The Entero Healthcare Solutions had received only 9% subscription on its first day. While the IPO was fully subscribed, non-institutional investors (NIIs) did not fully subscribe to the shares reserved for them. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) stepped in on the final day to subscribe to the IPO. The company had fixed the price band at ₹1,195 to ₹1,258 per equity share for its public offer which closed on Tuesday, February 13. The minimum bid quantity was set at 38 equity shares and in multiples of 38 equity shares thereafter. While the total issue size is ₹1,600 crore, it includes a fresh issue of shares worth ₹1,000 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of shares worth ₹600 crore. Ahead of the IPO, the company raised ₹716.4 crore from anchor investors. Of the total IPO size, 75% was reserved for QIBs, 15% for NIIs and 10% for retail individual investors. The company’s IPO consists of a fresh issue of shares worth ₹530 crore and an offer for sale by promoters and shareholders worth ₹327 crore. Kaynes Technology is an internet-of-things (IoT) solutions-enabled integrated electronics manufacturing company. Kaynes Technology also offers product engineering and IoT solutions to industries as well as common users. Kaynes Technology said that it has 313 customers in 20 countries. These customers are from multiple industries, including automotive, aerospace and defence, railways, medical, industrial and IT. Kaynes Technology notes that in Q1 FY23, its top ten customers contributed to nearly 63% of the total revenue. The company’s dependence on these top ten customers was lower in FY22, when they contributed only 51% to its topline. The grey market premium (GMP) of the company’s shares are at ₹75 per share. The ₹3,042 crore issue from the House of Tatas has attracted a record number of applications. The QIB portion of the issue was subscribed 200 times over the shares on offer. In comparison, non-institutional and retail investors’ interest paled in comparison as these quotas were subscribed 62 times and 16 times respectively. The engineering research and development (eR&amp;D) company is a subsidiary of Tata Motors, which is its promoter as well as an anchor client along with Jaguar Land Rover. Its expertise goes beyond automotive where it has skills, and caters to all manufacturing clients. It’s keen on the aviation and the EV sector too. This market of global outsourced ER&amp;D market was estimated to be around $105-110 billion in 2022. Most analysts are undeterred by the fact that it’s a complete offer for sale, as they believe investors are keen on taking part in a high-quality growth business. “At upper price band of ₹500 and based on annualised earnings and fully diluted post-IPO paid-up capital, the issue is asking for a market cap of ₹20,283 crore with P/E of 29x on consolidated basis, which seems the issue is reasonably priced when compared industry peers which are trading 60x. Despite 100% OFS offer investors are keen to own the share based on group legacy,” said Prashanth Tapse, Sr VP of research at Mehta Equities. IDBI Capital too said that the company has good earnings growth potential. “With the gradual recovery in the global economy, rising manufacturing capex and shift in manufacturing from US/Europe/China to India due to cost inflation and China+1 strategy, we are expecting strong in the TTECH’s financial performance in the coming years,” said a report by Ventura. The grey market too is expecting 70% listing gains from its debut.

It had low-capacity utilisation in the last three fiscal years. Its success is also dependent on the long-term relationship with its customers and is heavily reliant on its top 10 customers. Moreover, it does not generally enter into long-term contracts with customers, which exposes the company to risks emanating from the inability to retain the established customers as the clients. “Loss of all or a substantial portion of sales to any of the top 10 customers, for any reason could have a material adverse impact on its business, results of operations, financial condition and cash flows,” the company said.

Kaynes Technology is a Mysore-based internet-of-things (IoT) solutions-enabled integrated electronics manufacturing company. Founded in 1989 and incorporated in 2008, Kaynes Technology’s issue includes a fresh issue of equity shares worth ₹530 crore, and an offer for sale of 5.6 million shares. The company’s business ranges from offering built-to-specification products, manufacturing printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA), to making smart meters, smart street lights and more. Kaynes Technology also offers product engineering and IoT solutions to industries as well as common users. It currently has eight manufacturing facilities spread across five states, including one design centre and two service centres. Overall, the company had a combined capacity of manufacturing 600 million components at the end of December 2021. Anand Rathi said, “it is fairly priced considering its decent historical growth, strong revenue visibility and growing demand of automation across underlying industries.” Besides, Angel One broking had raised concerns about the fact that the company was generating a majority of its revenue from its top 10 customers only. It had recommended a ‘Neutral’ rating on the issue.
