Hopping from one app to another, looking for a cab is an irritant and consumes a lot of time. This grumble by consumers was heard by Shalak Nail and Neha Bora, who have come up with taxi app aggregator-Loco Cabs. 
 <keyword id="3170727" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Loco-Cabs">Loco Cabs</keyword>, which was launched this year, has data of all cabs, such as <keyword id="6354720" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ola">Ola</keyword> and <keyword id="1042120" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Uber">Uber</keyword>, on one single app. 
 "We started with the app showing the cabs available close by and then a few months ago we approached Uber and Ola (and <keyword id="1428790" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="TaxiforSure">TaxiForSure</keyword>) to allow us to be able to facilitate their bookings as well," Naik told ET. 
 
By aggregating all taxi apps on one, taxi aggregators are to gain only as window will open to more users. 
 
Loco Cabs works as an aggregator for small-time travel companies and cab owners making intercity and overnight trips. 
 
Loco Cabs has tied up with Paytm and CCavenue and is in talks with Meru and Mega Cabs as well. 
 
Apart from cabs, they are also planning to add bus service. 
 
"The immediate priority is India but then as the market matures, we'd like to be a platform for all your surface travel needs. When you need to travel, you should be able to get the cheapest and fastest option here," said Naik.

<h1></h1><ul class="summary-list"><li>Bari Musawwir is the first Black Monster Jam driver in the motorsport's 70-year history. </li><li>He got his start by racing radio-controlled cars after he went to his first Monster Jam show.</li></ul>This is an as-told-to essay based on a conversation with Bari Musawwir, the first Black Monster Jam driver in the motorsport's 70-year history. Musawwir got his start in the sport by racing RC cars and won rookie of the year with no prior monster truck driving experience. The essay has been edited for length and clarity.I always had a love affair with anything with four wheels, an engine, a loud motor, or something that I could hear and connect with. So, when I was 6 years old, my mom took me to my first Monster Jam event in Pontiac, Michigan, at the Pontiac Silverdome. Back then, these trucks were larger than life, and you could feel the horsepower from the engine and see them crush cars. At 6 years old, you're just in awe. I knew at that age this is what I wanted to be involved with. From then on, I became a fan. I didn't know how I was going to be involved with it because we didn't have any wide open spaces for me to have a vehicle, like a four-wheeler or anything like that.<h2>Being discovered</h2>I got into hobby-grade radio-controlled cars and trucks at age 11. That became my hobby, and that's what led me to being discovered. Fast forward to 2006, a buddy of mine said, let's do an RC race at Digger's Dungeon, the home of the truck, Grave Digger. We asked Dennis Anderson (creator and former driver of Grave Digger) if we could have an RC race at his compound, and he let us do it. One of the Monster Jam officials, Bill Easterly, just happened to be there on business, and he took notice of me. I was doing some announcing, I was doing some racing, and I ended up doing really well. He asked me, "Do you have any kind of motorsports experience?"I told him all I had was radio control experience. He said, "Well, if you could drive an RC car that good, you could probably drive the real deal." He then told me they had a test session scheduled back here in a week. "If you can come back, we'd like to add you to it," he said.<div type="image" title="A photo of the monster truck zombie jumping over other cars" height="1777" width="2370" msid="103615656" hostid="261" sizebytes="445836"></div><h2>Stepping out in faith</h2>I went home from the RC race and told my superiors that I was going back up to do this test session. I didn't even ask them for the time off. It was kind of like I stepped out in faith. I did the test session in 2006, and I think I did better than they expected me to do. Still, I didn't get hired professionally, so I had to wait a couple more years. During those years, I was going to local events in Florida. I would think, "Man, when am I going to get my shot?" You feel like you're chasing a dream, and you don't know if it's going to happen, but you just want to be ready for when it does happen. And I was ready. I got asked to go back to do another test session in 2008. I did really well and learned from my previous test session. After that, I waited and waited and waited. Finally, two more years go by, and I get a call out of the blue: "Do you want to go do this event in Panama City, Panama?"<h2>'Welcome to the sport, rookie'</h2>I hadn't driven a truck in two years, which is unheard of, and then here I get thrown to the wolves, trial by fire.I had to go out there and sit in the truck that was shrouded by this makeshift hut, and I was supposed to blast out as a surprise. I remember thinking, this is my initiation to Monster Jam, like, "Welcome to the sport, rookie." The crowd went crazy! That was my first experience driving in front of a crowd. After that I said, "Yeah, this is for me. This is what I want to do."I got hired professionally for my rookie season in 2011, which was a breakthrough year for me. I won Rookie of the Year, and I got to accept that award as a part of the Monster Jam World finals event ceremony. <div type="image" title="A photo of a monster truck spinning in dirt" height="1671" width="2228" msid="103615659" hostid="261" sizebytes="316760"></div><h2>From the RC controller to the driver's seat</h2>Everybody's shocked when I tell them I got noticed racing radio control cars. It's definitely something I don't take lightly because I know so many people want this opportunity. This is my passion. This is my dream that I've wanted since I was 6 years old. I can apply some of the same techniques that I use with RC trucks to the real trucks. The law of inertia still applies. Jumping an RC truck is very similar to jumping a real truck. You can tap the brakes in midair to get the front end to come down to be able to control the truck in the air. There are a lot of similarities, but there are a lot of differences as well.I had driven the truck in my head a million times, but none of that matters until you're actually behind that steering wheel. You have to control this 12,000 pound truck with 1,500 horsepower, and you have to contend with nuances you didn't even think about until you're driving.You've got the water temperature, you've got oil pressure, you've got RPMs. There's a lot going on inside the cab of that truck when you're jumping and doing wheelies and donuts.<div type="image" title="A monster truck stands on its back wheels in front of a crowd." height="2400" width="3199" msid="103615661" hostid="261" sizebytes="956072"></div><h2>Driving Zombie</h2>I'm fortunate enough to drive a truck called Zombie, but I didn't start my career driving this truck. I went from the El Toro Loco truck, which has got horns and blows smoke out the nose, to driving a Spider-Man truck. Each truck comes with its own personality.Then I transitioned into Zombie, and I didn't quite know how I was going to make it my own and be able to resonate with fans.And then one day, it dawned on me — the truck has arms, so I'm just going to wave my arms to the crowd and see what happens. And unbeknownst to me, they waved right back.So now, it has become its own little phenomenon where if they hear Michael Jackson's "Thriller" playing, they know Zombie is about to come out. You're a role model by default because there are so many people who look up to you, and it's just because of the stage you're on. I have been given this immense task to be able to represent people that look like me.Now, my son wants to be involved with Monster Jam, and I feel like it's my duty to set a good example. Typically, you don't see many Black people in motorsports. I was once a fan coming to pit parties as a kid and wanting my favorite driver's autograph, and now I'm in that position where it's come full circle.

