The three sons of the Hamas leader, who were confirmed dead by the Israeli forces, were identified as Amir Haniyeh, a cell commander in the Hamas military wind and Mohammad and Hazem Haniyeh." In a post on X, IDF on April 10 stated, "IAF aircraft struck Amir Haniyeh, a cell commander in the Hamas military wing, and Mohammad and Hazem Haniyeh, both Hamas military operatives, in central Gaza today. The IDF confirms that the 3 operatives are the sons of Ismail Haniyeh, the chairman of Hamas' political bureau." Meanwhile, the Israel Defence forces also announced that they had eliminated Fuad Shukr "Sayyid Muhsan", Hezbollah's Most Senior Military Commander. According to the IDF, Shukr was Hezbollah commander Hassan Nasrallah's Right-Hand Man Shukr and directed Hezbollah's attacks on Israel. IDF said he was responsible for the killing of 12 children in Majdal Shams in northern Israel earlier, as well as the killing of numerous Israelis and foreign nationals over the years. The IDF said Shukr was also responsible for the majority of Hezbollah's most advanced weaponry, including precise-guided missiles, cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles, long-range rockets and UAVs.

Till now, women are only part of ground duties in the Army Aviation Corps. Women pilots would be flying helicopters to forward locations and be part of operations at the borders, the Army Chief said, adding that the proposal has been cleared. The <keyword id="15141" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Indian-Air-Force">Indian Air Force</keyword> has 10 women fighter pilots. In the <keyword id="6355100" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Indian-Navy">Indian Navy</keyword>, women pilots are flying the Dornier aircraft and also as observers on board helicopters and P8I surveillance aircraft. Other than the 10 fighter pilots, the <keyword id="6355075" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="IAF">IAF</keyword> has 111 women pilots who fly transport planes and choppers. During his annual press conference in New Delhi, General Naravane said: "Last month, I had initiated a proposal that women officers can be recruited to Army Aviation. The next course which will begin in July this year, will induct women for training purposes in flying branch and after one year they will be able to join in operational duties." The Indian Army raised the Army Aviation Corps on November 1, 1986 and it comprises helicopters that fly in conflict and peace zones. The Aviation Corps is critical for the Indian Army as it is pressed into action for evacuation of injured troops during operations or health emergencies in high altitude areas. Army Aviation Corps choppers are also used for reconnaissance, observation, casualty evacuation, essential load drops, and combat search and rescue. "A proposal for acquisition of advanced missiles developed by the <keyword id="152819" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="defence-research-and-development-organisation" source="Orion">Defence Research and Development Organisation</keyword> is with the <keyword id="43909" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="defence-ministry" source="Orion">Defence Ministry</keyword> and a high-level meeting would soon be taking a call on it," defence officials told <keyword id="21936" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="ani" source="Orion">ANI</keyword>. The next-generation anti-radiation missiles have already been tested by the Indian Air Force from its Sukhoi-30 fighter aircraft fleet and can destroy enemy radar locations during conflicts, they said. The destruction of radar systems can help the Indian Air Force to strike targets without detection, the officials said. The NGARM can be fired from IAF fighters like the Sukhoi-30 and the Mirage-2000. It is accurate and has been developed with the capability to even track a radar system even if it is not operating. NGARM is India's first indigenously developed anti-radiation missile that has a speed of <keyword id="1548525" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="mach" source="Orion">Mach</keyword> two or twice the speed of sound. The tactical, air-to-surface anti-radiation missile is equipped with a passive homing head that tracks sources of radiation of a wide range of frequencies. It can lock into a target not only before launch but also after it has been launched. Maksym said his crew flies only one mission a day because they don't have enough rockets for more attacks. The problem, he said, extends from helicopters to fighter jets, where Ukraine has nothing to counter Russia's newest models."The Russian jets are much better quality than ours," Maksym told The Times. "It's like comparing a Mercedes to a Lada." A Lada is a Soviet-era car from Russia, which had a reputation for being cheap, bulky, and unreliable.The Russians are flying a large number of advanced combat aircraft, including the Kamov Ka-52 helicopter, he added.The Ka-52 is mainly designed for fierce battle, while the Mil Mi-8 Maksym has is designed for troop transportation rather than fighting.
