A single high school in India has produced the CEOs of Microsoft, Adobe, and Mastercard

A 22-year veteran of the company who previously led Microsoft's cloud and enterprise efforts, Nadella is generally considered a <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/chambers-welch-applaud-microsoft-nadella-2014-2">safe choice</a> for the top executive spot. 
He's known within the company for being private, mild-mannered, and one to <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/satya-nadella-cuts-drama-management-2014-2">avoid management drama</a>. 
We've dug up some facts about Nadella you might not have known. 
<h3>1. He's a huge cricket fan and says it's inspired the way he does business. </h3>
<a href="http://archives.deccanchronicle.com/130729/lifestyle-offbeat/article/%E2%80%98never-ever-stop-learning%E2%80%99-satya-nadella">In an interview</a> with Hyderabad's Deccan Chronicle last summer, Nadella reflected on how playing the sport had an impact on his life.
"I think playing cricket for HPS (Hyderabad Public School) taught me more about working in teams and leadership that has stayed with me throughout my career," <a href="http://archives.deccanchronicle.com/130729/lifestyle-offbeat/article/%E2%80%98never-ever-stop-learning%E2%80%99-satya-nadella">he said</a>. "There was this one particular incident in a match where my school captain noticed I was bowling some really ordinary stuff. He took over the next over himself, got our team the much-needed breakthrough and then threw the ball back to me in the next over! I will never forget that. What made him do that? Is this what they call leadership? These are the kind of questions I have since reflected on as I approach many of the things I do today leading teams."
<h3>2. He married his high school sweetheart. </h3>
According to the <a href="http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2014-02-05/hyderabad/47048611_1_hyderabad-public-school-venugopal-batch">Times of India</a>, Nadella met his wife Anupuma when they were both students at Hyderabad Public School in the early '80s. They've now been married for 22 years and have three kids together. 
<h3>3. He's a Seahawks fan. </h3>
Shortly after the Super Bowl, Nadella <a href="https://twitter.com/satyanadella">tweeted</a> his congratulations to the Seahawks and team owner Paul Allen. (Allen is also a Microsoft co-founder.) He included a picture of himself in a hoodie bearing the team's logo.

In his <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/satya-nadella-email-to-microsoft-employees-2014-2">first email to Microsoft</a> employees as CEO, Nadella described himself as a lifelong learner who buys more books and signs up for more online courses than he could ever complete. 
"[I'm] just crazy ambitious in the 15 minutes I have in the morning. You know, I'm trying to listen to a neuroscience class or something," <a href="http://www.politico.com/story/2014/02/satya-nadella-biography-key-facts-career-background-microsoft-103106.html">he told Politico</a>. 
<h3>5. He's really into poetry. </h3>
Nadella's <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/news/ceo/index.html">official Microsoft profile</a> lists poetry as one of his hobbies.
He's compared his passion for poetry to coding. 
"You're trying to take something that can be described in many, many sentences and pages of prose, but you can convert it into a couple lines of poetry and you still get the essence, so it's that compression. The best code is poetry," <a href="http://www.politico.com/story/2014/02/satya-nadella-biography-key-facts-career-background-microsoft-103106.html">he said to Politico</a>. 
He even brings up literature when talking about test cricket, which, as the longest form of his favorite sport, can sometimes last up to five days. 
"I love it," he said to the <a href="http://articles.economictimes.indiatimes.com/2014-02-04/news/47005014_1_satya-nadella-microsoft-bill-gates">Economic Times</a>. "There's so many subplots in it, it's like reading a Russian novel."
<h3 dir="ltr">6. He has a sweet tooth. </h3>
Microsoft's new CEO apparently has a passion for pastries, according to the <a href="http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2014-02-05/hyderabad/47048611_1_hyderabad-public-school-venugopal-batch">Times of India</a>. He's remembered fondly by high school friends as one who took full advantage of tea time, and his former school always has a good spread ready for him when he visits.
"Despite his sweet tooth, he retains his whippet-thin physique thanks to a passion for running," <a href="http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2014-02-05/hyderabad/47048611_1_hyderabad-public-school-venugopal-batch">the Times of India reports</a>.

