Rome [Italy], October 20 (ANI): <keyword id="85218" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="italian-prime-minister" source="Orion">Italian Prime Minister</keyword> <keyword id="14573695" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="giorgia-meloni" source="Orion">Giorgia Meloni</keyword> on Friday said that she has separated from her journalist partner <keyword id="18605810" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="andrea-giambruno" source="Orion">Andrea Giambruno</keyword>.<br /><br />"My relationship with Andrea Giambruno, which lasted almost 10 years, ends here," Meloni posted on her social media account on X.<br /><br />"Our paths have diverged for some time, and the time has come to acknowledge it," the 46-year-old Italian Prime Minister said.<br /><br />https://x.com/GiorgiaMeloni/status/1715255386058506377?s=20<br /><br />Giambruno and Meloni are not married and have been long-term partners. They have a seven-year-old daughter.<br /><br />"I thank him for the splendid years we spent together, for the difficulties we went through, and for giving me the most important thing in my life, which is our daughter Ginevra," she wrote.<br /><br />Giambruno, who hosts the show "Diario del Giorno" on Italian free-to-air television channel Rete 4a had come under flak when he suggested on his show this August that women could avoid rape by not getting too drunk.<br /><br />Meloni had said after that episode that she should not be judged for comments made by her partner, and that in future she would not answer questions about his behaviour.<br /><br />Meanwhile, in her statement on X about her split with her partner, the Italian Prime Minister said, "I will defend what we were, I will defend our friendship, and I will defend, at all costs, a seven-year-old girl who loves her mother and loves her father, as I was unable to love mine. I have nothing else to say about this."<br /><br />Born in Rome in 1977, Meloni was 15 when she joined the youth wing of the <keyword id="15091609" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="italian-social-movement" source="Orion">Italian Social Movement</keyword> (MSI). <ul class="summary-list"><li>Elon Musk was the star guest at Italian PM Giorgia Meloni's  political festival on Saturday.</li><li>He urged Italians and other developed nations to have more children to protect their cultures.</li></ul><p>Elon Musk was the guest of honor at Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's "Atreju" political festival in Rome on Saturday evening.</p><p>Taking to the stage with X Æ A-12, one of his sons, in his arms, Musk told the crowd gathered at the Sant'Angelo Castle that Italy should be having more children.</p><p>"Make more Italians to save Italy's culture," he said at one point in the <a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1yoKMwgNwjpJQ">discussion</a> when asked about Italy's immigration and demographics.</p><p>Musk said he was in favor of legal immigration but that alone would not solve the issue of population decline for industrialized nations.</p><p>"My advice to all government leaders and people is make sure you have children to create a new generation," he said, "or the culture of Italy, Japan and France will disappear."</p><p>"We are in danger of no longer having these countries," Musk, who has <a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1563020169160851456">previously said</a> he viewed "population collapse due to low birth rates" as more dangerous than global warming, added.</p><p>The SpaceX founder has a personal interest in the future of Italy and Europe, people involved in his travel plans said, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-12-16/elon-musk-how-did-the-world-s-richest-man-end-up-at-giorgia-meloni-s-festival">Bloomberg</a> reported.</p><p>This year birth rates in Italy are expected to hit a new record low, falling for the 15th consecutive year. Brand advertisers are always worried about their brand," he said.</p><p>The annual Atreju event, which has been running since 1998, was organized by Meloni's far-right Brothers of Italy.</p><p>Speaking after Musk was British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. <ul class="summary-list"><li>World leaders are reacting to the news that Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt.</li><li>Trump said a bullet "pierced" his ear at a rally before he was rushed away by the Secret Service.</li></ul><p>Leaders across the world have come out in support of former <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/donald-trump-butler-pennsylvania-rally-secret-service-2024-7">President Donald Trump after he survived an assassination attempt</a> at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.</p><p>The gunman behind the attack has been identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, the FBI said.</p><p>Crooks and a rally attendee who was caught in the crossfire have both been <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-pennsylvania-rally-shooting-deaths-2024-7">pronounced dead</a>.</p><p>Following the attack, Trump stood defiantly with blood smeared across his face and fist in the air before he was whisked away by the Secret Service.</p><p>Heads of state from countries including Canada, France, Israel, and Ukraine have since sent words of support to Trump, while political opponents, such as Joe Biden and Barack Obama, have also condemned the attack.</p><p>Here's how some of the world's leaders have reacted.</p><h3 id="1654fb48-cc41-409e-8776-0ec4d7add2b6">President Joe Biden</h3><p>Trump's election rival called the attack "sick" in a press briefing following the incident, saying that there was "no place in America for this kind of violence.</p><p>"It's one of the reasons why we have to unite this country," he added.</p><p>On social media, Biden also thanked the Secret Service and said he was "grateful to hear" that Trump was safe and "doing well."</p><h3 id="659d9b9c-1b83-4c91-a5bc-95d55279a30d">Vice President Kamala Harris</h3><p>Kamala Harris condemned the "abhorrent act" and said that she was praying for Trump, his family, and "all those who have been injured and impacted by this senseless shooting."</p><p>"Violence such as this has no place in our nation," she added.</p><h3 id="19814641-69c8-4813-ad01-d650fbbda99a">UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer</h3><p>The newly-elected UK Prime Minister said he was "appalled" by the incident, adding that "political violence in any form has no place in our societies and my thoughts are with all the victims of this attack."</p><h3 id="d9331076-f7d7-4085-9c1d-eeee959757e6">Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu</h3><p>Israel's Prime Minister, Netanyahu, said that he and his wife were "shocked" by the incident and that they were praying for Trump's recovery.</p><h3 id="1def0072-bbd5-41a8-ac6f-7c804d4b0b62">Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau</h3><p>Canada's head of state said he was "sickened" by the shooting.</p><p>"My thoughts are with former President Trump, those at the event, and all Americans," he added.</p><h3 id="7ff17992-8892-4807-9e9a-1a87ab46c477">French President Emmanuel Macron</h3><p>Macron called the assassination attempt a "tragedy for our democracies."</p><p>"France shares the shock and indignation of the American people," he added.</p><h3 id="952fcfed-c21f-4b6b-aa52-b88707261a4f">Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy</h3><p>Ukraine's wartime president said he was "appalled" to hear about the shooting and said that "such violence has no justification and no place anywhere in the world."</p><p>"I wish America emerges stronger from this," he added.</p><h3 id="f6c03c82-903c-4067-9ac4-adff1aa58e84">Former President Barack Obama</h3><p>Obama called on people to use the incident "to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our politics."</p><p>"Although we don't yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasn't seriously hurt," he wrote on X.</p><h3 id="df28f276-b126-40bc-9d4c-9bdacb8a5218">German Chancellor Olaf Scholz</h3><p>Olaf Scholz, the chancellor of Germany, called the attack "despicable."</p><p>"My thoughts are also with all of those who were affected by the attack.
