It’s been a long shoot for the team of <keyword id="22746" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="rohit-shetty">Rohit Shetty</keyword>’s upcoming movie <keyword id="1665132" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Dilwale">Dilwale</keyword>; they have been shooting in different parts of the world, amidst challenging weather conditions in Iceland and Bulgaria for over 140 days now. However, much to the relief of the cast and crew who must have started missing home by now, the shoot is in its last leg now, hinting at the ‘beginning of the end’.

Red Chillies Entertainment, <keyword id="1671" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shah-Rukh-Khan">Shah Rukh Khan</keyword>’s production house, shared a video on YouTube yesterday, allowing us to peek into the action that is happening behind the camera in the ongoing shoot. 
 
The climax is a wedding sequence, and everybody looks dapper, clad in suits, sarees and gowns. From the little that we get to see in the small clip, we can judge that the climax would show the characters of Varun Sharma and Chetna Pande getting married in a church and every other actor happily joining them in the celebration. 
 
What catches our eye, however, is that unlike every other Rohit Shetty’s movie, Dilwale doesn’t have an action-packed ending with cars flying in the air and the hero beating the goons to pulp. Instead, it’s a very sweet and happy ending, albeit not showing any of the lead pairs of SRK-Kajol or Varun-Kriti getting married, but that’s the beauty of a multi-starrer; you never know which character takes the lead. Actor <keyword id="1586498" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sanjai-Mishra">Sanjai Mishra</keyword> tickles the funny bones with his unusual beard, and Boman Irani teases our eyes with his bright yellow blazer. From his end, the comic is raising funds through 'Vir Das At Home' where he performs for an audience online."We are going to need to smile now more than ever and for a while. If you're a funny person, this is the time to do your job. The best you've ever done it... I'm trying to focus on fundraising. I'm doing a show every night on Zoom call where the proceeds are going to different charities. "This lockdown won't affect the privileged as much. We have got to do our part. So my main focus during the lockdown is to try and raise money," Das told .Before the pandemic brought everything to a standstill, Das had planned a world tour of 29 countries, which naturally got pushed.There has been a lot of conversation about how the way people consume entertainment stands to change post coronavirus. As a comic, who is used to performing in front of a large gathering, Das feels the impact will be there for sometime, but eventually, the urge to laugh will gather people together."Those are the things that come and go. From court jesters, impressionists, Jaspal Bhatti, Johnny Lever to us and the people who come after us, the urge to sit in a room and laugh with each other together, will always find a way back. That I'm not so worried about."The actor is currently gearing up for the release of the Netflix series, "Hasmukh", co-created by Das and filmmaker Nikkhil Advani.The series features Das in the titular role of a young man from Saharanpur, who has to kill people off stage to perform better on stage. The actor had written a pilot, nearly three years ago, and taken it to the "Kal Ho Naa Ho" director who felt it was funny but needed "more darkness and gravity."Together, they worked on it for six-seven months, got it green-lit and then ran a writers room. "Comedy isn't so much about telling jokes, it's about being yourself and telling jokes. 'Hasmukh' is this awkward, shy, man who has a lot of anger inside him. Which is who I was when I got into comedy, except I don't murder people. "But the first time I got a laugh was when I went on stage and yelled at a bunch of people. I was 22, life wasn't going well, I couldn't make rent, girls weren't talking to me and I yelled out all of that stuff."The series, directed by Nikhil Gonsalves, also features Ranvir Shorey, Manoj Pahwa, Ravi Kishan, Amrita Bagchi, Suhail Nayyar, Inaamulhaq and Raza Murad.With "Hasmukh", the 40-year-old "Go Goa Gone" actor got a chance to create a lot of the characters and deep dive in the "outrageous" universe of the show."I got to write them as really loud characters. Nikkhil really led me on 'Hasmukh.' We decided that I would be the in-charge of who Hasmukh is on stage and Nikkhil gets to shape who he is off stage. "He's a passive, underconfident character surrounded by these loud maniacs. That's what makes him frustrated and pop when he murders. He's only ever free when he murders or is on stage." Writing the show was a challenge on multiple levels for Das as Hasmukh is "diametrically opposite" to the comic. "He's a small town boy, a Hindi comedian. Also, to write for an artiste who doesn't know his voice yet. He's a terrible comedian, he's clueless. It's a very outrageous universe for a show."When I first came to Mumbai, I was a writer on various GEC (General Entertainment Channels) comedy and award shows. So a lot of it is also based on what I saw- the big, glamorous GEC world of those. Jokes that no one would laugh at In 2015, Bhuvan was yet another college boy who used to sing at a restaurant for ₹3,000 a night. The natural performer also believed he could tell funny stories though nobody in his family would laugh at them. One day, he decided to post a 15 second video — that mocked the media for their insensitive question in Kashmir floods — on his Facebook page. “A reporter was asking this lady ‘How do you feel, (now) that you’ve lost your son?’ It was a silly question. I couldn’t control myself. I had to make a satire of it,” says Bam. He decided to post some more. Fans from Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh Success did not come instantly. The first few videos received a mere 15 views. Gradually, that 15 turned to 300 and he shot to fame in his college and others. To his surprise, he built a fanbase in Karachi University. But India was still unaware of him. “India took a lot of time to warm up to my videos!” He moved from Facebook to Youtube after a friend suggested monetising what he was doing. The Karan Johar of Youtube Bam managed to get the attention of people after his video “Valentine’s Week Hutiyapa” went viral in 2016. He even got a million subscribers to his Youtube channel in 7 months. Since then, Bam experimented a lot - right from dancing to singing. He also co-produced a movie Plus minus. Soon, he became an influencer and endorsed as many as 30 brands until April 2019. He is now the face of Lenskart. His success lies in his no-cost production strategy. He created 16 characters and acted for all of them. He shoots his videos himself, edits and posts them himself. “I don’t spend a single penny on them. I take 15 to 16 days to come up with a video and do one or two videos a month. That’s a long time. Dilwale is amongst the most anticipated movies of the year, and there are a lot of reasons for that. <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Watch-Shah-Rukh-Khan-aiming-for-a-century-in-this-Facebook-video/articleshow/49659326.cms">Shah Rukh Khan</a> and <keyword id="6354713" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="kajol">Kajol</keyword>, both stars in their own right, are coming back together after a gap of 5 years. <keyword id="383666" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Varun-Dhawan">Varun Dhawan</keyword>, who is slowly paving his way to be the heartthrob of the nation, would be seen in a fresh pairing with Heropanti starrer <keyword id="210696" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kriti-Sanon">Kriti Sanon</keyword>, <keyword id="22746" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="rohit-shetty">Rohit Shetty</keyword> is directing a romantic film after the huge success of Chennai Express, and the film is shot in the most exotic locations of the world. 
 This all, and much more, was making all <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> cinephiles wait for the official trailer of the movie, which was finally released yesterday. 
 In his trademark style, a visibly younger <keyword id="1671" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shah-Rukh-Khan">Shah Rukh Khan</keyword> poses with his arms wide open, and is seen <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/SRK-Kajol-to-shoot-one-take-song-in-Dilwale-but-its-not-Bollywoods-first/articleshow/48654893.cms">running on water</a> along with Kajol. The scene moves 15 years ahead, and a bearded SRK, most probably a gangster, is ready to turn into a commoner for his younger brother Veer (Varun Dhawan) and his love interest Ishita (Kriti Sanon). 
 
