Taking to Instagram, <keyword id="2136" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="imran" source="Orion">Imran</keyword> Khan shared a screenshot of a post he wrote on Threads which reads, "To whom it may concern; I hear you. And I'm working on it. Thank you for being so patient with me." A fan joked that they wanted 'Luck 2'. Imran is not very active on social media and his latest post has raised fans' excitement about his acting comeback. Soon after she shared the post, fans flooded the comment section with red hearts and fire emoticons. "Jaane Tu - 2, I hate luv stories - 2, Break ke baad - 2 pleaseeeeeeee," a fan commented. Another fan wrote, "Laut aao Imran mazak nahi raha ab ye." "Please give us another romcom," a user wrote. Imran made his foray into acting with the hit film '<keyword id="17445" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="jaane-tu-ya-jaane-na" source="Orion">Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na</keyword>' in 2008. The audience was crazy about Imran Khan and he had a lot of female fans in the late 2000s and early 2010s -- all thanks to his charming looks. Did Imran Khan confirm his Bollywood comeback?

The reigning queen of <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword>, <keyword id="2201" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kangana-Ranaut">Kangana Ranaut</keyword>, had always been vocal about her wish of experimenting with other aspects of movie-making rather than just focusing on acting. 
 
For her love of cinema, the actress even did a short course in screenplay writing from New York Film Academy. Looks like the dream has come true for the Tanu Weds Manu Returns star, who has gone behind the camera for her upcoming film <keyword id="2218524" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Katti-Batti">Katti Batti</keyword>, co-starring <keyword id="14676" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Imran-Khan">Imran Khan</keyword>. 
 
The first seven minutes of the movie have been directed by the actress who took the blessings of cinematographer Tushar Kantiray before using the camera, and offered him Re 1 as shagun for his blessings. 
 
The scene was one of Advani’s favorite scenes from the screenplay, in which Kangana’s character is shooting Imran with an iPad. For authenticity, Tushar suggested that Kangana shoots the scene herself, and the Kal Ho Naa Ho director was very happy with the way Kangana handled the camera. Way to go girl!!

Now, Kangana turns director for Katti Batti

The world hasn’t gotten over Tanu and Datto yet, but <keyword id="2201" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kangana-Ranaut">Kangana Ranaut</keyword> doesn’t want to stop there. The girl, who is at the pinnacle of her career after the stupendous success of her latest release Tanu Weds Manu Returns, would once again be seen in two avatars. However, this time, we would see her as Payal and Bijlee in <keyword id="6412743" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Nikhil-Advani">Nikhil Advani</keyword>’s next love story <keyword id="2218524" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Katti-Batti">Katti Batti</keyword>. 
 The movie also stars <keyword id="14676" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Imran-Khan">Imran Khan</keyword> who has been missing from action since 2013 when his Gori Tere Pyaar Mein was released. Talking about Katti Batti, not much has been revealed about the plot of the movie, other than the fact that it’s going to be a love story. The shooting of the movie began in September last year, and Kangana was heard praising the idea and philosophy of the movie.

Kangana in a double role again; this time in Katti Batti

The first trailer of UTV Motion Picture’s upcoming movie Katti Batti has been released, and it’s a three-minute-long wild ride of madness and emotions. The pairing of <keyword id="2201" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kangana-Ranaut">Kangana Ranaut</keyword> and <keyword id="14676" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Imran-Khan">Imran Khan</keyword> looks unusual, but that is the demand of the story, which has been helmed by Kal Ho Naa Ho fame <keyword id="6412743" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Nikhil-Advani">Nikhil Advani</keyword>. 
 
Featuring a commitment-phobic spoilt brat Payal and a lover nerd Maddy, this story, which subtly hints at how the essence of love has changed over the years, focuses on the new-age romance and break-ups. In the trailer, Imran Khan, who dons the role of a geek Madhav Kabra, was seen falling for a bombshell Payal, played by Kangana Ranaut. Madhav, luckily, manages to woo her and they both even start living together. But after a 5-year-long relationship, this couple eventually had a break up because of petty issues like bathroom hygiene. 
 
While Kangana is at her wild best in the movie, handing over packets of birth protection to the landlord just to show that they want to rent a flat to raise kids; Imran plays the usual, soft-hearted guy who is hopelessly in love with a girl who has an exact opposite personality. 
 
The trailer showcases a possible suicide attempt, some tear shedding, and even the alcoholic drinking act while sitting in a bathtub, and all these were done by Imran. Kangana, who manages to look careless, comes across as someone who doesn’t take 5 minutes to break off a 5-year-long live-in relationship.

Besides several news reports, a thunderstorm tattoo inked on her right leg also hints the same. 
 
This movie is scheduled to be released on September 18, 2015.