Nadella has been remarkably quiet <a href="https://twitter.com/satyanadella">on Twitter</a> - despite having more than 111,000 followers, he's only tweeted 27 times since making an account in February 2009.
Still, judging by the number of exclamation points used in those few tweets, he seems pretty enthusiastic.

<h3>8. He's highly educated. </h3>

According to <a href="http://gadgets.ndtv.com/others/features/meet-satya-nadella-the-new-microsoft-ceo-479282">New Delhi Television</a>, he was on track to get his MBA from the University of Chicago when he received his job offer from Microsoft in 1992. Rather than choose between the two paths, he decided to do both at the same time, flying to Chicago Friday nights to attend classes before heading back to Redmond, Wash. for the work week. He received his MBA in two and a half years following that hectic schedule.

Hyderabad Public School was the first school to be selected for the <a href="https://www.microsoft.com/india/msindia/pressreleases/microsoft-to-39-spark-39-innovation-entrepreneurship-in-india/294/">I-spark program</a>, which utilized Microsoft materials and software to help young Indian students jump-start careers in tech. 
"He interacted with each of the students. It's great to see a figure like him and learn from him. His down-to-earth attitude was very impressive and students were really comfortable interacting with him and learning from him," former classmate Faiz Khan <a href="http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2014-02-05/hyderabad/47048611_1_hyderabad-public-school-venugopal-batch">told the Times of India</a>.

Nothing changed for India on Mercer’s Quality of Living rankings 2016. The survey ranked Vienna has city with best quality of living for third straight year. 
 
But, nothing much changed for Indian cities on the quality of living scale, scoring nearly the same as they did last year. 
 
Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai emerged as best options for lower crime rate, less air pollution and improved options for international and reputable English speaking schools. 
 
Hyderabad also slipped one rank from last year to 139 in the overall rankings and Pune ranked at 144. 
 
Mumbai and New Delhi were at 152 and 161, respectively. 
 
However, the rankings revealed that Indian cities were safer than most others in South Asia. 
 
Sri Lanka's capital Colombo was above Hyderabad by 6 ranks, at 132, Dhaka in Bangladesh is ranked 216 and Pakistan's Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi are ranked 193, 199 and 202 respectively. 
 
Meanwhile, Vienna was followed by Zurich (2), Auckland (3), Munich (4) and Vancouver (5). 
 
Mercer's Quality of Living surveys taken into account political and social environment, medical care and health considerations, public services, recreation facilities and natural environment amongst others.

Indian cities make no progress on quality of living rankings, Hyderabad emerges as best

<keyword id="6354552" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="hyderabad">Hyderabad</keyword> has emerged as the best city in terms of living standards among Indian cities three years in a row, while Vienna has been ranked at the top globally in a list by consultancy firm Mercer. The National Capital for the second straight year hit the lowest score among Indian cities for living standards, as per the Mercer's Quality of Living rankings 2017. Both Hyderabad and Pune ranked higher for quality of living than the country's traditional business centres Mumbai and <keyword id="6358777" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="New-Delhi">New Delhi</keyword>, which have been ranked at 154 and 161, respectively, by the report. However, Hyderabad fell by five places to 144 in this year's rankings from 139th rank last year due to decreased power supply and water availability. While New Delhi scored well on account of its airport facility, availability of international schools and low probability of natural disasters, these positives were offset by a variety of negatives including a 'notorious' crime rate, air pollution and water availability, the report said. "Delhi continues to be challenged with increasing air pollution, owing to growing traffic and industrialisation. Delhi's air is the worst among world megacities, even the World Health Organisation confirmed recently. Unfortunately, there has been no improvement in air quality," Ruchika Pal, Principal and <keyword id="3658" type="COUNTRY" weightage="20" keywordseo="India">India</keyword> Practice Leader, Global Mobility, said. Over time, cities like Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai have emerged as cities of choice due to factors such as relatively lower crime rate, lesser air pollution and improved options for international and reputable English speaking schools. Pal noted that Indian cities that have been part of the survey have not made much progress on the quality of living scale since last year. The only exception is Chennai, whose score has marginally improved mainly on account of public transport, including buses and a recently expanded two¬line metro system, and improved availability of expat housing. Globally, Vienna remained at the top for overall quality of living for the eighth year running, with the rest of the top-ten list mostly filled by European cities. European cities in the top ten list are: Zurich (2) Munich (4), Dusseldorf (6), Frankfurt (7), Geneva (8), Copenhagen (9) and Basel ¬¬ a newcomer ¬¬ at 10th place. The only non¬European cities in the top ten are Auckland (3) and Vancouver (5). The highest ranking cities in Asia and Latin America are Singapore (25) and Montevideo (79), respectively, it said. Mercer's survey also includes a city infrastructure ranking that assesses each city's supply of electricity, drinking water, telephone and mail services, and public transportation as well as traffic congestion and the range of international flights available from local airports. Singapore topped the city infrastructure ranking, followed by Frankfurt and Munich both in 2nd place, while on the other hand Baghdad (230) and Port au Prince (231) ranked at the bottom for city infrastructure. Amongst Indian cities, Mumbai is ranked the highest at 141, followed by Kolkata (149) and Pune (151), while Bangalore was rated the lowest (177) by the report.