In the flashback scenes, veterans Kabir Bedi and Vinod Khanna are seen pointing guns at each other. 
 
We also see Kajol playing Mira, the love interest of Khan, recounting how 15 years have passed since something significant happened between them, and how it changed their lives forever. This significant something is what makes the crux of the movie. What we think is that Bedi and Khanna would play respective fathers/relatives of either of the two main leads, and a war between them would separate the lovers for 15 years, only to be reunited because of their younger siblings, played by Dhawan and Sanon. 
 
Coming to the trailer, we see a lot of mean machines being driven on dangerous roads and defying gravity, in a true-blue Rohit Shetty style. 
 
The <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Heres-a-sneak-peek-into-the-climax-of-Dilwale/articleshow/49549912.cms">climax of the movie</a>, shot just a few days back, also makes its way into the trailer, and glimpses of Boman Irani, Sanjai Misra, Mukesh Tiwari, Pankaj Tripathi and Johnny Lever are seen. 
 
The movie looks like it would be a mix of two different worlds, one that belongs to Shah Rukh Khan in which love and family play a crucial role, and the other one that belongs to Rohit Shetty, in which we can’t help but see cars, dangerous action scenes, guns and gangsters. 
 
The trailer looks good when it comes to the cinematography; however, Varun’s expressions fail to establish any connect with the audience. Kriti Sanon looks okay so far, and <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/5-cult-romances-that-show-Kajol-SRK-are-the-best-paired-on-screen-couple/articleshow/47730374.cms">SRK-Kajol</a> are so experienced in their skill that their performance looks effortless.

Dilwale’s trailer is a riot!

When the name of the movie itself is “Entertainment”, then there are high expectations that the movie will do just that. The movie is named after a Golden Retriever, who plays a pivotal character in the movie and it comes as no surprise that the movie is getting a warm response from the Indian cinema viewers. 
 Girish Johar, Film Business expert says, “In the opening weekend <keyword id="4578" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="entertainment">Entertainment</keyword> has managed to rake in 32 crores and seems to be getting a good response even on Monday”. 
 
In addition, Entertainment has also earned the title of being Akshay Kumar’s sixth highest grossing film by collecting approximately Rs 11.57 crores on the first day. In the past, Once Upon At Time In Mumbai Dobaara had managed to garner Rs. 11.25 crores on opening day while Khiladi 786 had managed to collect Rs. 10.40 crores. Nevertheless, the title for the highest grossing Akshay Kumar is still secure with Rowdy Rathore that had collected Rs. 48.30 crore in its first weekend. 
 
Coming back to Entertainment, this movie has been declared this year’s eighth highest opening weekend grosser. The movie is currently trailing <keyword id="6354583" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Salman-Khan">Salman Khan</keyword>'s <keyword id="6362088" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="kick">Kick</keyword>, Jai Ho (Rs 60.68 crore), Ek Villain (Rs 50.70 crore), Gunday (Rs 43.93 crore), Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (Rs 41.32 crore), Humshakals (Rs 40.13) and 2 States (Rs 38.06 crore). 
 
Entertainment is directed by debutant duo Sajid-Farhad and is co-produced by Ramesh S. Taurani of Tips Industries Ltd and Jayantilal Gada. The movie that has been made on a budget of 80 crores also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Sonu Sood and Johnny Lever. 
 
Though Entertainment is enjoying its stint at the Box Office, things might not be as rosy for the movie going forward. On one hand, Salman Khan starer Kick continues to be strong, on the other hand there is <keyword id="2230269" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Singham-Returns">Singham Returns</keyword> releasing on August 15, 2014 . 
 
Kick, starring Salman Khan and <keyword id="6354417" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Jacqueline-Fernandez">Jacqueline Fernandez</keyword>, is currently in its third week and continues to be strong. “The movie has not just entered the Rs. 300 crore club but has also surpassed Chennai Express to become the second highest grosser movie,” observes Johar. 
 
So it will be interesting to see if Kick continues to rule at the Box office in its fourth weekend and whether or not Entertainment manages to break even as Ajay Devgan’s next big movie hits cinema screen in a few days.
