No one can forget the climax where the rebellious women throw red chilli powder on the subedar, played by Naseeruddin.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. And Khoon Bhari Maang starring <keyword id="182" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rekha">Rekha</keyword> has featured this quite effectively. An innocent woman is deceived and nearly killed by a man in the name of love. Following this, starts her <keyword id="6374782" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="journey">journey</keyword> from a Plain Jane to a femme fatal, out to take revenge on the man who has torn her life apart. 
 
6. <keyword id="239593" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Damini">Damini</keyword> What happens when a demure daughter-in-law drags her wealthy family to court to get justice for her <keyword id="6425546" type="POSITION" weightage="80" keywordseo="maid">maid</keyword>, who is raped by her brother-in-law? Chaos and mayhem, especially in a society where a bahu is always expected to obey her in-laws. It’s all the more commendable in a country where being open about your sexual urges is still considered a taboo. The film delivers ‘<keyword id="4578" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="entertainment">entertainment</keyword>, entertainment, entertainment’ and reveals a different face of a woman. 
 
10. <keyword id="6358300" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kahaani">Kahaani</keyword> 
With her stellar performance in Kahaani, Vidya proves that you don’t need a hero to deliver a hit! In the film, she has played a seven-month pregnant woman who is in search of her husband, and a breath-taking thriller unfolds. Kudos to Vidya, who ironically displays more ‘male ornaments’ than most heroes.

Bollywood Movies That Celebrate Womanhood

We all know that Salman Khan is launching his protégé <keyword id="1623055" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sooraj-Pancholi">Sooraj Pancholi</keyword> (Son of Aditya Pancholi) along with <keyword id="928985" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Athiya-Shetty">Athiya Shetty</keyword> (daughter of Suniel Shetty) in the official remake of the 1983 film Hero, in the debut production of his banner, <keyword id="1542347" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Salman-Khan-films">Salman Khan Films</keyword>. The movie’s fate was in question after Sooraj was accused of being responsible for the death of his alleged girlfriend Jiah Khan, but her death was later ruled as suicide. 
 
The first official trailer of the movie, which has been named after the original movie, is out, and Sooraj Pancholi definitely looks like the next big thing. 
 
With the toned physique and a rugged, tattooed look, we see him portraying Sooraj, a goon who has kidnapped the daughter of the IG of police, with whom he later falls in love with. Athiya, in her role as Radha, looks innocent and convincing at what was required from her end. 
The trailer is full of action scenes and we also hear the title track of the movie being played in the background in some scenes. 
 
Three words get highlighted in the trailer: rebels, love and freedom, and looks like the movie is going to be as interesting as the 1983 original, which is remembered for the earnest performances of Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri in the lead roles. 
 
The script has been re-written by Nikhil Advani, whohas also directed the movie, along with Umesh Bisht. Co-produced by Mukta Arts, the banner that produced the original, Eros International, Emmay Entertainment and Salman Khan Films, the movie would release on 11th September.

Tiger Shroff 
Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger is all set to taste the Friday fury of Bollywood when his upcoming film Heropanti hits the theatres. What’s more, with this movie, life has come full circle for Jackie who debuted with Hero some 30 years back and the current movie is a remake of the earlier one. With acting in his genes, a perfectly chiselled body, enviable looks and confident dance moves, 24-year-old Tiger appears to be a complete Bollywood package. 
 
Harshvardhan Kapoor After <keyword id="710" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Sonam-Kapoor">Sonam Kapoor</keyword>, it’s time for kid brother Harshvardhan to go for a Bollywood outing. Taking after papa Anil Kapoor (including his looks), 21-year-old Harshvardhan initially assisted Anurag Kashyap in Bombay Velvet. But Kapoor Jr. will soon start shooting for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s, Mirza Sahibaan, where he will be playing the role of Mirza. It is said that Harshvardhan has cut himself off completely from the elitist lifestyle of Mumbai and is staying in Delhi to get into the skin of the character. 
 
<keyword id="108765" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Isabel-Kaif">Isabel Kaif</keyword> <keyword id="6354850" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Katrina-Kaif">Katrina Kaif</keyword>’s kid sister Isabelle is all set to venture into movies with Dr. Cabbie, a film directed by Canadian director Jean-François Pouliot and co-produced by Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Interestingly, Isabel has a degree in acting from the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, New York. 
 
Suraj Pancholi and <keyword id="928985" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="40" keywordseo="Athiya-Shetty">Athiya Shetty</keyword> 
While Tiger is busy with Heropanti, the remake of his father’s debut movie Hero stars two new star kids on the block. In this flick, Aditya Pancholi’s son Suraj and Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya will be playing the roles, which were portrayed by Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri in the 1983 original. 
 
Akshara Haasan 
Kamal Haasan and Sarika’s daughter has finally made up her mind and given a nod to acting. But unlike her elder sister Shruti, Akshara is going to debut with a Bollywood movie. Rumours are rife that it is going to be an R. Balki film, starring Dhanush and Amitabh Bachchan. Now, that’s what we call a big break. 
 
Jhanvi Kapoor Going by her looks and the kind of exposure she has, this daughter of producer-director Boney Kapoor and actress <keyword id="6354580" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Sridevi">Sridevi</keyword> may soon make it to a Bollywood movie.
