Shares of <keyword id="120779" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Amtek-Auto">Amtek Auto</keyword> showed a shade of green for the first time in five days after the management said it would inject 75 crore rupees of equity on its own to partially offset a debt payment mismatch that saw the company's market cap erode as much as 64 percent in August. 
 Four days on intense selling abated on Amtek Auto and the stock jumped 6.5 percent to 67.85 rupees making it the top gainer on the <keyword id="145718" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="futures-and-options">Futures and Options</keyword> segment. A part of this gain could be attributed to short covering as traders buy back futures that they had sold earlier to square off the trade. Amtek's group companies weren't as lucky. 
 <keyword id="3008874" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Metalyst-Forgings">Metalyst Forgings</keyword>, <keyword id="2907719" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Castex-Technologies">Castex Technologies</keyword> and <keyword id="3011879" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="JMT">JMT</keyword> Auto all fell between 2.6 percent and 5 percent in Friday's deals. 
 
The Amtek group has been sitting on a debt pile of more than 15,000 crore rupees. Amtek Auto announced a disastrous set of quarterly numbers earlier in August, slipping in the red as sales in major geographies dropped. That prompted fears of a payment crisis on the financial costs side, leading to a sharp sell-off on the stock.

Shares of Amtek Auto are rising for the first time in five days

Debt-laden <keyword id="252427" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Amtek-Auto-Ltd-">Amtek Auto Ltd.</keyword>, which recently reported a tepid set of quarterly earnings, lost nearly a third of its market capitalisation on reasons that weren't immediately clear. Group companies Metalyst Auto and <keyword id="1722399" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="JMT-Auto">JMT Auto</keyword>, too, plunged in trade. Futures of Amtek, whose debt exceeds 17,000 crore rupees, plunged 44.80 rupees, or 35 percent, to 83.30 rupees on the <keyword id="53581" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="NATIONAL-STOCK-EXCHANGE">National Stock Exchange</keyword>. 

	Recently, Amtek said it had a loss of 236.5 crore rupees in its third quarter compared with a profit of 114.7 crore rupees in the same period a year ago. Sales during April-June fell 18 percent to 866.3 crore rupees compared with 1064.4 crore rupees. Amtek added its financing costs nearly doubled to 157.6 crore rupees versus 86.1 crore rupees.
 Group companies <keyword id="3008874" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Metalyst-Forgings">Metalyst Forgings</keyword> dropped 10 percent to 81.20 rupees and JMT Auto lost 5 percent to 116.95 rupees.

My middle son, educated about navigation and blazes, trekked a bit ahead on the trail by himself and ended up having propitious one-on-one time with a mule deer. And my youngest? He had to muster up the grit and resolve to keep up with his brothers and find joy in a demanding experience.We all grappled with being uncomfortable, wet, hungry, and tired, and it was through these trials that we found out what we were truly made of. In addition to securing permits, getting a satellite device for emergencies, and learning the ins and outs of the terrain, we did plenty of physical training to prepare for the JMT. Not only did we go on shorter and easier backpacking trips, testing out our gear and adding muscle to our legs, but my husband also bought my boys Styrofoam airplanes so that they could run up and down a hill to launch and fetch the planes. They knew they were being "tricked" into exercising, but they did it on their own accord anyway.My oldest took a <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/basic-first-aid-hacks-everyone-should-know-2018-7">first aid</a> course, which proved useful when my youngest hurt his finger on the trail. A Chargers fan raised $100,000 to buy a billboard outside team's new LA home ripping the NFL

Shares of debt-laden <keyword id="252427" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Amtek-Auto-Ltd-">Amtek Auto Ltd.</keyword>, an auto ancillary maker, recovered from 6-year lows after the management issued a statement saying it was confident about the company's ability to navigate troubled waters. 
 
Amtek hit a low of 53.50 rupees in trade today, its worst level since February 2009. The stock subsequently recovered to quote at 68.10 rupees, still down 23.6 percent, soon after the statement. The stock had plunged nearly 33 percent yesterday on fears of a potential default on its debt pile of more than 17,000 crore rupees on the group level. 
 Amtek's subsidiaries remained under the bear grip. <keyword id="2907719" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Castex-Technologies">Castex Technologies</keyword> was down 5 percent to 86.65 rupees. <keyword id="3008874" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Metalyst-Forgings">Metalyst Forgings</keyword> lost 9.4 percent to 74.65 rupees and JMT Auto was down 5 percent at 111.95 rupees. 
 
