Thar, Xuv700, Scorpio N are the Mahindra's highest waiting cars

The company's total dispatches to its dealers stood at 58,801 units in February 2023. The Mumbai-based auto major's passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market rose 40 per cent to 42,401 units last month against 30,358 in February last year, the auto major said in a statement. "In our endeavour to make some of our SUVs available faster to consumers, we launched the Scorpio N Z8S variant and the <keyword id="20787041" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="thar-earth" source="keywords">Thar Earth</keyword> edition this month," Mahindra &amp; Mahindra President (Automotive Division) <keyword id="20273717" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="veejay-nakra" source="keywords">Veejay Nakra</keyword> said. The company's total tractor sales last month stood at 21,672 units, a dip of 16 per cent as compared to 25,791 units in the same month last year.

<keyword id="125045" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="fitch-ratings" source="Orion">Fitch Ratings</keyword> on Wednesday said it has revised the outlook on <keyword id="2981241" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="oravel-stays" source="Orion">Oravel Stays</keyword> Ltd's (<keyword id="2808667" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="oyo" source="Orion">OYO</keyword>) long-term foreign- and local-currency issuer default ratings to 'positive' from 'stable', while affirming the ratings at 'B-'. The ratings agency also said it has affirmed the rating on the USD 660-million senior secured term loan facility due 2026, issued by OYO's fully owned subsidiary, Oravel Stays Singapore Pte Limited, at 'B-'. "The outlook revision reflects our view that OYO is on track to generate positive EBITDA and cash flow from operations (CFO) sustainably. This follows positive EBITDA in every quarter of the financial year ended March 2023 (FY23), which is the first year of profits since OYO's incorporation in 2012," <keyword id="82981" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="fitch" source="Orion">Fitch</keyword> Ratings said in a statement. It further said, "We expect significant growth in its EBITDA in FY24, led by an ongoing demand recovery in the travel and tourism industry, the company's stable gross margins, and reduction in operating costs." The rating reflects OYO's asset-light business model "that benefits from minimal capex needs, largely exclusive distribution rights, pricing control over storefront inventory, fixed revenue share and strong long-term growth potential", it added. "The business profile's strengths are mitigated by the sector's high competitive intensity and demand cyclicality. The rating also reflects OYO's adequate liquidity," Fitch said. The ongoing demand recovery in the industry is expected to drive revenue growth of over 20 per cent, it said, adding, "we also expect OYO's operating leverage to benefit from a sustained reduction in costs and drive high single-digit EBITDA margins in FY24." On improved cost structure, Fitch said, "We expect the cost-reduction measures OYO undertook in recent years to support its improving profitability in FY24. We believe such reductions will not affect growth, as it has increased its business development staff to prioritise storefront additions." The ratings agency also said it estimates that "OYO's unrestricted cash at FYE23 is sufficient to fund its Fitch-estimated free cash flow deficit of around USD 7 million and annual debt repayment of around USD 6 million in FY24". However, it said, "a greater cash burn than we expect could weaken OYO's liquidity. Any potential default of the debt outstanding at one of OYO's shareholding entities owned by the founder may be a reputational risk and affect OYO's operations, and we treat this as an event risk." Fitch Ratings revises outlook on OYO's long-term issuer ratings to 'positive' from 'stable'

Automobile major <keyword id="6357096" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Mahindra-Mahindra">Mahindra &amp; Mahindra</keyword> has reported that bookings for 'All-New Thar' SUV has now crossed 15,000 bookings, since its launch on October 2, 2020. "Today 57 per cent of all buyers of the All-New Thar are first time car buyers and a significantly large share of all bookings are for the automatic variants," the company said in a statement on Monday. The all-new Thar will be available in two trims, namely "AX &amp; LX", with prices starting at Rs 9.80 lakh for AX series and Rs 12.49 lakh for LX series. It is powered by two all-new engines "the 2.0L mStallion TGDi" petrol engine, and "the 2.2L mHawk" Diesel engine. "These engines are offered with a choice of 6-speed manual transmission or 6-speed torque converter <keyword id="6747735" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="automatic-transmission">automatic transmission</keyword>, with an authentic 4x4 manual shift transfer case with a low ratio," the company had said on Oct 2nd. The deliveries of the SUV will commence from November 1, 2020. Mahindra Thar 2020 crosses 15,000 bookings — 57% are first time car buyers

Utility vehicles major <keyword id="6357096" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Mahindra-Mahindra">Mahindra &amp; Mahindra</keyword> (<keyword id="46869" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="MM">M&amp;M</keyword>) on Thursday said it is recalling 1,577 units of its SUV Thar with <keyword id="10704282" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="diesel-powertrain">diesel powertrain</keyword> to replace faulty camshaft, an engine part. The Mumbai-based auto major said it would undertake proactive inspection and replacement of camshaft on a batch of 1,577 units of <keyword id="10703974" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="thar-diesel-variants">Thar diesel variants</keyword>, manufactured between September 7 and December 25, 2020. "A machine setting error at the supplier's plant, on specific dates, may have affected camshafts in some engines of the diesel Thar," M&amp;M said in a regulatory filing. Keeping with the company's stringent quality standards and exercising abundant caution, it has proactively engaged in this limited recall and offered inspection and subsequent rectification, <keyword id="6370553" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="free">free</keyword> of cost, the automaker noted. The company said the affected Thar customers will be individually contacted by the company. As an endeavour to ensure a hassle-free experience for its customers, the company is proactively carrying out this activity, it added. This action is also in compliance with SIAM's voluntary code on vehicle recall, M&amp;M said. The new version of Thar was launched on October 2 last year. The model comes in two trims -- AX and LX -- with both petrol and diesel powertrain options. All the variants of new Thar come with a four-wheel drive set-up.