He has also acted in films such as Akshay Kumar's "Gabbar is Back" and a Marathi film titled "Mogra Phulaalaa".Before he made his acting debut in 2015 with Zee TV's "Kumkum Bhagya", he was practising medicine in Maharashtra's Konkan region.Five years ago, Gokhale shifted base to Mumbai where he started acting in both films and on TV, while straddling a job at a private hospital in suburban Juhu."Before lockdown I would go for shoots during day time and in the night I come to a multi-speciality hospital. I last shot for a TV show on March 14. I miss being on sets, the moment between 'roll camera and action' was magical."But I am in the role of Dr Ashish now. I don't have to take effort to be in this role. I have learnt it for five-and-half years and done practice too. Because of the coronavirus, I am into this 24x7. I want to save people. They are the front workers today, they are risking their lives. Now the doctor is God. I remember whenever I would introduce myself as Dr Ashish, people would say not-so-good things about doctors. "There is an opinion that doctors fool patients to undergo several tests just for money. It was a thankless job. After a few days when everything is sorted, doctors will again be treated the way they were earlier."Gokhale said he pursued theatre in his student years but got into medicine because of his doctor parents.The actor said his father was completely against his acting career but later allowed him to go to Mumbai, the city of dreams."He finally did give me permission to come to Mumbai and said 'I will have to grow on my own'. The last time we heard Salman singing was for the song Hangover, from the movie Kick. However, it’s for the first time that Salman has sung for someone else, and in fact, he is the only Bollywood actor of his times to have done so. Salman Khan lends his voice to protégé Sooraj Pancholi for Hero

June is at the fag end and we almost have a mid-year report card of Bollywood. Though the year started on a dismal note, it picked up towards May and June. 
 
This year, January was like a drought month and even movies starring big names did not interest the audience. As Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha starrer-'Tevar'- failed to take off, even the Horrex (horror + sex) formula did not work out for ‘Alone’ and ‘Khamoshiyan’. 
 
Other movies that released in January and failed to make a mark included Sonam Kapoor-starrer ‘Dolly Ki Doli’, 'Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene', ‘Crazy Cukkad Family’, ‘Hawaizaada’ among others. 
 
The only respite that the Bollywood lovers got was from Akshay Kumar’s ‘Baby’, which also became the first movie of 2015 to enter the Rs 100 crore club. 
 
But the jinx did not end in January as February continued to bring more bad news for the industry. 
 
The big shocker came in the form of ‘Shamitabh’. The movie, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush, was directed by R Balki, the maker who has given us movies like Pa and Cheeni Kum. 
 
Later in the month, ‘Roy’ released, which recorded a good start but by weekend the movie fizzled out. Most trade pundits pegged the crucial India-Pakistan match at the World Cup as the reason for the drop of sales on Sunday but the movie could not recover much post this phase also because of negative word of mouth. 
 
Thankfully, later in the same month we had movies like ‘Badlapur’ and ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’. Both managed to gather decent collections at the Box Office. In fact, ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ was a complete surprise package and managed to pull crowds even in its third week . 
 
March threw a mixed bag as Anushka Sharma starrer 'NH-10' received critical acclaim. April again was a dry month as Bollywood had nothing to offer that could have clicked with the Bolly buffs. 
 
However, Bollywood saw a turnaround in May. It started on a high note with Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Gabbar is Back’, which went to collect Rs 86.55 crore at the Box Office. This was followed by Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan’s 'Piku', which struck a right chord with the audience and collected Rs 111 crore worldwide. 
 
Later in the month, Kangana Ranaut wowed the audience with her spectacular acting in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. As per reports, the movie managed to collect Rs 190.87 crore worldwide. Given that the movie was made with Rs 31 crore budget, it stood out and is the most profitable movie of 2015 till date. 
 
But, the disappointment came from ‘Bombay Velvet’. Everybody had high hopes from Ranbir Kapoor’s flick but it fell flat. 
 
The momentum seems to continue with ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ and ‘ABCD 2’. ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ has managed Rs 37.05 crore in the first weekend and is holding the fort well. Also ABCD 2, sequel of ABCD, managed to get the biggest opening for 2015 and continues to do a good business over the week. 
 
The later half will see a slew of big- starrer movies such as Salman Khan starrer ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, Vikas Bahl of Queen fame’s ‘Shaandaar’, ‘Singh is Bling’ featuring Akshay Kumar, Nikhil Advani’s ‘Katti Batti’, Aishwarya Rai’s comeback movie ‘Jazbaa’ and also ‘Dilwale’ in which fans will see Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol paired together. In addition, there will also be a third installment of ‘Hate Story’, ‘Hera Pheri’ and ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum’ to look forward to. 
 
Commenting on the movie sentiment of 2015, Komal Nahata, Trade Analyst shared, “It has been a good 2015 so far. Sure there were some upsets in the start of the year but May has been extremely kind and the rest of the year looks really promising." 
 
We hope that the forthcoming movies get the cash ringer buzzing for Bollywood and we continue to see some entertaining movies in the latter half of the year.
