India and Australia share a very close bond, no Indian premiers visited the country to take the bilateral relations further. 
 
His visit to Australia will be to participate in G20 summit scheduled to be held in Brisbane, but his visit itself is a singular event that will provide major boost and create synergies that will take the close relationship between the nations to the next level. 
 After participating in the G20 summit, Modi will proceed to Canberra to hold a bilateral meeting with Australian counterpart <keyword id="201673" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Tony-Abbott">Tony Abbott</keyword>. This will be the second significant meeting of the leaders after Abbott visited India last month. During this visit, the two countries entered into a civil nuclear cooperation agreement. 
 
With a prelude like this, the visit is more significant than the excitement that is built around the event. Though Indian Australian community organisations are planning to use this visit to build more solidarity within communities in Syndey, and Melbourne using the famous Olympic Grounds, Modi’s speech will probably be broadcast from the historical Melbourne Cricket Grounds. 
 
As the enthusiasm levels go up on this visit, it is also a rather noteworthy aspect that Australia is shaping up as India’s most important international partners. Australia is increasingly becoming a significant source of India’s energy needs. With the nuclear agreement being firmly in place, India will certainly be very focused on completing the administrative agreements and begin the groundwork for implementation of those. 
 
This can be termed as the event of solidarity since Australia is the current chair for both Indian Ocean Regional Association and Indian Ocean Naval Symposium. Coincidentally, both nations are looking forward to working together on security—especially around the Indian Ocean region. 
 
However, what remains to be seen is whether the Indian Prime Minister will be able to provide any succor to the Indians living in Australia, who have been subject to racial abuse on several instances. The issue will probably resonate during the Prime Minister’s meeting with the diaspora. 
 
Before landing in Australia Modi who soon aims to be a global states man, will also visit Myanmar to discuss a host of security issues. All along this trip, Modi would be sharing stage with regional and world leaders and to brainstorm on pressing security needs and global economic issues. 
 
The meetings will have similar, focused and regionally specific agendas with common concerns. Modi’s government has so far been forthright in its views about ensuring security and stability in surrounding nations for mutual benefit.

Yet the two aren’t as mutually exclusive as some may think. Australia has a long and proud history of sporting <keyword id="94495" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="60" keywordseo="Innovation">innovation</keyword>. Here are seven success stories that have changed sport forever, particularly how we watch along at home…

<h2>1. RaceCam (<a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/?s=motorsport">Motor Racing</a>)</h2>
It’s 1979. You’re at home watching ATN-7’s (now Channel 7) coverage of the Hardie-Ferodo 1000 from Mount Panorama, Bathurst. A first-person perspective puts you inside Peter Williamson’s Toyota Celica, complete with the driver’s audio commentary. This isn’t retrieved footage from an onboard camera after an event — or a cameraman hunched on the back seat for a limited period. This is live; for the first time.
Thanks to ATN-7 engineers Geoff Healy and John Porter, and reportedly inspired by Geoff’s son placing a camera on the dashboard during a trip to school. Microwave radio transmitters and helicopter relays made the idea a reality. It wasn’t until several years later that RaceCam made its way to the US. Yet today we have miniaturised remote control cameras that can tilt and zoom, be attached to bumpers and roofs and bring viewers closer to the action than ever before. Today, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/category/formula-one">Formula One</a> even mandates that cameras must be mounted to a car.

<h2>2. Stump-Cam (<a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/?s=cricket+australia">Cricket</a>)</h2>
Hot on the heels of RaceCam, TCN Channel 9 introduced Stump-cam in the early 1980s. An expensive camera was sheathed in the middle stump, and a microphone used to pick up snicks (unless Lillee and Chappell were losing their cool). Stump-Cam revolutionised cricket broadcast in an era that famously also saw Kerry Packer take on Cricket Australia, experiment with white cricket balls, limited overs cricket and more.
As the 90s rolled around, the BBC also started using stump cameras; one of which was spectacularly shattered by fast bowler Devon Malcolm the 1990-91 Ashes tour. Over time, stump cameras became standard, and new Channel 9 innovations like the Snikometer speed gun (1999; in conjunction with Sky <keyword id="6356028" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="Sports">Sports</keyword>), Hawkeye (2002) and HotSpot (2006) have been introduced for backyard umpires to enjoy.

