According to an exchange filing, these projects are integral to the vast, interconnected electricity network, aiming to accelerate the <keyword id="20596535" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="clean-energy-transition" source="keywords">clean energy transition</keyword> and ensure a reliable, resilient power supply. In India, L&amp;T's PT&amp;D has been entrusted with two 765kV double circuit transmission line projects. These projects are vital for the evacuation of power from the Jaisalmer/Barmer <keyword id="21873922" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Renewable-Energy-Zone" source="keywords">Renewable Energy Zone</keyword> in Rajasthan, channelling it to substations in Madhya Pradesh for further distribution. This initiative is a step towards harnessing and utilising renewable energy resources efficiently within the country. On the international front, Saudi Arabia continues its pursuit of sustainable and efficient power supply by bolstering its 380kV network in the central region. L&amp;T's PT&amp;D has secured orders to construct a 380kV substation and 380kV overhead line segments. These developments are crucial for enhancing the region's <keyword id="21644086" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="electricity-infrastructure" source="keywords">electricity infrastructure</keyword> and ensuring a stable power supply. In the United Arab Emirates, L&amp;T's PT&amp;D has been awarded contracts to build a 220kV substation and three 132kV substations. These substations will be pivotal in meeting the growing electricity demand in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, supporting the utilities in maintaining a robust and reliable power network. Larsen &amp; Toubro, a USD 27 billion Indian multinational, is a prominent player in EPC projects, hi-tech manufacturing, and services with a global footprint. <ul><li><keyword id="2535680" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="LT-Technology" source="Orion">L&amp;T Technology</keyword> Services Limited on Wednesday reported 22 per cent revenue <keyword id="42546" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="growth" source="Orion">growth</keyword>.</li><li>For the fourth quarter of FY23, the pure-play engineering services company recorded Rs 2,096 crore, a growth of 19 per cent YoY.</li></ul>New Delhi, L&amp;T Technology Services Limited on Wednesday reported 22 per cent revenue growth at Rs 8,014 crore for the FY23. The net <keyword id="6362247" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="profit" source="Orion">profit</keyword> for the fiscal year was Rs 1,170 crore, also a 22 per cent jump (on-year). For the fourth quarter of FY23, the pure-play engineering services company recorded Rs 2,096 crore, a growth of 19 per cent YoY, with a net profit of more than Rs 309 crore, a 18 per cent growth. During the quarter, LTTS won a $40 million deal and three $10 million plus total contract value (TCV) deals. "FY23 was a landmark year for us as we crossed a billion dollars in revenue run rate and Rs 1,000 crore in annual profits. Our EBIT margin was the highest ever at 18.5 per cent driven by a strong focus on building a robust and sustainable operating model," said Amit Chadha, CEO and Managing Director, L&amp;T Technology Services Ltd. The combination of steady growth and expanding operating margin has led to an 18 per cent CAGR in profits over the last 5 years, he added. At the end of Q4 FY23, the patents portfolio of L&amp;T Technology Services stood at 1,090, out of which 727 are co-authored with its customers and the rest are filed by LTTS. The company currently has 22,233 employees. LTTS's customer base includes 69 Fortune 500 companies and 57 of the world's top ER&amp;D companies, across industrial products, medical devices, transportation, telecom &amp; hi-tech, and the process industries. "We are optimistic about the future and look for another year of strong growth as we partner with the top ER&amp;D companies globally in developing next generation products", said Chadha. L&T Technology Services logs 22% growth in revenue, net profit in FY23

Breslow's thread details how he founded Bolt and worked to transform the once-struggling payments startup into a decacorn with an $11 billion valuation. He attributed the company's success to perseverance and a strong team. But argued that the first seven years of building the startup were made even harder since YC favored Stripe, an early graduate of the accelerator's program, and pushed it more heavily to investors that it had existing relationships with. Breslow claimed that because YC could promote Stripe to its fellow alumni companies for payments, Bolt was effectively shut out from gaining them as a partner. He also claimed that Stripe and YC co-run Hacker News, a social news website operated by YC.Breslow's Twitter thread attracted thousands of shares and comments, with many praising his bravery for speaking out against what some feel to be a rigged marketplace. However, several of Breslow's claims have been disproven by those responding to his thread. He claimed that ride-hailing company Lyft chose Stripe for its payment processing because they were both YC companies, though Lyft wasn't in the accelerator's program (Breslow has since added a correction.) He also did not initially acknowledge that WePay, another payment fintech startup, was in the same YC cohort as Stripe, undermining his claim that YC does not back the company's competitors. Other well-known VCs like Sequoia's Shaun MacGuire fired back against Breslow, claiming that the main reason Breslow struggled to find investors was that his metrics were underperforming those of his competitors. And many questioned Breslow's motivation for posting such an inflammatory thread and how it could look to Bolt's investors. Breslow and Y Combinator could not be reached for comment. The onboarding of over 3,000 graduate and postgraduate engineering trainees in the ongoing fiscal marks a more than three-fold rise as against 1,067 trainees last fiscal. The number of female engineers hired has more than quadrupled to 1,009 trainees in FY23 from 248 trainees in FY22, L&amp;T said in a statement. "It is worth noting that 30 per cent of current batch of fresh engineers are women which is commendable given the fact that 75 per cent of the fresh engineers are hired from mechanical, civil and electrical streams where women candidates are less. "Currently, women employees comprise 7.6 per cent of the total workforce at L&amp;T, and they have already successfully forayed into fields long considered to be male bastions," company's Executive Vice President &amp; Head, Corporate Human Resource C Jayakumar said.
