 Yes, the <keyword id="1485" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Madame-Tussauds">Madame Tussauds</keyword> wax museum is going to open up in India’s national capital Delhi for Bollywood stars as a part of India-UK Year of Culture in 2017. 
 
The news was announced in London and it coincided with PM Narendra Modi’s three-day UK visit. 
 
Though the wait is little longer, we assure you it’s worth it as the life size wax statues of Bollywood and Hollywood personalities, politicians and iconic leaders have been attracting visitors from across the world. 
 
The parent group of Madame Tussauds will invest 50 million pounds in India over 10 years. 
 
Well, in Delhi the wax museum will be for Bollywood stars. So who all are going to be waxed?! Here are our 10 top most favourites.

On Monday, Modi met Modi in New Delhi. Both were identically clad in white kurta pyjamas which were complimented by a cream jacket and a pair of black shoes. 
 However that was one tiny difference- one was the <keyword id="71" type="POSITION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Prime-Minister">Prime Minister</keyword> of <keyword id="3658" type="COUNTRY" weightage="100" keywordseo="India">India</keyword> and the other was his wax version. 
 <keyword id="6354477" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Narendra-Modi">Narendra Modi</keyword> had the opportunity of seeing his wax statue before it travelled to London to find a place in <keyword id="1485" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Madame-Tussauds">Madame Tussauds</keyword> museum at Baker Street from April 28. Besides, London, three other Modi wax figured will also be displayed in Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok today onwards. 
 
Taking their similarities a notch higher, Narendra Modi also joined in with his wax version in a trademark namaste. 
 
He was all praise for the wax replica after their unusual meeting. 
 
"What can I say? As far as art is concerned, the Madame Tussauds team is exceptional at what they do. What Lord Brahma does normally is what the artists there are doing. Today, I had an opportunity as the prime servant of my people to meet my wax figure," Modi added. 
 
 
 
According to Edward Fuller, the General Manager at <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=MADAME+TUSSAUDS&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Madame Tussauds</a>, the immense interest in <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=narendra+MODI&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Narendra Modi</a> is evident from his massive social media following. He also added that he was sure that it would also mean that many guest would line up to stand shoulder to shoulder with one of the most influential men in the world. “And, maybe even grab a selfie.” 
 
"We will be delighted to welcome Mr Modi to the world stage at Madame Tussauds, London," said Fuller, adding, "It's wonderful that he had the opportunity to see his figure in India earlier this week before the public gets the chance to meet him here." 
 
In case you were wondering, each Modi figure cost 150,000 pounds and took a team of talented artists four months to make. 
 
His wax replica will now join other global leaders at Madame Tussauds like <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=OBAMA&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">President Obama</a>, David Cameron, Angela Merkel, Francoise Holland while standing alongside giants like <keyword id="6355532" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Mahatma-Gandhi">Mahatma Gandhi</keyword> and Winston Churchill.

Nickelodeon celebrates 10 years of Motu Patlu, India’s famed animated duo

What is the favourite point of discussion when you have a journalist, an academician, a businessman, a housewife and taxi driver inside a cab going from Guwahati to Shillong? No guesses, it is Politics. 
 
People from all spheres of life in the north-east want to know who is winning in Assam and the moment you tell them you are from Delhi, they want to listen more. 
 The counting of votes for the 126-member assembly in Assam will take place on May 19 and the <keyword id="43771" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Exit-polls">exit polls</keyword> have already given the verdict, and it is exactly what majority of the people from Assam want. 
 
As per the exit polls, BJP will leapfrog through the 64-seat mark. Yes, they want Narendra Modi to win, badly!

They want MODI to win. Assam has not voted for BJP the party, but only for the prime minister, whose wax statue recently got inducted in the much-famed Madame Tussauds.

We want Sonowal to become the chief minister who should, under the guidance of Modi, listen to our grievances. The way Modi has reached out to us, no one has.” 
 
Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah are master strategists when it comes to campaigning. Even during the Assam campaigning, various social media tools were used to woo voters. 
 
“At least Modi is coming out in the open to speak to us. Tarun Gogoi never knew what to do with the region. We are hard working people,” said the driver. 
 
The local sentiment is not gauged by these four people only, others in local market, shops, hotels also want him to come, which means Modi’s BJP is definitely coming to Assam, ending the 15-year Congress rule. 
 
Modi, during electioneering, appealed to the Assamese to give him five years and lambasted Congress over water, power and employment issues. 
 
He in fact went a step ahead to gel with the crowd and also invoked goddess Kamakhya and sang an Assamese song to connect with the locals. 
 
“Business is not easy here. We are also fed up of migration and people from Bangladesh are a major point of contention for us,” said the businessman. 
 
Any criticism of Modi and his government almost certainly falls on deaf ears, or people reply with a curt, “He should be given time. Rome was also not built in a day. What he is doing now, will bear fruits in next five years. People of Assam are very patient. You should be too.” I was left without a reply there. 
 
If Modi does win the Assam battle, it will come as a huge sigh of relief after the BJP lost in Delhi and Bihar. 
 
If at all Modi, who played his development plank once again during campaigning, wins election in Assam, he will have to deliver his ‘all-round’ development pitch. Else, voters, might not be so welcoming.
