Directed by Tamil filmmaker Atlee, the pan-India film released on Thursday in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. It also stars Nayanthara and <keyword id="6354625" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="vijay-sethupathi" source="Orion">Vijay Sethupathi</keyword> as well as Deepika Padukone in a special appearance. Red Chillies Entertainment, the production house behind "Jawan", shared the India and the worldwide gross box office collection of the movie on X, formerly known as Twitter. "Highest single day collection ever. Rs 68.72 crore (Hindi). Rs 144.22 crore gross box office collection all languages," the note read. "Three-day worldwide gross box office collection Rs 384.69 crore," the banner said in another post. "Jawan" is a father-son story that addresses social and political issues through its hero, essayed by <keyword id="4546" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="shah-rukh" source="Orion">Shah Rukh</keyword>. At the worldwide box office, the high-octane action thriller collected Rs 129.6 crore on day one, making it the biggest opening day in the history of Hindi cinema globally, according to the makers. The film raised Rs 110.87 on day two and on the third day, it made Rs 144.22 crore. A Red Chillies Entertainment presentation, "Jawan" is produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Verma.

Filmmaker Karan Johar on Thursday dropped a rugged still with intense expression of King Khan on his Instagram story and captioned it, "Emperor." Helmed by Atlee, the film stars <keyword id="4546" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="shah-rukh" source="Orion">Shah Rukh</keyword> Khan, <keyword id="16829" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="nayanthara" source="Orion">Nayanthara</keyword> and <keyword id="6354625" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="vijay-sethupathi" source="Orion">Vijay Sethupathi</keyword> in the lead roles. On Thursday, Taran Adarsh shared that the film has already amassed an impressive Rs 51.17 crore in worldwide advance bookings, and it has managed to surpass the opening day record of 'Pathaan' in India. The film has been getting massive responses from all the fans as well as the critics. Fans celebrated the release like a festival with dhols, cake cutting, burning crackers and others. Delighted by the fans' response to 'Jawan', Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and penned down a heartfelt note. "Wow have to take time out and thank each and every Fan Club and all of you who have gone so happily in the theatres and even outside. So overwhelmed will surely do the needful as soon as I get my breath back in a day or so. Uff!! Love u for loving #Jawan," Khan said. For 'Jawan' promotions, SRK travelled to several places. He attended a grand pre-release event in Chennai. He also visited Dubai, where 'Jawan' trailer was displayed at Burj Khalifa. He also offered prayers at the revered shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in Jammu. Recently, he sought blessings at the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Tirupati. He was accompanied by his daughter Suhana and his manager Pooja Dadlani. Both SRK and Suhana were dressed in white ethnic outfits. His Jawan co-star Nayanthara, along with her husband Vignesh Shivan was also clicked at the temple. The King Khan stayed awake all night to check his fans' reactions to the film. A fan page dedicated to SRK shared a video in which could be se seen chanting "India ki shaan Shah Rukh Khan" in unison. The caption on the post read, "Its 5:35AM in the morning and we have started celebration for our historic 6AM and its MASS HYSTERIA as welcome the KING to the big screen." The 'prevue', as the makers dubbed the 2.12 minute long clip, showcases <keyword id="4546" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="shah-rukh" source="Orion">Shah Rukh</keyword> featuring in several death-defying stunts, songs and mouthing dialogues in his quintessential style. Directed by Atlee of "Theri" and "Mersal" fame, the upcoming pan-India movie also features <keyword id="16829" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="nayanthara" source="Orion">Nayanthara</keyword> and <keyword id="6354625" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="vijay-sethupathi" source="Orion">Vijay Sethupathi</keyword>. The trailer comes just seven days ahead of the Atlee directorial's release in three languages -- Hindi, Tamil and Telugu -- possibly the first instance for any mainstream movie. "Of Justice &amp; A Jawan. Of Women &amp; their Vengeance. Of a Mother &amp; A Son. And of course, a lot of Fun!!!
