The National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1933 and was later upgraded to a National Park in 1955. The Barasingha is also the state animal of Madhya Pradesh. Aniruddha Mookerjee, who spent over two decades in conservation with organisations like the <keyword id="94109" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Wildlife-Trust-of-India">Wildlife Trust of India</keyword>, World Animal Protection and the University of Oxford, among others firmly believes, “Kanha is perhaps the best-managed tiger reserve in India and can be counted among those across the world that provide a superlative wildlife experience to the visitor. The forest is also home to leopards, Indian fox, sloth bear, wolves, wild boars, hyenas, jackals, macaques, langurs and Indian wild dogs (dhole). The Indian roller, owlets, scarlet minivet, Indian pitta and black hooded oriole are some of the birds that call the forest home. The River Banjaar runs through Kanha and is the key source of water for flora and fauna here. The Park was originally inhabited by two indigenous tribes — the Gonds and the Baigas — thus, it was called the Gondwanas (“land of the Gonds''). Safaris: Kanha can be accessed via three gates — the Khatia Gate, Mukki, and Sarhi. Of these, Khatia is the most popular and therefore the busiest. There are two primary safari timings — sunrise to 11:00 AM and 02:00 PM to sunset. However, the morning safaris usually reap the most amount of sightings. “The safari experience itself is one of the best since you get an exclusive Gypsy (a vehicle) along with a local guide and driver who have a keen sense of ownership and provide visitors with an intimate glimpse into the lives of the Park’s wild denizens. The social networking platform also took down a video where Maduro touted Carvativir, a homeopathic remedy extracted from the herb thyme which is also used in ordinary cooking, The <keyword id="6765301" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Verge">Verge</keyword> reported on Saturday. The Venezuelan President earlier termed the solution as "miracle drops" and a "medical breakthrough." These promotions of the solution whose efficacy is not proven came at a time when <keyword id="2723" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Venezuela">Venezuela</keyword> lagged far behind many other countries in procuring vaccines against Covid-19. Maduro's claims that Carvatavir can treat Covid-19 has been termed "dangerous" by doctors in the country, said the report. In defence of its move to freeze the Venezuelan President's page, a Facebook spokesperson told The Verge the platform follows guidance from the <keyword id="43588" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="World-Health-Organization">World Health Organization</keyword> (WHO) which says there is no cure for Covid-19. "Due to repeated violations of our rules, we are also freezing the page for 30 days, during which it will be read-only," the spokesperson was quoted as saying. Slack CEO Stewart Butterfield discussed the <keyword id="11009256" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="new-features-last-week">new features last week</keyword> with SignalFire investor Josh Constine in a Clubhouse interview. While Slack already has a lot of services, it has predominantly been text-based so far. The new emphasis on video and audio features comes at a time when hybrid work mode has gained traction amid the pandemic and it is expected that such a work culture could continue even after the pandemic is over. The video feature that Slack is trying to build into the app will not compete with Zoom or Microsoft Teams, TechCrunch reported on Saturday. Instead, the focus would be more on offering experience similar to Instagram or Snapchat Stories. Similarly, Slack is working on building audio feature which could offer experience for enterprises similar to what the app Clubhouse offers users. Slack Chief Product Officer Tamar Yehoshua in a blog post last week provided some details about the new features. "We need to reduce team fatigue while improving belonging. To help with this, we are piloting ways to shift meetings toward an asynchronous video experience that feels native in Slack. It allows us to express nuance and enthusiasm, without a meeting," she said. However, it is not clear when the new features will be made generally available. Cloud software firm Salesforce at the end of last year announced a pact to acquire Slack for $27.7 billion. The Chinese capital experienced strong winds on Sunday morning and visibility reduced to between 1 km and 2 km in most areas, according to Beijing's meteorological service. Zhang Linna, chief forecaster at the municipal meteorological station, said the dusty weather, featuring strong winds and thick dust, will last more than 12 hours but its intensity will be slightly weaker than the sandstorm seen on March 15, reports Xinhua news agency. The Beijing Municipal Ecological and Environmental Monitoring Center said the sandstorm was blown southward into China after striking Mongolia between Friday and Saturday. The sandstorm had already shrouded the <keyword id="2349553" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="entire-city">entire city</keyword> of Beijing by 7 a.m. on Sunday, with the PM 10 concentration surpassing 2,000 micrograms per cubic meter, according to the center. It predicted that the air pollution will alleviate on Sunday evening as the sandstorm subsides. Official data shows Beijing's sandstorm onslaughts peaked in the 1950s, when it recorded an average of 18 dusty days a year, but later subsided as afforestation in northern China picked up steam. In the first decade of the new century, the city logged an average of 0.6 dusty days per year. Chinese capital Beijing shrouded by another sandstorm, air quality turns to severely polluted

