Every year, JEE Advanced exam used to be conducted in the month of May. In a Twitter live session, Nishank also clarified the changes in the eligibility criteria for the exams and the selection process. He said that the 75% eligibility criteria for the exam has been scrapped keeping in mind that the COVID situation still prevails in the country. Earlier to appear for JEE Advanced, candidates were required to have secured a minimum of 75% aggregate in Class 12 board examination. And for SC, ST and PWD candidates the benchmark was at least 65%. The JEE Advanced 2021 exam will be held in two shifts given the pandemic and post the conclusion the authorities will release the JEE Advanced answer key 2021 on its official website. The JEE Advanced examination is conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. What is JEE Advanced? The JEE Advanced 2021 is held for admissions to the all 23 Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) for Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s program in Engineering. Registration for JEE Advanced 2021 will be done online at<a href="http://jeeadv.ac.in/"> jeeadv.ac.in</a>. The admit card, result and other information will be released on its official website. This year, engineering examination candidates (JEE Main 2021) will get four attempts to qualify for the examination — in February, March, April and May, — with the first session starting from February 23 to 26. The National Testing Agency (NTA) who conducts exams on behalf of the ministry will then release the merit at the end of the fourth session in May. JEE Advanced 2021 exams to be held on July 3 — 75% eligibility criteria scrapped

The prestigious Joint Entrance <keyword id="49591" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="examination">Examination</keyword> (<keyword id="6392660" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="JEE">JEE</keyword>) Advanced 2021 test has been postponed in view of the coronavirus situation in the country. Since the <keyword id="9859756" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="JEE-Mains-Examination">JEE Mains examination</keyword> could not be held at the scheduled time (May 24-28), so the <keyword id="1126172" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="JEE-Advanced">JEE Advanced</keyword> examination, which was going to be held on July 3, has also been postponed, the <keyword id="55119" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Indian-Institute-of-Technology">Indian Institute of Technology</keyword>, <keyword id="6357441" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="kharagpur">Kharagpur</keyword> announced. The Union <keyword id="181369" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Education-ministry">Education Ministry</keyword> had decided to conduct the JEE Mains examination four times in the current year. Candidates can appear in all four examinations of which their best test scores will be considered for appearing for the JEE Advanced exam. However, only two of the four sessions of JEE Mains examination have been conducted till now. <keyword id="581232" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="National-Testing-Agency">National Testing Agency</keyword>'s Senior Examination Director, Sadhana Parashar, said the first session of the JEE Mains examination was held in February this year and more than 6,20,000 students appeared. The second session was held in March with more than 5,56,000 students appearing. The third session of the JEE Mains examination was scheduled to be held from April 27 to 30, but had to be postponed in view of the second wave of pandemic. In the sane way, the fourth session to be held on May 24-28 was also postponed. According to the Education Ministry, students will be informed 15 days in advance before the test is conducted. The results of the JEE Main Exam Session 2 which were held in March have been already declared. These exams were conducted in 12 foreign cities and 334 Indian cities. Due to the second wave of Covid-19, the Union Education Ministry had decided to postpone all offline examinations scheduled in the month of May. This decision will be applicable to all central higher educational institutions across the country. Such higher educational institutions, which receive financial aid from the government, will also have to postpone these too. JEE Advanced exam postponed due to surge in COVID-19 cases in the country

<ul><li><keyword id="10362411" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="veranda-learning" source="Orion">Veranda Learning</keyword> has acquired test prep-institute T.I.M.E for a consideration of ₹287 crore.</li><li>This is <keyword id="12160510" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Veranda" source="Orion">Veranda</keyword>’s first acquisition since it went public last month.</li><li>T.I.M.E operates through 188 centres including franchisees spread across 98 cities in India and runs 222 preschools.</li></ul>Edtech company Veranda Learning Solutions has ventured deeper into the test prep and preschool segment with the acquisition of Hyderabad-based test prep-institute T.I.M.E (Advanced Educational Activities Private Limited) for a consideration of ₹287 crore. This is Veranda’s first acquisition since it went public last month at a <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/stock-market/news/veranda-learning-solutions-beats-gmp-and-lists-at-20-premium/articleshow/90771284.cms">premium of 20%</a>. Veranda’s share price has increased nearly 54% since its listing. The latest acquisition marked the company’s entry into the business administration (MBA), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) test-prep as well as the preschool segment. “This 100% acquisition will be in a phased manner with 80% of the outstanding capital along with management control in phase 1, followed by the purchase of the remaining 20% at the end of two years,” Veranda said in a statement. Founded in 2018 by Suresh Kalpathi, Veranda offers online and offline coaching services for career-defining courses such as UPSC, chartered accountancy, banking, and government exams to students, graduates, professionals, and corporate employees. The company provides services through four subsidiaries — Veranda Race, Veranda CA, Veranda IAS, and Edureka, which is the customer-facing brand of Brain4ce Education Solutions. It reported a loss of over ₹8 crore in fiscal year 2021. “Our experience and strengths combined with the background of technology and franchising business of the promoters of Veranda will surely create superior value to large segments of the student community. Outstanding reputation of each Course offering from this group will complement each other,” Pramod Kumar, founder and director of T.I.M.E, said in a statement. T.I.M.E — founded by Manek Daruvala, Viswanath Pillutla and Kumar — operates through 188 centres including franchisees spread across 98 cities in India. The company claims to have trained over 22 lakh students since its inception in 1992, with a run rate of almost 1.1 lakh students annually. The Company also has a chain of pre-schools under the T.I.M.E. Kids brand operates through 222 pre-schools in 56 cities.
