South Korean electronics giant LG had to call it quits due to the poor market performance arising from its inability to keep up with the fast-growing market. While that may have hit the guts of LG fanboys, they now have something to celebrate. <br /><br />The company is selling its latest smartphone LG Wing featuring a unique swivel design at less than half of its cost. The smartphone will be available for ₹29,999 on Flipkart, which is around ₹40K less than its launch price of ₹69,990. <br /><br />Do note that this could be a temporary price cut as it's valid during Flipkart’s Flagship Fest Sale, and the price might go back to normal. The sale starts on April 12 and lasts till April 15. Customers can also get an additional exchange discount of up to ₹16,500, lowering the total cost even more.<br /><br /><h2 style="line-height:1.38;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;">Should you buy the LG Wing at ₹29,999?</h2><br />Before we answer that question, note that the LG Wing is an engineering marvel and a one-of-a-kind smartphone that will not be produced anymore. That itself makes it a perfect collector's piece for those who appreciate it. <br /><br />As for the value proposition, the smartphone runs on a 7nm Snapdragon 765G 5G chip paired with 8GB RAM. The core configuration is the same as the OnePlus Nord, which is considered one of the best options in this price segment although it doesn't have a high refresh rate display. So, you get the standard hardware for the price with a futuristic design that can start conversations.<br /><br />The two downsides could be the software and after-sale support. For software woes, <keyword id="61562" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="LG-Electronics">LG Electronics</keyword> announced that all its premium smartphones will receive up to three iterations of OS updates from the year of purchase. So the fear of not getting software updates is also out of the way. But its after-sales service might not be as solid after the shut down of the smartphone division. LG Wing gets a ₹40,000 price cut a week after the company shuts its smartphone business

<ul><li><strong>Tata Consultancy Services (<keyword id="6357150" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="tcs">TCS</keyword>) share price is down by nearly 4% after markets opened today morning. </strong></li><li><strong>The company reported that net income for the quarter grew 15.6% to $1.26 billion with a wider margin of 26.8%. </strong></li><li><strong>It even declared a dividend of ₹15 a share.</strong></li><li>While the numbers were impressive, they missed the street's estimates.</li></ul>India's largest software exporter Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) posted its highest-ever revenue, the best growth in constant currency terms, the largest amount of new contracts, and hired the most amount of employees in any quarter. <p class="p1"><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image"></div><p></p></div></div>Last year, Apple boasted the world's first 64-bit smartphone when the company announced the A7 chip in the iPhone 5S. <a href="http://www.anandtech.com/show/7335/the-iphone-5s-review/13">Hardware reviewer Anand Shimpi called the A7</a> "seriously impressive" and "insanely good."</p>
<p class="p2"><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">Now, almost one year after that announcement, </span><a href="http://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2014/08/11/tegra-k1-denver-64-bit-for-android/">Nvidia on Monday unveiled</a><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;"> a special variant of its Tegra K1 mobile processor codenamed "Denver," which promises a similar 64-bit experience for Android devices.</span></p>
<p class="p2"><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">By moving to 64-bit architecture, a device can access more system memory and random access memory (RAM) at once, which makes the computing processes snappier and more responsive for things like multitasking and opening apps.</span></p>
<p class="p2"><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">The 64-bit push is a big deal, since it basically allows mobile phones to handle desktop-class applications much more efficiently, such as encoding and decoding video. That's a big deal for anyone who's ever tried recording, editing or uploading videos to YouTube, Instagram, Vine, Snapchat, Facebook, or elsewhere. </span></p>
<p class="p2"><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;"><a href="http://www.reddit.com/r/explainlikeimfive/comments/rhe85/eli5_the_difference_between_32bit_and_64bit/c45ts5y">One Reddit user compared the difference between 32- and 64-bit functionality on the iPhone to a library</a>, where a number of assistants must use bicycles to fetch a certain number of books. </span></p>
