While Patil was arrested on August 30 from Kolhapur, Apte was taken into custody on Wednesday night from Kalyan in <keyword id="20086673" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Thane-district" source="keywords">Thane district</keyword>, nearly 10 days after an FIR was registered in connection with the incident. <br /><br />A 35-foot statue of the iconic <keyword id="20539975" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Maratha-warrior-king" source="keywords">Maratha warrior king</keyword> collapsed at the Rajkot fort in Malvan tehsil of the district on August 26, nearly nine months after Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled it. <br /><br />Patil and Apte were produced before a court in Malvan where the police sought their custody for interrogation. <br /><br />The court remanded them in police custody till September 10. <br /><br />Apte's advocate Ganesh Sovani said the sculptor had intended to surrender on Wednesday night and that he was willing to cooperate with the probe. <br /><br />"He is willing to submit to the police all details regarding the design of the statue and other documents," Sovani told the court. <br /><br />Apte, a Thane-based sculptor, was responsible for creating the 35-foot statue of Shivaji Maharaj. <br /><br />The Sindhudurg police had registered an FIR against Apte and Patil for the collapse of the statue last month, under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections for negligence and other offences.

Inadequate structural design<br /></strong><br />The structural integrity of the statue has come under scrutiny, with experts suggesting that the design and materials were not sufficient to withstand environmental conditions, particularly in a coastal region like Sindhudurg. New Delhi, Apr 8 () Leading hospitality firms ITC Hotels, Radisson Hotel Group and Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels are taking a slew of initiatives to serve healthcare providers and community at large in times of the coronavirus outbreak in the country.<p> Leveraging its rich expertise in food and hospitality services, the key initiative of ITC Hotels has been food distribution across cities based on the requirements of the local administration as well as hospitals, the company said in a statement.</p><p> While in New Delhi, ITC Maurya and Sheraton have been providing over 1,500 meals daily for distribution to migrant workers; in Bengaluru, ITC Gardenia is lending its support with 1,000 food packets daily for 15 days (15,000 meals) to Municipal Corporation, ITC Hotels said.</p><p> In Mumbai, ITC Grand Central has made arrangements to deliver meals to doctors in MG Hospital. Food has also been catered to doctors at the Kasturba Hospital in Mumbai by ITC Grand Central, it added.</p><p> In Lucknow, Fortune Hotel is also lending assistance through the provision of more than 1,000 meals per day. This initiative will be progressively rolled out in other metros including Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad, ITC Hotels said.</p><p> In addition to providing meals, ITC Hotel properties in Jaipur and Goa have provided shower caps for doctors and healthcare workers as well as ensuring availability of sanitisers, it added.</p><p> "ITC Maratha, Mumbai was identified as one of the quarantine spaces by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. The teaser doesn’t have any dialogues but one that comes in the last, when we hear Singh speaking in a thick Marathi accent. The movie also stars Tanvi Azmi, who had gone bald for her role as Radhabai, Bajirao’s mother, but she was not accommodated in the first teaser.<br />

Other Hindi films that ran for a longer period in recent times include Kabir Singh featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani.
