<ul><li>India will now have three <keyword id="8411238" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="central-sanskrit-universities">central Sanskrit universities</keyword> — <keyword id="2802845" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Rashtriya-Sanskrit-Sansthan">Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan</keyword>, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya <keyword id="6390141" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="sanskrit">Sanskrit</keyword> Vidyapeeth, Delhi, and Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth in Tirupati. </li><li>This is after the Parliament gave a nod to the Central <keyword id="7792758" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sanskrit-universities">Sanskrit Universities</keyword> Bill, 2020, which sought to convert the three deemed-to-be universities into central universities. </li><li>The move will promote Sanskrit at a global level and offer integrated courses in humanities, social sciences, and science, thereby preserving Sanskrit and other allied subjects. </li></ul>The Indian government has given central university status to three Sanskrit universities, allowing them to gain international recognition.. Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Delhi, and Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth in Tirupati received recognition from the government. “Sanskrit language is not only a language but an identity of the great cultural diversity of this country and hence it is known as an unique language. Due to these factors, it has become imperative to promote the study and research in Sanskrit language. Hence, the government proposed to convert these three deemed-to-be universities into Central Sanskrit Universities,” <a href="https://pib.gov.in/PressReleseDetailm.aspx?PRID=1606638">said</a> the Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank.’ Nishank elaborated that Sanskrit is a unique language in terms of grammar, meaning, pronunciation and accuracy, adding that Devanagari script is also derived from Sanskrit. The Parliament gave a nod to the Central Sanskrit Universities Bill, 2020. The bill had sought the conversion of the three deemed-to-be universities into central universities. The aim is to promote Sanskrit at a global level and offer integrated courses in humanities, social sciences, and science along with it. “These three universities will have more opportunities to spread the knowledge of Sanskrit language not only in India but also across the world in a better way. The world is looking towards Sanskrit language therefore it is being taught not only in Indian colleges and universities but also in top universities across the globe,” he added. As of now, India nearly has <a href="https://theprint.in/india/education/how-modi-govt-plans-to-get-international-recognition-for-indias-sanskrit-universities/379101/">18 Sanskrit universities</a> with over 100 colleges teaching the language. However, none of them had National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accreditation. The move will provide NAAC accreditation to the universities on the basis of their research, curriculum, faculty and infrastructure. <div type="image" title="sanskrit gurukul" msid="74668636" hostid="261"></div>

 After becoming central universities, they will be able to participate in university rankings — both national and international — such as the <keyword id="3171143" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="National-Institutional-Ranking-Framework">National Institutional Ranking Framework</keyword> (NIRF) and the QS Rankings. The development will<a href="https://prsindia.org/billtrack/central-sanskrit-universities-bill-2019"> allow the universities to create their own courses of study</a> and training programmes, grant degree certificates, distance education and an autonomous status. “The Central University status awarded to these three universities will enhance the status of these universities and will give a boost to postgraduate, doctoral, post-doctoral education and research practices in the field of Sanskrit and Shastraic education. This will pave the way for many people from abroad to learn Sanskrit and Shastraic lore from these prestigious central Sanskrit universities in our country,” the ministry said. India’s 3 central Sanskrit universities hope to spread Shastraic education globally

New Delhi, Feb 1 () More than Rs 238 crore has been allocated to the Personnel Ministry for the next financial year for domestic and foreign training of bureaucrats and augmenting necessary infrastructure, according to the budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday.
Of the total allocation of Rs 238.45 crore for 2020-21, Rs 83.45 crore has been earmarked for the ministry to meet establishment-related expenditure of the Delhi-based Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM), Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie and training division of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
Both the ISTM and the LBSNAA conduct several training programmes for Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and all other levels of secretarial functionaries with exposure to rules, regulations and aptitude. 
A total of Rs 88.99 crore has been provided to the ministry under this provision for 2019-20.
Under a separate head, Rs 155 crore has been allocated for the next fiscal under the head of "training schemes". A total of Rs 136.93 crore has been given under this head for the ongoing financial year. 
It includes upgradation of the LBSNAA to a centre of excellence and augmentation of training facilities at ISTM.
The Central Administrative Tribunals (CATs), which are entrusted with the redressal of grievances of public servants, have been allocated Rs 124.92 crore for 2020-21 to meet establishment-related expenditure. 
It has been given Rs 131.57 crore for the current financial year. 
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), which conducts various recruitment examination for central government jobs, has been allocated Rs 241.66 crore for 2020-21 to meet establishment-related expenditure, including those on the conduct of examinations for recruitment of staff in central ministries or departments.
It has the revised estimated budget of Rs 293.92 crore for the current fiscal year. AKV AKV KJ

Amarjeet Sinha’s career with the IAS Some of the distinguished roles played by Amarjeet Sinha during his career include Principal Secretary – Education Department, Additional Secretary – Ministry of Human Resources Development, Additional Secretary – Ministry of Rural Development, Secretary – Ministry of Rural Development, and Secretary – Ministry of Panchayat Raj. As an in-charge of administrative reforms and personnel and general administration in the central government during 2018 – 2019, he played a significant role in contributing to nation building. Amarjeet Sinha has over three decades of experience in the social sector of the government. Some of his notable contributions occurred in the realms of Sarva Siksha Abhiyan and National Rural Health Mission. He has also trained the IAS Officers at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. Bhaskar Khulbe’s career with the IAS Functioning from a responsible role in the Prime Minister’s Office is not new to Bhaskar Khulbe. After occupying some distinguished and eminent positions in the Indian Administrative Services, Bhaskar Khulbe Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office in 2014. He became the Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office in 2016 and occupied this position for three years till 2019. Before he stepped down from his position, this post was extended for him for six months as he had completed his service. Now he has once again joined the PMO as the Secretary to the Prime Minister for the second time after superannuation. Bhaskar Khulbe has a rich knowledge about the quality of officers. He has played a crucial role in making judicious appointments to the PMO. It is said he was always fond of guiding and molding junior officers. His long experience in serving the PMO is certainly an asset to the present position he holds.