HYDERABAD: It's been barely a month since he took over as only the third <a href="http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/topic/CEO">CEO</a> of tech giant<a href="http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/topic/Microsoft">Microsoft</a> since it was set up 39 years ago, but <a href="http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/topic/Satya-Nadella">Satya Nadella</a> already has <keyword id="10387" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Microsoft">Microsoft</keyword>'s five-year plan chalked out: use software as a driving force to advance the company's devices and services. 
 In an exclusive interview with TOI — the first with an Indian newspaper or TV channel since his ascension to the post of <keyword id="5645" type="POSITION" weightage="60" keywordseo="CEO">CEO</keyword> in February — Nadella insisted that software is "one of the most valuable, malleable resources" of the organization and that his primary objective as Microsoft chief would be to deliver software-driven advanced innovations that would help enrich customer experience. "I want to see us remain convinced that software matters in the future," the Hyderabad-born 46-year-old said, reiterating his "incredible focus" on offering Microsoft customers what they really value and enable them to do more in work, life and play. 
 
Back home in India too, Nadella aspires to see his "mobile first, cloud first" mantra accelerate future technology advancements. He acknowledges that the country, which boasts of a more than 6,000 employee-strong base, is a vital part of Microsoft's plans. "We are working with our partners to provide a wide range of Azure cloud offerings to accelerate economic growth and breakthrough cloud services in India," he said. 
 Nadella hailed Indian talent, saying, "... India is a tremendous source of technology talent, both at home and around the world, and that is something we can all take pride in." He also confessed to being moved by the flurry of congratulatory messages that have flooded his inbox. Congratulations on your taking over as Microsoft CEO. How has the ride been so far? 
 I've been in the role for little over a month, and it has been incredible. I've been impressed by the passion and energy of Microsoft employees, and their willingness to commit to driving the company forward. I've worked in many areas of the company over 22 years, but there are some pieces of the business I'm getting to learn more about and it's been exciting to dig in deeper with those teams. Together with the leadership team, I'm focused on driving clarity and alignment on the strategy for our path forward with a laser focus on listening to customers and delivering our next waves of innovation. As a side note, I've to admit I was humbled by, and grateful for, the response in India to my appointment. I received congratulations and best wishes from so many people — not just <keyword id="343" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="40" keywordseo="Friends">friends</keyword> and former colleagues, but many I had never met before. I deeply appreciate the encouragement from people across India. 
 
What's your priority number one as CEO? 
 
Microsoft is an amazing company that has changed the world. I firmly believe our best days are ahead of us. I want us to move faster and advance our innovations to deliver new value to customers. I've spent a lot of time with our leadership team talking about these opportunities and focusing on driving clarity and alignment on strategy, providing our teams with the resources and environment to do their best work, and removing internal barriers so our teams can deliver break through innovation faster. 
 
On Day 1 as CEO, you said your aim would be to take Microsoft towards a "mobile first, cloud first" world. How will you do that? 
 