Titled 'Playing by new rules', the report said that with its current trajectory, the <keyword id="2345885" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="ME-sector">M&amp;E sector</keyword> in India is expected to reach ₹2.23 lakh crore ($30.6 billion) by 2023 at a CAGR of 17 per cent. In 2020 while the television continued to remain the largest segment, <keyword id="124571" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="digital-media">digital media</keyword> has overtaken print, and <keyword id="6422069" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="online-gaming">online gaming</keyword> has overtaken a disrupted filmed entertainment segment. The Indian media and entertainment sector has de-grown by 24 per cent to ₹1.38 trillion ($19 billion) in 2020. Digital media and online gaming were the only segments that grew in 2020 adding an aggregate of ₹2,600 crore. Other segments have de-grown by an aggregate of ₹46,700 billion. Dilip Chenoy, Secretary General FICCI, said that though the media and entertainment sector has been largely impacted by the pandemic, the positive news is that the digital subscription has grown by 49 per cent and the online gaming industry has grown by 18 percent. He further mentioned that different sectors of the media and entertainment industry will take different time to recover and this makes the report more crucial. Ashish Pherwani, Partner and Media &amp; Entertainment Leader, EY India, said the M&amp;E sector witnessed a shift in demand patterns as consumers actively sought alternatives and had the time to try new things. <keyword id="107096" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Tesla">Tesla</keyword> CEO <keyword id="6355315" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="elon-musk">Elon Musk</keyword> has now deleted a <keyword id="6354904" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="tweet">tweet</keyword> in which he claimed that electric car maker Tesla could be the <keyword id="4006725" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="biggest-company">biggest company</keyword> "in a few months". In reply to a follower's tweet, Musk last week said, "I think there is a &gt;0% (greater than zero per cent) chance Tesla could be the biggest company," added, "probably within a few months" in replies to followers. While the first part of the tweet which indicated that Tesla could become bigger than Apple is still intact, the second part of the tweet in which talked about the timeline is now gone. This is not the first time, however, that the tech billionaire has posted tweet which has caused controversy. Several targets that he had earlier posted in relation to the companies that he run were not achieved within the time frame that he mentioned. Musk, who has 49.7 million followers on Twitter, uses the microblogging platform to connect with his followers and also to make important announcements related to Tesla, SpaceX and his other ventures. However, not all his tweets have gone down well with the regulators and investors. The US National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) recently has told Tesla to tell Musk to delete an anti-union tweet he posted in 2018. Musk had tweeted: "Nothing stopping Tesla team at our car plant from voting union. Could do so tomorrow if they wanted. But why pay union dues &amp; give up stock options for nothing? Our safety record is 2X better than when plant was UAW &amp; everybody already gets healthcare". A <keyword id="3203884" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="food-preservative">food preservative</keyword> used to prolong the shelf life of Pop-Tarts, Rice Krispies Treats, Cheez-Its and almost 1,250 other popular processed <keyword id="6497080" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Foods">foods</keyword> may harm the <keyword id="31457" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="immune-system">immune system</keyword>, a new <keyword id="6355244" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="study">study</keyword> suggests. The findings showed that the preservative tert-butylhydroquinone, or TBHQ, has been found to harm the immune system both in both animal tests and in non-animal tests known as high-throughput in vitro toxicology testing. TBHQ is a preservative that is pervasive in processed foods. It has been used in foods for many decades and serves no function besides increasing a product's shelf life. Using new non-animal test results, the team found that TBHQ affected immune cell proteins at doses similar to those that cause harm in traditional studies. "The pandemic has focused public and scientific attention on environmental factors that can impact the immune system," said researcher Olga Naidenko from US-based Environmental Working Group. "Before the pandemic, chemicals that may harm the immune system's defense against infection or cancer did not receive sufficient attention from <keyword id="3306783" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Public-health-agencies">public health agencies</keyword>. To protect public health, this must change," Naidenko added. For the study, published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, the