The gross revenue was Rs 1,827 crore, reflecting a growth of +17 per cent over the same quarter of the previous year. All hospitals improved their average revenue per occupied bed (ARPOB) during the period and the overall average growth in ARPOB stood at 13 per cent year-on-year. Cash flow from operations stood at Rs 436 crore during the quarter, of which Rs 90 crore was spent on ongoing capacity expansion projects. International patient revenue grew by 25 over the same period of the previous year and +11 per cent compared to the preceding quarter. The share of international patient revenues stood at 9 per cent of the hospital revenue during the quarter.

Max Healthcare posts 26% increase in Q2 2023-24 net profit to Rs 338cr

New Delhi, Jun 13 () Max Healthcare on Saturday said the rate list being circulated on Twitter does not carry the complete facts of the rates being charged, as it includes cost of routine tests, medicines, doctor and nurse, among others. The clarification from the healthcare chain came as the rates charged by the private players have come under the public scanner on the micro-blogging site. Max Healthcare said its package rate card for COVID-19 medical management with all inclusions is -- economy at Rs 25,090, twin sharing ward is at 27,100, the single ward is at Rs 30,400, ICU is for Rs 53,000 and ICU with a ventilator is at Rs 72,500. This includes room rent, intensivist visits, visits by senior consultants, nursing charges, routine medicines and supplements for COVID treatment, medical consumables and all routine pathology investigations, among others, it added. "We are today running close to 1,000 COVID beds and have so far treated over 2,000 COVID patients. We have 1,970 healthcare workers (HCWs) taking care of these patients round the clock, we had over 427 HCWs falling sick and admitted, we had 3,220 staff quarantined, and intermittently off work over the last 2.5 months, yet we continue to serve. "However, the accusations of profiteering are completely wrong; our COVID only facility in Saket, which was fully occupied for the month of May 2020, incurred huge losses. New Delhi, Feb 5 () Max Financial Services on Wednesday reported a 56 per cent decline in standalone net profit at Rs 61.60 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2019. The company's net profit had stood at Rs 139.89 crore in the year-ago quarter. Its total income during the latest quarter also slipped to Rs 80.19 crore as against Rs 176.57 crore in the year-ago quarter, the company said in a regulatory filing. Max Financial Services Ltd (MFSL) is the parent company of Max Life. MFSL actively manages a majority stake in Max Life Insurance Company Ltd, making it India's first listed company focused exclusively on life insurance. DP HRS

New Delhi, Feb 7 () Max India on Friday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 366.6 crore for the third quarter ended December. The company had posted a loss of Rs 30.3 crore in the year-ago quarter, Max India said in a filing to the BSE. Total income during the quarter under review stood at Rs 34.23 crore as against Rs 34.84 crore in the same period of preceding fiscal. New Delhi, Feb 11 () Healthcare services provider Aster DM Healthcare on Tuesday reported a 33.77 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 151.43 crore for the quarter ended on December 31, 2019. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 113.20 crore for the corresponding period of previous fiscal, Aster DM Healthcare said in a filing to the BSE. Consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 2,321.66 crore for the quarter under consideration. It was Rs 2,150.10 crore for the same period year ago. Aster DM Healthcare Q3 net profit up 34 pc to Rs 151.43 cr

New Delhi, Feb 14 () Budget carrier SpiceJet on Friday posted a net profit of Rs 73.2 crore for the three months ended December."This profit is after a non-cash forex charge on account of Ind AS 116 of Rs 75.9 crore without which the profit would have been Rs 149.1 crore," the airline said in a release.Ind AS 116 or Indian Accounting Standard 116 pertains to leases.In the 2018 December quarter, the carrier recorded a profit of Rs 55.1 crore.Operational revenue in the latest December quarter climbed 47 per cent to Rs 3,647.1 crore. In the year-ago period, the same stood at Rs 2,486.8 crore.SpiceJet Chairman and Managing Director Ajay Singh said the airline has done remarkably well in the latest quarter, despite a substantial profit hit from the grounding of MAX aircraft.Last year, Boeing 737 MAX planes were grounded worldwide in the wake of two fatal crashes involving the aircraft."We were expecting the MAX to return to service by January 2020 but that hasn't happened."The continued grounding and the delay in its return to service has undoubtedly hit our growth plans adversely and resulted in inefficient operations and increased costs," Singh said.SpiceJet is the only domestic carrier having MAX aircraft in its fleet. SpiceJet reports Rs 73.2 cr profit in Dec quarter

New Delhi, Feb 5 () Drug firm Cadila Healthcare on Wednesday reported a 26.78 decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 373.9 crore for the quarter ended December, mainly on account of rise in expenses. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 510.7 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Cadila Healthcare said in a filing to the BSE. Total revenue from operations stood at Rs 3,638.1 crore for the quarter under review as compared with Rs 3,577.9 crore in the year-ago period. "During the quarter, the company launched 9 new products in the US which included a day one launch. The company filed 14 additional abbreviated new drug applications (ANDAs) with the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) taking the cumulative number of filings to 386," Cadila Healthcare said. The company received eight new product approvals (including two tentative approvals) from the USFDA during the quarter, it added. It launched oral anti-diabetic agent, Vinglyn and Vinglyn M in India during the quarter, Cadila Healthcare said. New Delhi, Feb 6 () Leading basmati rice firm LT Foods on Thursday posted a 26 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 48.18 crore for the third quarter of 2019-20 on lower expenses. The company's net profit stood at Rs 38.22 crore during the October-December quarter of 2018-19, according to a BSE filing. Net income declined to Rs 997.60 crore during the third quarter of the 2019-20 fiscal from Rs 1,116.79 crore in the year-ago period. Expenses remained lower at Rs 930.11 crore when compared with Rs 1,050.97 crore in the said period. LT Foods is engaged in milling, processing and marketing of branded and non-branded basmati rice. It has manufacturing units of rice food products in India and the international market. Its revenue from operations for Q4FY24 came in at Rs 25,959 crore, up 11 per cent over the year-ago period. The net profit was pegged at Rs 5,337 crore for just-ended quarter, up from Rs 4,716 crore in the fourth quarter of FY23, which translated into a 13.16 per cent increase. According to a BSE filing by the company, for the full FY24, the net profit stood at Rs 20,466 crore, which was 12.4 per cent higher than that of FY23. The revenue for full fiscal ended March 2024 was Rs 1,00,119 crore, up 10.2 per cent over the preceding fiscal. Reliance Jio Q4 net profit rises over 13% to ₹5,337 crore

New Delhi, Feb 6 () GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare Ltd on Thursday reported a 25.13 per cent jump in standalone net profit to Rs 276.63 crore for the quarter ending December 2019, driven by cost efficiencies. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 221.06 crore in the same quarter a year ago. The total income of the company rose to Rs 1,274.90 crore as against Rs 1,241.07 crore, GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare said in a filing to BSE. "We have witnessed sustainable growth since the past few quarters and are happy with the performance in Q3," the company's Managing Director Navneet Saluja said. It has been a milestone quarter for the company as it achieved the highest ever distribution reach, adding approximately 0.22 million outlets compared to same period last year, he added. "With our focus on delivering high-science products based on strong consumer insight, this year witnessed the successful launches of Horlicks Protein+ (Vanilla) and Active Horlicks," Saluja said. The company further expanded its rural reach through a unique Home to Home channel that employs 9,500 rural women entrepreneurs, he added. "Despite the current downturn in the economy, we are optimistic that concentrated efforts by the government will help boost consumption and revive demand in the market," Saluja said.
