The airline had a profit after tax of Rs 919.2 crore in the year-ago period, according to a statement. In the fourth quarter of the last financial year, total income jumped to Rs 18,505.1 crore from Rs 14,600.1 crore. "FY24 has been a year of many remarkable achievements and milestones. For the full financial year 2024, we reported our highest ever total income of around 712 billion rupees (Rs 71,200 crore) with a net profit of around 82 billion rupees (Rs 8,200 crore) and a net profit margin of 11.9 per cent. The 4th quarter financial results were positive, making it all four quarters in FY24 profitable," IndiGo CEO <keyword id="20307450" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Pieter-Elbers" source="keywords">Pieter Elbers</keyword> said. He also said the strong execution of the company's strategy has yielded consistent results. At the end of March, the airline had a fleet of 367 planes, including 13 on damp lease.

It has an extensive distribution network across the country. </li><li>Keshav Lahoti, Associate Equity Analyst at Angel Broking, said, “If the issue is priced reasonably, we expect a good response for this IPO.”</li></ul>Sequoia Capital-backed Indigo Paints is set to launch its ₹1,000 crore IPO next week. The issue will open on January 20 and remain open for subscription until January 22. The price band has been set at ₹1488 - ₹1490 per share. The bids can be made for a minimum of 10 equity shares and in multiples of 10, thereafter. The company received capital markets regulator Sebi’s approval for an initial public offering last week. The Pune-based firm is the fifth-largest company in the Indian decorative paints segment in terms of revenue for fiscal year 2020. It has three manufacturing facilities located in Rajasthan, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. HDFC Securities in an earlier IPO note said that making inroads into the paints industry with a small number of firms remains a herculean task, given strong distribution moats of the top few. “Against this backdrop, Indigo Paints (founded in 2000) has been consistently chipping away market share within the ecosystem.” Indigo Paints’ revenue and profitability has consistently improved over the last few years. Indigo Paints ₹1,000 crore IPO opens on January 20 — price band set at ₹1488-1490 per share

After receiving approval from the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Securities+and+Exchange+Board+of+India+%28Sebi%29+">Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI)</a> for opening the Initial Public Offer (IPO), <keyword id="6354706" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Indigo">IndiGo</keyword>'s parent InterGlobe Aviation is likely to open the Rs 2,500-crore worth IPO on October 26. 
 
The company is planning to issue fresh shares worth Rs 1,272 crore. An equivalent amount can be raised through sale of up to 3.01 crore shares by its existing shareholders. 
 
According to sources, the initial share sale might start on October 26 and end on October 28. 
 InterGlobe Aviation received approval from the <keyword id="6378893" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="40" keywordseo="market-regulator">market regulator</keyword> last month. 
 
The preliminary papers for the share sale -- for raising up to Rs 2,500 crore -- were filed in June this year. 
 InterGlobe Aviation runs India’s biggest airline by <keyword id="34527" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="market-share">market share</keyword> under the brand name <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=IndiGo">IndiGo</a>, one of the two profit-making domestic airlines. The only other profitable airline is <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=GoAir">GoAir</a>. 
 
In the last fiscal, the budget carrier saw its net profit jumping over four-fold to Rs 1,304 crore as it remained profitable for seven consecutive years. 
 
This was also the highest ever annual profit registered by the airline since its inception in 2005. 
 
It had posted a net profit of Rs 317 crore in the year ended March 31, 2014. 
 
IndiGo's good showing in the last financial year was mainly on account of higher revenues despite the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=domestic+aviation+sector">domestic aviation sector witnessing turbulent times</a> that adversely impacted the balance sheets of most local carriers. 
 
The carrier witnessed its revenues climbing to Rs 14,320 crore in the 2014-15 financial year. This is an increase of 25% from Rs 11,447 crore revenues recorded in the fiscal ended March 31, 2014. 
 At present, listed domestic airlines include <keyword id="6358200" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Jet-Airways">Jet Airways</keyword> and SpiceJet while trading in long-grounded <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Kingfisher+Airlines+">Kingfisher Airlines</a> has been suspended for a long time.

Airline says it's testing a booking tool that lets women select seats away from men

New Delhi, Dec 5 () Shares of InterGlobe Aviation, parent firm of IndiGo, fell over 6 per cent on Thursday after the airline said the A320neo issue will impact the future capacity of the firm.
 The stock fell 6.05 per cent to close at Rs 1,320 on the BSE. In late afternoon trading session, it hit a low of Rs 1,316.55, down 6.30 per cent over previous close.
 On the NSE, the stock saw a decline of 6.06 per cent to settle at Rs 1,320.55. Intra-day, it lost as much as 6.29 per cent to Rs 1,317.25.
 The fall in stock price led to company's market capitalisation erode by over Rs 3,200 crore to Rs 50,782.39 crore.
 With DGCA ordering IndiGo to replace all A320neo aircraft with unmodified Pratt and Whitney (PW) engines by January 31, the airline on Wednesday designated this matter as one of the "revenue headwinds" of 2019-20, and said it is "likely to have an impact on future capacity".
 Moreover, an IndiGo A320 neo plane flying to Bengaluru on Thursday experienced high engine vibrations mid-air and returned to Mumbai airport, according to a senior official.
