<p><a href="http://www.thegarden.com/events/2013/april/muse-at-madison-square-garden.html" target="_blank">Muse played at Madison Square Garden</a> Monday night to a relatively packed house. The <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/category/boston-marathon-explosions">Boston Marathon Bombings</a> might have had something to do with a little bit lower attendance than would be expected, but it was still a great crowd and a thoroughly amazing performance.</p>
<p>At one point lead singer <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/muse-singer-plays-national-anthem-for-boston-2013-4">Matthew Bellamy called out "This is for Boston!"</a> and played the  National Anthem. </p>
<p>We took in the show from the East Floor level and thoroughly enjoyed the impressive stage display and effects. The giant inverted and mechanized moving pyramid TV was especially impressive. </p>
<p>The band was tight and in good form, riffing between new songs like "<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ek0SgwWmF9w" target="_blank">Madness</a>" and old favorites like "<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3Yc3HhSl1Q" target="_blank">Knights of Cydonia</a>" with ease. Fans of both old and new albums should enjoy the mix played. They stayed true to their classics while calling out some of the better tracks from their new album. </p>

A Photo Recap Of Muse's Awesome Concert Last Night In NYC

<p>The<a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/category/boston-marathon-explosions"> Boston Marathon bombing attack</a> may have shaken up the nation, but it didn't stop people from attending sporting events and <keyword id="3997287" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="concerts">concerts</keyword>. Rock band <a href="http://www.thegarden.com/events/2013/april/muse-at-madison-square-garden.html" target="_blank">Muse played Madison Square Garden</a> on Monday night to an enthusiastic crowd.</p>
<p>During the show, <keyword id="36255" type="CITY" weightage="60" keywordseo="muse">Muse</keyword> lead singer Matthew Bellamy called out "This is for Boston!" and played the National Anthem, The Star-Spangled Banner. </p>
<p>There was understandably a nervous energy about being part of such a large group the day of a horrendous attack, but when the National Anthem played the crowd erupted in solidarity.</p>
<p>It was a <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/boston-marathon-tributes-2013-4">wonderful moment of tribute</a> on a very difficult day for Americans. </p>
<p>Remember, keep calm and carry on. </p>

Matthew Bellamy Shouts 'This Is For Boston!' Plays National Anthem At Muse Concert [VIDEO]

<p>There have already been some <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/inspiring-images-from-boston-2013-4">incredible stories of the bravery </a><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/inspiring-images-from-boston-2013-4">and kindness</a> of people's responses to the tragedy in <keyword id="6368596" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="boston">Boston</keyword>. </p>
<p>In the aftermath, people have begun to pay tribute to the victims and the city with a simple message, that we should support Boston in any way that we can. </p>