<h2>3. Winged Keel (<a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/category/yachts">Yacht Racing</a>)</h2>
In 1983 it had been more than 130 years since the New York Yacht Club relinquished its hold on the America’s Cup. Until, of course, Australia II – designed by Ben Lexcen and owned by the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/category/alan-bond">Alan Bond</a> syndicate – made history by winning four races to three. Who can forget that <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/category/bob-hawke">Bob Hawke’s</a> reaction?
The success was largely attributed to Ben Lexcen’s innovative Wing Keel design and his use of reduced waterline length, lightweight carbon fibre boom and efficient vertical sails. The secretive keel delivered Australia II huge advantages in maneuverability and changed the direction of high performance sailboat design.

<h2>4. Graphics And Imaging (<a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/category/swimming">Swimming</a> And, Well, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/category/sport">All Sport</a>)</h2>
American TV networks are obsessive about sports graphics, but that doesn’t mean they have a monopoly on innovation. For its broadcast of the Sydney Olympic 2000 swimming — starting with the qualifying trials — Channel 9 partnered with Germany’s Orad Hi-Tec Systems to debut what NBC Sports and Olympics Chairman Dick Ebersol would later call “one of the greatest advances in Olympic television ever.”
That breakthrough: a virtual world record line that let Australians at home and in pubs cheer swimmers past a thin yellow line. Continued developments introduced a submerged country flag in each lane for swimming and expanded use in cricket, athletics and American football. Touch down!

<h2>5. The Automatic Totalisator (<a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/category/horse-racing">Horse Racing</a>)</h2>
In 1913, before computers, computational problems were solved with mechanical solutions. It was still a year before Thomas Watson would join the company later known as IBM. That’s why England-born New Zealander George Julius prototyped a vote-counting machine called the automatic totalisator while working as engineer in Sydney. The government said no, so Julius adapted the concept into a large-scale race odds calculator and formed Automatic Totalisators Ltd., operating from Sydney.
The totalisator debuted at Auckland racing club, followed by Gloucester Park Racetrack in Western Australia. George Julius would later become chairman at the CSIRO and was knighted in 1929. His machine inspired years of horseracing totalisator innovation, and was a precursor to dividend prediction. Shout your kiwi mate a beer next time you have a flutter.

<h2>6. Super Sopper (<a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/?s=cricket+australia">Cricket</a>, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/?s=tennis">Tennis</a>)</h2>
Imagine a world where rain delays were extended indefinitely until grounds and courts dried. It’s a couch potato and sports fan’s nightmare. You might even remember those dark days. Welcome to 1974. Gordon Withnall’s sneaking in a round of golf in Sydney when his ball lands in a large puddle of water. As an inventor, the problem bothered him, but he soon built a prototype ‘Super Sopper’, received a world patent and was voted best machine of the night on ABC’s TV’s The Inventors.
Before long, the Melbourne Cricket Ground asked for a customised larger version, and hallowed English ground, Lords, also bought into the idea. Eventually, the ‘Sandpiper’ model was drying saturated <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/?s=tennis">tennis courts</a> within fifteen minutes. How’s that for Aussie know-how.
<h2>7. MoTeC Engine Telemetry (<a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/?s=motorsport">Motor Sport</a>)</h2>
In the early 1990s, Melbourne-based MoTeC pioneered the use of live telemetry and data logging in <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com.au/?s=motorsport">Australian motorsport</a>. Soon after the home workshop developed one of the world’s first temperature-compensated Lambada meters for measuring air/fuel ratios.
Fast forward a few years and MoTeC’s purpose-built Research Centre opened in 2002 and its advanced engine management systems and data analysis tools have been adopted in Le Mans, NASCAR, Australian V8 Supercars, Indy Car, the Dakar Rally, F1 Powerboats, Formula 4000 and the military. This is technology behind pit stop strategy, engine optimisation, telemetry data for television viewers, and more.
