The 45-year-old actor made a comeback this year after his last release Kaabil in 2017 flopped. The movie was followed up by War which earned over ₹300 crore. “Hrithik is the most voted for star since the list was founded 16 years ago and consistently shown there is more to him than the Greek God looks, and physique,” said Asjad Nazir, the author at Eastern Eye. Roshan was written off by critics after three of his big budget movies had flopped in the last five years. Apart from Kaabil, movies like Mohenjo Daro in 2016 and Bang Bang in 2014 did not ring the cash registers. This year however, Roshan is the top star of the year as his movies earned a massive ₹500 crore. <keyword id="6355887" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Shahid-Kapoor">Shahid Kapoor</keyword> comes in second The next actor on the list Shahid Kapoor also made a comeback this year with a controversial yet popular movie, Kabir Singh. Television actor <keyword id="6387401" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Vivian-Dsena">Vivian Dsena</keyword> ranked third while Roshan’s co-actor in War -- Tiger ,Shroff made his debut on the list at the fourth place <keyword id="644619" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="British-Asian">British Asian</keyword> popstar Zayn Malik came in at the fifth position. “The men featured in 2019 were connected by the fact they all went beyond their stardom and looks to make a positive impact. That is what really sexiness is about and why this list connects with millions around the world,” said Nazir. Besides Roshan, the top 10 list is dominated by actors and singers except Indian cricket captain <keyword id="6354486" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="virat-kohli">Virat Kohli</keyword>, who was ranked seventh.

 Avengers: Endgame which is the top international grosser ever, had easily pulled it off, as it made ₹400 crore in India. War also did more business than Padmaavat — the second highest grosser of 2018, reported Business Today. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer Padmaavat recorded a lifetime box office collection of ₹302.15 crore. War is now among the sixth highest grosser so far. The first five highest grosser hindi films are Baahubali 2, Dangal, Sanju, PK, Tiger Zinda Hai, Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
