The movie will also be shown on Star Gold and Star Gold 2 channels on TV but the date is unknown. The sports action film was produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Charmme Kaur and Puri Jagannath, who is also the director of the movie. It opened on the silver screen in August and ran in theatres for about three weeks across the country. The total box office collection of the film was just ₹20.5 crore, according to <a href="https://www.bollywoodhungama.com/movie/liger/box-office/">Bollywood Hungama</a>. While the estimated budget of the movie was ₹125 crore. According to several <a href="https://www.indiatoday.in/movies/regional-cinema/story/vijay-deverakonda-to-return-rs-6-crore-from-his-salary-to-producers-after-liger-flops-reports-1996642-2022-09-05">reports</a>, lead actor Devarakonda had returned ₹6 crore from his fee to the producer after the movie performed badly at the box office. Professional American Boxer Mike Tyson also made an extended cameo in the movie, which was the surprise element of the movie, as per media <a href="https://www.zeebiz.com/trending/entertainment/news-liger-ott-release-when-and-where-to-watch-vijay-deverakondas-debut-bollywood-film-200139">reports</a>. The movie also stars veteran actress Ramya Krishnan, who is well-known for her role as the matriarch in the Bahubali franchise.

This comes in at a time when it is preparing to launch a video service. 
 
The company was valued at $300-400 million. New investors like Quilvest which manage some of the world's richest families also participated in the funding drive. 
 
"We will be investing very heavily in our product roadmap, user acquisition and launching new services like video", Rishi Malhotra, co-founder and CEO said. 
 The current funds would enable Saavn to compete with domestic music streaming providers like <keyword id="18898" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Hungama">Hungama</keyword> and <keyword id="-77" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="gaana">Gaana</keyword>. Apple Music arrived in India last week with the launch of its new streaming service in 100 countries. 
 
"Saavn continues to innovate consumer products designed for India's growing mobile user base," Tiger Global partner Lee Fixel said in a statement. 
 
The size of India's music industry is pegged at Rs 980 Crores. It is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 14% from 2014 to 2019, with digital channel or digital music accounting for a 55% share. 
 
Saavn has said it is adding 1 million active users every month, and has increased its user base to 14 million from 11 million in March. The company expects to cross 20 million active users a month by the end this year. Rivals Hungama and Gaana have 50 million and 12 million users respectively.

Importantly, the effort of the Signatories, through this Tool Kit, is to also address feedback received from Ministry of Information and Broadcasting inter-alia, on the issues of conflict of interest and prohibited content. The Code has been adopted by seventeen (17) leading Online Curated Content Providers in India. The present set of signatories include ZEE5, Viacom 18 (Voot), Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, SonyLiv, MX Player, Jio Cinema, Eros Now, Alt Balaji, Arre, HoiChoi, Hungama, Shemaroo, Discovery Plus, Aha and Lionsgate Play. JioStar announces plans starting at ₹15 – here’s everything you need to know

Chinese brand <keyword id="2210217" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="oneplus">OnePlus</keyword> on Wednesday announced the expansion of its portfolio on <keyword id="6354742" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Flipkart">Flipkart</keyword> with the launch of Q1 TV series. The Q1 series comes in two variants featuring 55-inch 4K-resolution QLED panels, largely with the same specifications. The only difference between the <keyword id="6884240" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="OnePlus-TV">OnePlus TV</keyword> Q1 and Q1 Pro is the presence of a built-in motorised soundbar on the more expensive unit. "Consumers can purchase the premium OnePlus TV Q1 series on the Flipkart website and app," the company said in a statement. The TVs also support Dolby Vision and sound formats up to Dolby Atmos, along with support for the HDR10 high dynamic range format. The OnePlus Q1 series runs Android TV 9.0 that comes with OxygenPlay, a curated content service built into the TV. The launch of this new feature on OnePlus TV's Oxygen Play further aims to enhance the overall user experience provided by the company on both OnePlus TV 55 Q1 and OnePlus TV 55 Q1 Pro, the company said in a statement. "With this feature new and existing OnePlus TV users will now be able to directly view popular movies and series exclusively from Amazon Prime Video Library through an integrated channel on Oxygen Play," said OnePlus. The pressure on OTT services to release new content more frequently may also go up. Also, OTT players too should not be happy just retaining users and will have to engage them more. Apart from films, KPMG in a report suggested OTT platforms look at gaming as an extension to ecosystem offerings. “OTT will look to bring their consumer’s value in other areas: from aggregating other third party content providers who are not competing with them to promoting and pushing other adjacent services, like fitness and food delivery apps, and education platforms,” said Lior Friedman, VP - global partnerships and strategy at Amdocs Media. So far, OnePlus has been teasing the OnePlus TV launch with a slow-reveal of bits of information about its first <keyword id="169786" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="smart-TV">smart TV</keyword>. We know that it will feature a 55-inch QLED display, although a previous report had confirmed that the OnePlus TV could come in sizes between 43 to 75-inches.