Microsoft was built on productivity, now we're reimagining productivity for a mobile first, cloud first world. I'm focused on zeroing in on what we can uniquely deliver for customers that they really value - this will manifest itself in our cloud services and in the rich experiences we create on devices that enable customers do more in work, life and play. 
 
Microsoft seems to have lost its mojo. How do you get the momentum back? 
 Our industry doesn't value tradition, it only values innovation. Our 39-year history gives us a strong foundation and capabilities to build on, as an organization. Our quest is to continually renew ourselves, be persistent and push the limits on what is possible. I've been inspired as I've met with our product and R&amp;D teams and got <keyword id="154361" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="feedback">feedback</keyword> from customers. We are on the brink of boundary-less innovation in this industry and, I'm focused on investing in areas where we can drive unique value for customers, and move faster. 
 
Where do you wish to see Microsoft five years down the line? 
 
I want to see us remain convinced that software matters in future. Software is one of the most valuable resources we have, which will be the driving force in advancing our devices and services and driving the next wave of innovations. Culturally, I'd like to see us be known as a learning organization. The ability in this industry to take new learnings, accrue it to what you've done in the past and make it relevant for the future is valuable — I'm energized when I think of the potential here in harnessing the collective brainpower and talent of our soon to be 130,000 employees. 
 
With you at the helm, the software industry here is hopeful of Microsoft's R&amp;D units in India (especially Microsoft's India Development Center, Hyderabad) getting a boost. Anything specific in mind for India? 
 
India has always been a vital part of Microsoft's plans. I think that only increases going forward. India is one of the few countries where Microsoft has the entire range of our operations — including basic R&amp;D and customer services. We have more than 6,000 employees, and over 10,000 partners in India, creating thousands of jobs and a vibrant technology ecosystem. Twenty of the top 20 companies in India use our technology. Five of the top five IT companies, five of the top five manufacturing companies, five of the top five banking organizations — across virtually every sector, Microsoft technology is helping support the economic infrastructure of India. I'm excited about the future technology advancements possible in India in this mobile first, cloud first world. 
 
The cloud is going to be a huge enabler of consumer services and entrepreneurial growth. We are working with our partners to provide a wide range of Azure cloud offerings to accelerate economic growth and breakthrough cloud services in India. I'm passionate about the work we do to support education and other societal goals across India. Microsoft has been running one of the largest not-for-profit education and skills programmes in India. Over the last two decades, our programmes have helped over 40 million students, teachers and budding Indian entrepreneurs. 
 
Your story is an inspiration to many. Some critics argue that your success highlights the unfortunate reality of Indian students who shine only when they give up on their country to work in the US. Your comments ... 
 
There are many examples of Indian students who have remained in India and built great companies and done great things. Truth is that India is a tremendous source of technology talent, both at home and around the world. That's something we can all take pride in. 
 
What or who has been your inspiration? 
 
My parents have been among my biggest inspirations — they gave me the freedom and confidence to pursue what I wanted to. Beyond that, my teachers, friends and colleagues played a critical role in both introducing me to new things and pushing me to raise my game each step of the way. <a href="http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/topic/Bill-Gates">Bill Gates</a> has also been an inspiration — from his vision of how technology could unleash the potential of every human being, to the <keyword id="69295" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="40" keywordseo="Curiosity">curiosity</keyword> and intellectual rigour that he brings to every interaction. I've learned so much from Bill, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to work closely with him again as a <keyword id="605495" type="POSITION" weightage="40" keywordseo="technology-advisor">technology advisor</keyword> to me and the company. 
 
When you are not at work or, like you've confessed, signing up for online courses, what do you do? We know you like poetry. Any favourites? 
 
I do buy more books than I can read and sign up for more online courses than I can finish. My love of poetry has grown. Maybe it's my attention span that needs more work, but I do love the compression in poetry. I went through a phase of reading Urdu poetry, thanks to the great transliterated versions now available. Now I am into Whitman and WH Auden. My all-time favourite is Keats — Ode on a Grecian Urn. Who is not haunted by those final lines — Beauty is truth, truth beauty — that is all ye know on earth, and all ye need to know. 
 
How about cricket? Do you now get any time to play? Or even watch Tests?