<p class="p2" style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;"><span>If there were 256 books on dinosaurs, then with 32 assistants it would take 8 cycles but with 64 it would only take 4. However, if there were only 20 books on dinosaurs it would make no difference if there were 32 assistants, 64 or even 128! It would still just be one cycle.</span></span></p>
<p class="p2"><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;"><a href="http://www.anandtech.com/show/7622/nvidia-tegra-k1">Anandtech says Nvidia's current 32-bit Tegra K1</a> "handily beats every other ARM SoC" in graphics benchmarks, but the new 64-bit Tegra K1 should outperform that chip in most tests.</span></p>
<p class="p2"><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;"><div class="KonaFilter image-container"><div class="image"></div><p></p></div><br /></span></p>
<p class="p2"><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">But perhaps the most important aspect of Nvidia's Denver, </span><a href="http://appleinsider.com/articles/14/08/12/one-year-after-apples-a7-nvidia-announces-first-64-bit-arm-cpu-for-android?utm_source=dlvr.it&amp;utm_medium=twitter">according to Apple Insider's Sam Oliver</a><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">, is the "architectural addition known as Dynamic Code Optimization," which "unrolls loops, renames registers, removes unused instructions, and reorders the code in various ways for optimal speed," according to the company. As a result, Nvidia says "this effectively doubles the performance of the base-level hardware."</span></p>
<p class="p2"><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">Speaking of hardware, Nvidia doesn't mention which device(s) will be the first to ship with the new Denver chipset. But the company says the first 64-bit version of Android L is currently being prepped for a fall release, and the Denver CPU will be fully compatible with the 32-bit Tegra K1 <span>"for ease of implementation and faster time to market," </span><a href="http://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2014/08/11/tegra-k1-denver-64-bit-for-android/">according to Nvidia</a><span>. To see the true improvements between the 32- and 64-bit Tegra K1's, however, we'll have to wait for benchmarks, which could be awhile.</span></span></p>
<p class="p2"><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">Though Samsung and LG's flagship Android phones have already released, Samsung still has a few handsets waiting in the wings this fall, including the </span><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/samsung-galaxy-alpha-leaked-photos-iphone-5s-2014-8">Galaxy Alpha</a><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;"> and </span><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/samsung-galaxy-note-4-leaked-photos-2014-8">Galaxy Note 4</a><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">. It's also been rumored that Nvidia's 64-bit Tegra K1 will also be </span><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/google-nexus-8-rumors-specs-leak-2014-8">featured in Google's forthcoming tablet</a><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">, the Nexus 8.</span></p>

Even former Google VP Vic Gundotra called him "<a href="https://plus.google.com/+VicGundotra/posts/LMY858eYL7y">the best technology reviewer on the planet right now</a>."</p>
<p class="p1"><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">YouTubers have taken notice of the young man: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/marquesbrownlee/">Brownlee's YouTube channel "MKBHD"</a> has more than 1.5 million subscribers and nearly 130 million total views on his 640+ videos. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Still, he's no overnight success: Brownlee has been working tirelessly for over five years, honing his craft by constantly producing and self-critiquing his videos to make the next ones easier to both make and watch.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">But despite all of the work involved, "MKBHD" is, was, and will always be a solo effort.</span></p>
<p class="p1">"When I first started making the videos, I didn't tell anyone about it," he said in an interview with Business Insider. "Not [my family], not anyone. But after awhile it was something that was pretty obvious, since I was making a whole bunch of videos… I just didn't necessarily feel like telling people about what I was researching."</p>
<p class="p1">Brownlee, a <span>senior at Stevens College in Hoboken, New Jersey,</span> said he's always had a love for technology. His dad works in technology - information systems and programming, specifically - but Brownlee's interests were more centered on consumer electronics, starting with computers and some of the old camcorders his parents had around. He said his first computer was a Dell desktop with a "big old 15-inch CRT monitor."</p>
<p class="p1">"It was kind of a background hobby, I didn't have a reason to tell anyone when I first started making the videos," he told us.</p>

