Chandigarh, Three more tested positive in <keyword id="6354953" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="punjab">Punjab</keyword> on Wednesday, taking the total number of cases to 44, officials said. Of these, two are residents of Mohali, while one is of <keyword id="81623" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Jagatpura">Jagatpura</keyword> village -- both located on the outskirts of the state capital Chandigarh. With these, the total number of cases in the district rose to 10, said an official. Both Mohali residents are relatives of an NRI couple of Chandigarh, who was recently tested diagnosed positive. They are the grandmother and daughter of the couple. "Three more positive cases in the district -- close contacts of Chandigarh positive cases. Quarantined and contact tracing on. Jaipur, Apr 22 () A group of civil servants in Rajasthan is providing face masks to the frontline workers and the needy amid the COVID-19 pandemic.Regar Officers' Club, a group of 130 officials who are in various all India and state services, has provided masks to police personnel deputed in Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Sikar and Jhunjhunu districts, a member of the club said on Wednesday.He said the group has also given face masks to cleaners and other staff of Jaipur Municipal Corporation and health workers of Kanwatia hospital.Besides, Regar Officers' Club also donated Rs 1.01 lakh to the chief minister's relief fund, the member said.President of Regar Officers' Club, Jai Narayan Sher, said 600 dry ration kits have also been distributed to the poor in Girdharipura, Sirsi, Jagatpura, Jhotwada, Ambedakar Nagar and Jaipur."Policemen, medical and health staff and staff of municipal corporation are continuously doing duty and they are in high risk therefore we focused on providing them help," Sher, an IPS officer posted as DIG Crime, said.The group has distributed 8,500 masks so far, he added. The 19-year-old Lekhara, competing in her debut Games, qualified second for the event with a score of 1176, including 51 inner 10s. In the fiercely contested finals, Lekhara totalled 445.9 to finish ahead of Ukraine's Iryna Shchetnik, who let slip her grip on the medal spot with a poor third shot of 9.9 in the elimination. Lekhara had become the first Indian woman to win a Paralympic gold by claiming the top honours in the 10m air rifle standing SH1 event. That was also the first ever shooting medal that India had won in the Games. "It was a tough final but I'm happy to have made it into bronze. I could have done better than this. It's just what finals do to you," Lekhara said about her performance. "It is an amazing experience to win two medals in my first Paralympic Games. These two are my pet events. I was really working hard for these two for so many months. I gave my 100 per cent in the last shot." "There are a lot of things on which I have to work, and I will definitely do better than this next time. There were a lot of distractions but I gave my 100 per cent to this," she added, referring to the celebrations that followed her gold medal. The Jaipur-based shooter, who sustained spinal cord injuries in a car accident in 2012 rendering her immobile, had fired a world record equalling total of 249.6, which was also a new Paralympic record. Prior to her, Joginder Singh Sodhi was the lone Indian to win multiple medals in the same edition of the Games when he fetched one silver and two bronze medals in the 1984 Paralympics.