You were born and brought up in Hyderabad. What memories do you have of the city? 
 Cumulatively I spent five years in Hyderabad. But I will always be a Hyderabadi. It was a laid back place in the late 70s and early 80s when I was growing up there. One got to do what they wanted versus being in a <keyword id="37572" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="40" keywordseo="rush">rush</keyword> to do what others were doing. I enjoyed that freedom. I have lots of friends from Hyderabad Public School with whom I am pretty close, both in Hyderabad and elsewhere. It was great to get emails from all the CEOs who happen to be HPS alumnus — Shantanu Narayen at Adobe, <keyword id="6385037" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Prem-Watsa">Prem Watsa</keyword> at Fairfax Holdings, TK Kurian at Wipro and <keyword id="44475" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Ajay-Banga">Ajay Banga</keyword> at Mastercard. It's surreal. 
 
What's that one message you would want to give young professionals? 
 
Find something you are truly passionate about, and throw yourself into it fully. Life is too short to just go through the motions on something you are not truly passionate about. Stay curious, never stop learning.

Proud That India's ASource Of Global Tech Talent: Satya Nadella

Internet giant <keyword id="6355629" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="google" source="Orion">Google</keyword> on Thursday began work here on its largest campus outside of its headquarters in the US. The 3 million square feet building is coming up at Gachibowli, the information technology cluster. The company also unveiled the design of the campus coming up at the 7.3-acre site it acquired in 2019. <keyword id="68884" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="telangana" source="Orion">Telangana</keyword>'s Information Technology Minister K.T. Rama Rao said he was super excited to break the ground for Google's largest campus outside of their headquarters at Mountain View, the US. The building prioritises sustainability and energy efficiency throughout its design. Upon commissioning, it will offer a highly skilled tech workforce a healthy, collaborative workplace that is both resilient and adaptable, designed to serve the city for years to come, Google said. "I am pleased that Google is deepening its roots in <keyword id="6354552" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="hyderabad" source="Orion">Hyderabad</keyword> through this landmark building which incorporates sustainability into its design, keeping in mind Hyderabad's large and future-focused talent pool," said Rama Rao, who unveiled the building design at a ceremony held onsite. The campus was originally planned as a 2 million square facility with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore. An agreement was signed between the Telangana government and Google in 2015 when Rama Rao had visited the company headquarters in California. Google currently operates out of a leased facility in Kondapur in Hyderabad and employs about 7,000 people. The new campus, which was earlier expected to be ready in 2019, is likely to nearly double the headcount. Meanwhile, Google on Thursday signed an MoU with the Telangana government to support and accelerate its vision of leveraging technology for sustainable economic development and inclusive social development. Under this new initiative, Google will collaborate with the government through its various arms to extend scholarships for Google Career Certificates to Telangana's youth, support women entrepreneurs through digital, business and financial skills training, and strengthen the government's school modernisation efforts with digital teaching and learning tools and solutions. As part of the joint effort, Google will also support the Telangana government's efforts to improve public transportation and use of digital technologies in agriculture. KTR, as the minister is popularly called, noted that Google has been working with the Telangana government since 2017, using its solutions to support "our vision of a Digital Telangana and furthering our mutual aim of making every citizen digitally empowered". "Our previous MoUs with them have resulted in some great initiatives that have positively affected citizens from all walks of life. This time we are focusing on making a step-change in communities such as youth, women, and students and in citizen services," he said. Satya Nadella hits refresh – from Hyderabad to Microsoft CEO to Padma awardee

As against the two-year M.Tech program at IITs, the premier institutes are planning to execute M.Tech course for working professionals. 
 
A number of IITs are unable to retain their MTech students as they quit the course after landing jobs in public sector undertakings. In this regard, the M Tech programme could have more students complete their Masters. 
 
The move can help promote research work and increase revenue of IITs. IIT directors were seen discussing issues related to introducing executive MTech at the 155th meeting of IIT directors hosted by IIT-Kanpur last year in December. 
 
They feel there is no harm having sponsored MTechs by industry and the course could be charged for the actual cost. 
 