<p class="p1">When he entered high school, Brownlee said he wanted to buy a laptop for school, so he researched various computers and watching tutorials on "how to do cool tricks and customizations." And simply by watching others make those tutorials, Brownlee felt encouraged to make some tutorials of his own with some simple screencasting software.</p>
<p class="p1">Still, it would take awhile to build an audience.</p>
<p class="p1">"It was super slow. The first few videos, there were no comments and no views," he told BI. "But eventually, once someone would comment on the video, they asked about other things I could share."</p>
<p class="p1">Brownlee started to gain a small following by answering users' questions with his own handmade videos. By the time he reached his 100th video, he only had 78 subscribers. But Brownlee's operation was not what it is today, and still very much a work in progress.</p>
<p class="p1">"Back then, it was all one take," he said. "So when I'd make a video, I'd open the software, press record, talk two or three minutes to explain whatever I needed to explain, and I'd just stop and upload it to YouTube. That was it. </p>
<p class="p1">"I could make multiple videos in a day, but now, the videos are much more elaborate."</p>

He's got his reviews, explainers and impressions, but he'll also throw in some special features and "<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwaW6HR9dw4&amp;list=UUBJycsmduvYEL83R_U4JriQ">advanced projects</a>." But with every single video, there's a great deal of research involved before Brownlee ever starts filming. </p>
<p class="p1">Like most consumers, he'll unbox the product and start forming impressions on it. Over the course of a week or so, he'll jot down various talking points to include in his video. But from the moment he turns on the camera and hits record, "it's probably less than 48 hours before that video is online."</p>
<p class="p1">These days, Brownlee uses a Sennheiser microphone and a Canon lens, and he edits using the Adobe suite, but he says the list of equipment he uses changes every few months.</p>
<p class="p1">"<span style="line-height: 1.5em;">I'm just picky about certain things in the videos so I'm always switching out things that look or sound better," he said. "These are things behind the scenes that people may never notice, but it makes the workflow easier."</span></p>
<p class="p1"><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image"><p class="source"><span>YouTube / MKBHD</span></p><p class="caption">Brownlee puts the LG G Flex's self-healing technology to the test.</p></div><p></p></div></div>According to Google Trends, Brownlee's videos <a href="http://www.google.com/trends/explore#q=marques%20brownlee">only recently started gaining traction</a> among the internet faithful - around the time of <a href="https://plus.google.com/+VicGundotra/posts/LMY858eYL7y">Gundotra's G+ post</a>, actually. <span style="line-height: 1.5em;">But when asked about his personal favorite MKBHD video, he said there were a couple of "milestone" videos that stood out, including a </span><span style="line-height: 1.5em;"></span><a href="http://youtu.be/AMLzrGSdCtQ" target="_blank">video he made for a contest hosted by Wrapsol</a><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">, in which he won the $1,000 first prize, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-W66HINFLg">and his LG G Flex scratch test video</a>, "because it was something I thought of that literally no one else would do. If you got that phone for 30 days to review, you'd never take a knife to it and see if it heals itself. But when I bought the phone I decided immediately I'm going to take a knife to it," he laughed.</span></p>
<p class="p3">His successful video business keeps growing - <span class="s1">Brownlee said the money he makes from his YouTube channel, which is powered by Google Adsense, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/how-much-money-youtube-stars-actually-make-2014-2">more than makes up for his production costs</a>. But he</span> said "it's definitely hard" to balance his various works, between school and his videos and everything in between. This balance was tougher to achieve in high school, which<span style="line-height: 1.5em;"> took up most of his time "in terms of pure hours in class." </span></p>
<p class="p3"><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">While it's never been easy for Brownlee to find time to make his videos, at least in college, Brownlee has a bit more flexibility in his schedule compared to high school - even as he majors in business and technology with concentrations in marketing and information systems.</span></p>
<p class="p3">When asked about his plans after college, Brownlee said he'll "definitely keep making videos as long as they're fun to make."<span style="line-height: 1.5em;"> </span></p>
<p class="p3">"But having a degree," he said, "I went so far with school so I might as well just finish. Getting my degree is something I'll be really happy about. I'll wing it from there."</p>