Amtek has seen its market capitalisation plunge 71 percent to to 1,440 crore rupees in the past one year. The maximum damage has happened in the last one week after the company announced a disastrous set of quarterly numbers.

Debt-ladden Amtek Auto finally recoveerd from 6 year lows

The <keyword id="6354813" type="COMPANY" weightage="80" keywordseo="nifty">Nifty</keyword> had a modest start on the last trading day of the week as strong overseas cues helped the index maintain its upward momentum from a three-month high. 
 
The Nifty gained 7 points to quote at 8,615 points after touching a high of 8,640 in early deals. tech Mahindra, Axis Bank, BHEL and Tata Power were the top gainers on the Index, while ACC, NMDC, Ambuja Cements and Vedanta fell. The Advance-Decline Ratio was 38:12. 
 The trend was equally flat on the <keyword id="6484188" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Sensex">Sensex</keyword> which rose 24 points to 28,470. Sun Pharma, BHEL and Wipro lead gainers on the Sensex, while Coal India and HDFC slipped a bit in early deals, taking the Advance-Decline Ratio to 18:11 on the Index. 
 
Meanwhile, in the broader market, 1,068 stocks advanced compared with 459 that fell, pointing to bulls retaining control on Dalal Street. 
 
Even as the broader Indices remained flat the action shifted to individual counters with stocks such as Glenmark, Essel Propack, HDFC Bank and Aurobindo Pharma hit fresh high. 
 
And in the volume buzzers corner were Gandhimathi Appliances, JMT Auto and Genus Power.

Know how the last day of the week began at Dalal Street

Stocks rose for a second day on Friday on the back of a global pull back in equities but came off from intra-day highs after traders judged the recent up as too swift and too high. 
 The Nifty rose 53 points to end the week at 8,001, after retracing from an intra-day high of 8,089 points. The Advance-Decline Ratio was 30/20. Vedanta, ONGC, <keyword id="6354287" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Bharti-Airtel">Bharti Airtel</keyword>, Cairn and Zee Entertainment were the top gainers on the Index while PNB, Lupin, Ambuja Cement, Yes Bank and <keyword id="6358007" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Bank-of-Baroda">Bank of Baroda</keyword> lost ground. 
 <keyword id="6355975" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Axis-Bank">Axis Bank</keyword> was the most actively traded stock on the NSE with 498 crore rupees worth of shares changing hands. Sun Pharma and SBI were in demand as well. All three stocks traded on the negative side. 
 
Broader markets were able to retain their early morning gains. The CNX 100, CNX 200, CNX 500, Nifty Junior and the CNX Mid Cap Indices gained between 0.3-1.3 percent on Friday. Selling on the Bank Nifty ensured that the 2 percent rise on the Index got erased. It ended 0.2 percent lower at 17,187 points. CNX Pharma, CNX PSU Bank and CNX Realty Indices lost ground as well. 
 
CNX Media, CNX IT and CNX Energy Indices were the top gainers, rising 1.2-2.3 percent. 
 The <keyword id="6484188" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Sensex">Sensex</keyword> on the <keyword id="43628" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Bombay-stock-exchange">Bombay Stock Exchange</keyword> added 139 points, or 0.5 percent, to 26,370 points. Bajaj Auto, GAIL, Infosys, Wipro and NTPC were among the top gainers while Sun Pharma, Coal India and Lupin fell below their Thursday's closing prices. The Advance-Decline Ratio was 19/11 with State Bank of India being the top traded counter on the Index. 
 
The fresh expiry on the futures and options market started on a modest note. MindTree, Reliance Communications, HCL Tech and IRB Infra were among the top gaining futures while Amara Raja Batteries, Union Bank, Petronet and Dish TV slipped in trade. Within sectors, Telecom and Technology futures emerged as top gainers while Banking and Realty lost ground. The Advance-Decline was bearish with 74 stocks rising compared with 86 that fell 
 
Even in the broader market, sellers overwhelmed buyers with 1,291 shares advancing while 1,404 falling below their yesterday's close. 
 
In the list of fresh 52 week highs were Jubilant Industries, 8K Miles, Escorts Ltd. and Bajaj Corp while ICRA, Kolte Patil Developers, JMT Auto and VRL Logistics figured on the top volume buzzers list on the NSE.