researchers used data from the <keyword id="62470" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Environmental-Protection-Agency">Environmental Protection Agency</keyword>'s Toxicity Forecaster, or ToxCast, to assess the health hazards of the most common chemicals added to food, as well as the "forever chemicals" known as PFAS, which can migrate to food from <keyword id="6359921" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="packaging">packaging</keyword>. They analyzed all publicly available studies that show how PFAS migrate to food from packaging materials or processing equipment. Earlier studies have found that TBHQ might influence how well flu vaccines work and may be linked to a rise in food allergies. Food preservative used in popular foods may harm immune system, says new study

<keyword id="6354427" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="apple">Apple</keyword> has started rolling out <keyword id="75489" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="IOS">iOS</keyword> 14.4.2, iPadOS 14.4.2 and the company issued an advisory to users to upgrade as soon as possible. The Apple security support page provides just a little more detail, explaining that it is a <keyword id="505097" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Webkit">Webkit</keyword> fix. The new update is available just three weeks after the release of iOS/iPadOS 14.4.1 and more than a month after the iOS/iPadOS 14.4 updates. The iOS and iPadOS 14.4.2 updates can be downloaded for free and the software is available on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app. To access the new software, go to Settings &gt; General &gt; Software Update. In addition, the Cupertino-based tech giant has also started rolling out watchOS 7.3.3 update. All four software updates (iOS 14.4.2, iPadOs 14.4.2, iOS 12.5.2, and watchOS 7.3.3) should already be available to all users of supported devices right now. Recently, Apple revealed that the iOS 14 installation has increased to 86 per cent of <keyword id="57315" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="iPhones">iPhones</keyword> introduced in the last four years. Apple rolls out iOS, iPadOS 14.4.2 with Webkit security fix

<keyword id="2688212" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Adani-Transmission-Ltd">Adani Transmission Ltd</keyword> on Saturday said it has entered into a pact with <keyword id="987578" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Essel-Infraprojects">Essel Infraprojects</keyword> to acquire Warora-Kurnool Transmission Ltd (WKTL) for an <keyword id="174605" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="enterprise-value">enterprise value</keyword> of ₹3,370 crore. The acquisition is in sync with <keyword id="76451" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Adani">Adani</keyword> Transmission's strategy to enhance the value for its stakeholders, through organic as well as inorganic opportunities, ATL said in a statement. ATL, India's <keyword id="11007517" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="largest-private-sector-power-transmission">largest private sector power transmission</keyword> and retail distribution company, has signed definitive agreements with Essel Infraprojects Limited (EIL) for the acquisition, it said. The regulatory approval for substitution of original awardee in the contract by ATL has already been received from the <keyword id="103658" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Central-Electricity-Regulatory-Commission">Central Electricity Regulatory Commission</keyword>. The lenders consent and other necessary regulatory approvals shall be obtained before closure of transaction, the company said. With this acquisition, which is valued at an enterprise value of ₹3,370 crore, the cumulative network of ATL will reach 17,200 ckt km (circuit kilometres), out of which 12,350 ckt km is already operational and 4,850 ckt km (including this asset) is in various stages of execution. With this enhanced scale of operations, ATL will enjoy substantial benefits in terms of cost optimisation and shared resources and will also fortify its position of being the largest private sector transmission company in the country, the statement said. Anil Sardana, MD and CEO, Adani Transmission Ltd, said, "The acquisition of WKTL will bolster ATL's pan-India presence, consolidating further its position as the largest private sector transmission company in India. This strategic West to South 765 KV interconnector with Substation in Southern India, completes ATL presence in all regions of the country." This asset will not only increase ATL's size and scale but will also take ATL closer to its target of setting up 20,000 ckt km of transmission lines by 2022, he said. "The acquisition is a further demonstration of ATL's drive towards differentiated capability through inorganic growth, successful integration &amp; making such assets value accretive, for long term sustainable value creation for its stakeholders," Sardana said. Warora-Kurnool Transmission Ltd will develop, operate and maintain transmission lines aggregating to 1,750 ckt km. The 765 kV inter-state transmission line links Warora-<keyword id="6357155" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="warangal">Warangal</keyword> and Chilakaluripeta-Hyderabad-Kurnool with a 765/400 kV new sub-station at Warangal. The project was awarded through competitive bidding process on a build, own, operate, maintain basis.
