"In the first phase the investment will be ₹230 crore. The focus will be on the domestic market. Based on the demand we will look at other markets," an official told IANS on Monday. The plant owned by Daicel Safety Systems India Pvt. Ltd, will come up at CapitalLand's OneHub Chennai, an industrial township located near here. The proposed plant is expected to go on stream by December 2023. According to Daicel Safety official, the company supplies its <keyword id="19705" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Products">products</keyword> to tier I vendor for automotive manufacturers. The company's airbag inflators can be found in all the major Japanese and Korean car makers in India. He declined to comment on the proposed plant's production capacity. "Until now, we have been supplying products to the Indian market from our <keyword id="7320905" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="production-site">production site</keyword> in Thailand and other countries. However, due to the growth potential of the Indian automobile market, and the need to strengthen automobile manufacturer and airbag module manufacturer supply chains in India, we have decided to establish a local production site at OneHub Chennai," Takase Yoshifumi, Managing Director, India Operations, Daicel Corporation said. One of the Trump Organization's India partners is accused of swindling investors out of $150 million

New Delhi, Jan 8 () US-based realty firm Hines has given Rs 500 crore contract to Tata Projects to construct its premium housing project in Gurugram.
 Hines has formed a joint venture with Conscient Infrastructure to develop a luxury housing project 'Elevate' in Gurugram with an estimated cost of Rs 1,500 crore. 
 Hines and Conscient have together put in Rs 500 crore equity fund into the JV for the development of this project. The land is owned by a local developer IREO.
 The JV will develop 556 apartments in a price range of Rs 2.4 crore to Rs 4 crore.
 Hines and Conscient Infrastructure have awarded Rs 500 crore construction contract for their residential development 'Elevate' to Tata Projects, a company statement said. 
 "We are happy to be constructing this premium residential project using world-class construction techniques with uncompromising standards of safety and quality," Tata Projects MD Vinayak Deshpande said. 
 The project will be completed by 2023.
 Prachish Vasudeva, senior director, Hines India said, "Elevate is a high-quality project and in Tata Projects we find a partner who shares our commitment to quality, transparency, safety and timely delivery to create the highest possible value for our customers."
 Conscient Infrastructure is the developer for the project while Hines is the development advisor and investment manager.

Tata Projects bags Rs 500 cr contract from Hines for housing project

It’s good news for Gurgaon professionals, as they might be shifting to a brand new office district with over 20 million sq ft of IT SEZ space. This can be expected to widen the development scope of the millennium city. 
 
IREO builders, based in Gurgaon as well as a joint venture of Singaporean IT park specialist Ascendas and sovereign fund GIC are planning to build IT SEZ space in Gurgaon's Golf Course Extension Road, situated on the southern edge of the city. 
 
Presently, DLF Cyber City serves as the largest office space conglomeration in Gurgaon, with around 13 million sq ft of space built over the past 15 years. However, it is left with leasable space under 10 per cent vacancy level, as per a reprt of property advisory firm JLL. 
 
Talking of the new plan, IREO has planned to spend Rs 5,500-6,000 crore on it, in building about 12 million sq ft of IT SEZ space over 85 acres in the Golf Course Extension Road area. In the first phase of construction, a million sq ft area would be developed. 
 
On the other hand, Ascendas India Growth Fund will build about 8 million sq ft of IT and commercial mixed-use space. This space would include IT SEZ, retail amenities, corporate office and some hospitality elements, and would cost Rs 2,500-3,500 crore. Its first phase would see 1.3 million sq ft area being developed. 
 
Even though both projects would be separately built, the larger development on the two contiguous parcels of land will be according to a common infrastructure master plan. With international specifications including traffic planning, state-of-the-art infrastructure, the project has completed traffic studies and roads and other infrastructure are to be accordingly constructed. 
 
The strategic location is close to the under-onstruction metro railway phase, attracting more tenants.