The world's most powerful locomotive manufactured by French giant Alstom along with the Madhepura Electric Locomotives Pvt Ltd, capable of running at maximum 12,000 HP, joined operations of the <keyword id="6355455" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="indian-railways">Indian Railways</keyword> on Monday, officials said. "Bolstering Prime Minister Narendra Modiji's vision of Make in India, first WAG12B (12000 HP) loco departed from Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay station in Uttar Pradesh today. Powerful and capable of high speed, the locomotive is a significant addition to the Indian Railways," tweeted Union Railway Minister <keyword id="6355222" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="piyush-goyal">Piyush Goyal</keyword>. According to Railway officials, WAG12B started its services from Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay railway station (Mughalsarai Junction) in Uttar Pradesh on Monday. The train departed from Deen Dayal Upadhyay station at 2.08 p.m. in long haul formation for Dhanbad division of East Central Railway, consisting of 118 wagons which travelled from Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction to Barwadih via Dehri-on-Sone, Garhwa Road stations. The locomotive is capable of taking heavy consingment of freight and will be used on the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC). "Alstom is pleased to start delivery of the electric locomotives to Indian Railways. Commencement of induction into the IR fleet, testifies our commitment towards the country. This is a revolutionary product which will be faster, safer and eco-friendly. Also, it is scripting a new chapter for India's sustainable mobility journey and we are happy to be partnering in this," said Alain Spohr, Managing Director, Alstom India and South Asia. A railway ministry spokesperson said that it was a proud moment for Indian Railways, as it became the sixth country in the world to join the elite club of producing high horse power locomotives indigenously. "It is the first time that a high horse power locomotive has been operationalised on broad gauge track in the world. The locomotive has been produced under Make in India programme. The Madhepura factory is the largest integrated greenfield facility built to the highest standards of quality and safety with production capacity of 120 locomotives and spread across a massive 250 acres." Railway officials said that the locomotive is capable of running on railway tracks with conventional over head wire (OHE) lines as well as on DFC with high rise OHE lines. The official further said that the locomotive has air-conditioned driver cabs on either side. "The locomotive is equipped with regenerative braking system which provides substantial energy savings during operations. These high horse power locomotives will help to decongest the saturated tracks by improving average speed of freight trains," the spokesperson said. Touted as the largest <keyword id="44749" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Foreign-Direct-Investment">Foreign Direct Investment</keyword> (FDI) projects of the Railways, the Ministry of Railways and Alstom came together in 2015. An agreement worth 3.5 billion euros was signed to manufacture 800 electric locomotives for freight services and its associated maintenance. These locomotives are state-of-the-art IGBT-based, 3 phase drive, 9000 KW (12000 horse power) electric locomotives. The locomotive is capable of maximum tractive effort of 706 kN, which is capable of starting and running a 6000 T train in the gradient of 1 in 150. The locomotive with twin Bo-Bo design having 22.5 T (tonnes) axle load is upgradable to 25 tonnes with design speed of 120 kmph. The locomotive will be used on the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) for the faster movement of goods, especially coal and iron ore. The railway official said that the project started in 2018 and Modi inaugurated the project on April 10, 2018. The prototype locomotive was delivered in March 2018. Based on the test results having design issues, the complete locomotive including bogies was redesigned. The new design of locomotive has been inspected by Research Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO) at Madhepura factory and cleared for dispatch from factory in November 2019, the official said. He said RDSO has conducted oscillation trials at various speeds upto 132 kmph and the locomotive has passed oscillation trials successfully.