Curently, a number of IIMs and other B-schools already offer executive MBA programme for working professionals, but IIT's M.Tech course is the most cost-effective. Here's what the current M.Tech courses are offering. 
 
Compressed into a one-year programme, the executive M.Tech programme at IITs will be charged as per market rates. 
 
The final decision, however, is awaited. 
 
IIT directors of Bombay, Hyderabad and Roorkee are working out the details of this project. Once they reach a conclusion, the proposal will be sent to the IIT council, chaired by the HRD minister, for final approval.

A New Executive Course for Working Professionals may soon find a place in IITs

New Delhi, May 27 (IANSlife) More than 51 percent of women respondents say that Indian schools do not have a proper system to prepare teen and adolescent girls regarding the onset of menstrual periods. Nearly 60 percent women feel schools lack adequate facilities for girls to change and dispose of sanitary pads off, says a survey. Today is Menstrual Hygiene Day 2020 falling , and feminine hygiene brand Everteen had conducted the fifth edition of its annual Menstrual Hygiene Survey. The survey was conducted among nearly 7000 Indian women participating from various cities of India including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Kolkata. Over 51 percent women respondents claimed that Indian schools do not have adequate systems to educate or mentally prepare teen and adolescent girls regarding the onset of menstrual periods. More than 95 percent women asserted that Indian school system should have some awareness programs to prepare girls on the subject. The survey also revealed that during adolescence, nearly 60 percent women did not have any prior knowledge about menstrual periods. In fact, as many as 38 percent women had first misinterpreted it as an injury or disease. In terms of infrastructure, almost 59 percent women felt that schools do not have adequate cleanliness of public toilets or facilities for girls to change and dispose sanitary pads off. Chirag Pan, CEO, PAN Healthcare, says, "Menstrual hygiene and wellness have been known issues in the Indian context. While there has been progress in recent years, it is imperative that we leverage our strength in the Indian value-based systems and inculcate the importance of good menstrual hygiene from the onset of puberty itself. Schools can and must play a pivotal role in bringing this paradigm shift through classroom education, awareness programs and focused infrastructure development." In workspaces too, 41 percent women felt their office needed better cleanliness and facilities to change and dispose sanitary pads off in toilets. The survey also suggests that the role that doctors can play in preventing gynecological problems is significantly downplayed due to the shame and guilt associated with menstrual cycles in Indian context. More than 50 percent women said they have had some gynecological infection or problem such as UTI, rashes, foul smell or itching during or after menstrual cycle in the past one year. Among these, 20 percent of women had such issues more than 3 times during the year. More than 64 percent women have faced irregularities in their period dates, out of which half have had to deal with it more than 3 times in a year. Ironically, only 37 percent of women said they consult a doctor in case or irregular periods, whereas 32 percent prefer to discuss it within the family and 30 percent just ignore it. Similarly, more than 54 percent women have had white discharge, but only 25 percent prefer to consult a doctor. As many as 56 percent women believe that menstruation is still perceived as a taboo in Indian society. Not surprisingly, then, more than 42 percent of women felt uncomfortable buying sanitary essentials from a shop or a chemist, especially when there were several other customers. Because of the guilt associated with menstrual cycle, 87 percent women admitted that they had to hide or secretly take their sanitary product for changing. Interestingly, more than three-fourth of the respondents said that menstruation would not have been such a taboo subject in the society if men had it too! Another key revelation from the survey shows that 53 percent women have used a public toilet more than 3 times at an office, mall or cinema hall to change sanitary product. Hariom Tyagi, CEO, Wet and Dry Personal Care,says, "Our survey shows that 75 percent women feel uncomfortable having to use public toilets to change sanitary products. Yet, more than 93 percent women still use sanitary napkins. By switching to better, modern-age menstrual hygiene methods (MHM) such as menstrual cups, women can reduce the number of times they have to change their sanitary product in a day. Many women have told us that using menstrual cups has greatly reduced their daily discomfort due to periods." The survey revealed that menstrual cups are now being used by 4 percent of the women, and their adoption has overtaken tampons by almost double. One of the alarming trends that emerged from the survey shows that more than one-third women said they have used a pill or some other method to delay periods in case of an important occasion.
