The Indian security agencies are said to be monitoring it closely. However, it is important to note that <keyword id="807231" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bangladesh-Prime-Minister" source="Orion">Bangladesh Prime Minister</keyword> <keyword id="20024637" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sheikh-Hasina" source="keywords">Sheikh Hasina</keyword> is not on board the C-130 J transport aircraft which took off today from the <keyword id="6470443" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Hindon-air-base" source="Orion">Hindon air base</keyword>. According to sources, the <keyword id="6354759" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="bangladesh" source="Orion">Bangladesh</keyword> Air Force C-130J transport aircraft is flying with 7 military personnel in it towards its base in Bangladesh. Sheikh Hasina arrived in India on Monday evening after tendering her resignation. It is not clear if Sheikh Hasina will continue to stay in Delhi or move to another location later. Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday chaired an all-party meeting in Parliament and briefed the leaders about the ongoing developments in Bangladesh. Jaishankar briefed the leaders on how the issue had panned out in Bangladesh and the prevailing situation in the country. He also spoke about how Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina had moved to India and how India would take care of the Bangladeshi leader, sources from the all-party meeting told ANI. Jaishankar said that Sheikh Hasina is in India and the Indian government wants to give her time to let the Indian government know what her future course of action would be. Taking to X, S Jaishankar stated, "Briefed an All-Party meeting in Parliament today about the ongoing developments in Bangladesh. Appreciate the unanimous support and understanding that was extended." During the meeting, Jaishankar told the leaders that the central government was in touch with the Bangladesh Army as well. He said that it is a prevailing situation and the government will take appropriate action at the right time, according to sources. According to sources, the leaders in the party meeting were informed that there are 20000 Indian nationals in the country. According to sources, so far 8000 Indian nationals have come back. Jaishankar informed the meeting that the Indian government is in touch with Indian nationals and the High Commission there continues to operate. The leaders were informed that the focus is on minorities and that they should be protected, sources from the all-party meeting told ANI. Bangladesh is facing a fluid political situation as of now with Sheikh Hasina resigning from her post in the wake of mounting protests. The protests, majorly by students demanding an end to a quota system for government jobs, took the shape of anti-government protests.

After inaugurating the Bharat Drone Shakti-2023 exhibition, Defence Minister and Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari witnessed the prowess of the Indian drone industry. Bharat Drone Shakti 2023 hosted live aerial demonstrations of a variety of drone operations and applications by various drone companies. Addressing the gathering, Wing Commander Sonam Bakshi gave an opening to the live aerial demonstrations saying, "Wakif kaha zamana hamari udaan se, Wakif kaha zamana hamari udaan se vo aur the, Jo haar gaye aasaman se." What was on display The first demonstration displayed a compact system of <keyword id="94769" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="drones" source="Orion">drones</keyword> that can be carried on a motorbike. Special motorbikes are customised to carry unassembled drones. Kisan drones can be transported using motorbikes across rural terrain to introduce modern agricultural practices. Following this, the Defence Minister and Air Chief Marshal witnessed drones with the capability to carry 50kg-100 kg payload. Additionally, the officials also witnessed the display of a Kamikaze drone during Bharat Drone Shakti-2023 at the Hindon Airbase. Notably, the IAF, recognizing the potential of indigenous drone design and development, is collaborating with the Drone Federation of India (DFI) to jointly host Bharat Drone Shakti 2023. This event, scheduled for September 25 and 26, will take place at the IAF's Hindan airbase in Ghaziabad and will feature live aerial demonstrations. In India, the utilization of drones is on the rise, spanning across military and civilian applications. Drone technology has rapidly transformed both civil and defence sectors, enhancing efficiency, reducing risk exposure, and elevating capabilities, said a press release. The IAF has extensive experience in deploying Remotely Piloted Aircraft for Intelligence Surveillance and reconnaissance operations. To harness the burgeoning drone technology sector in India, the IAF initiated the Meher Baba Swarm Drone competition, showcasing its faith in the nation's drone capabilities, according to the release. Now, with Bharat Drone Shakti 2023, the IAF is poised to further leverage this expertise. Bharat Drone Shakti 2023 promises to spotlight the full potential of the Indian drone industry, with an impressive lineup of over 50 live aerial demonstrations. These demonstrations will encompass a diverse range of drone applications, including survey drones, agriculture drones, fire suppression drones, tactical surveillance drones, heavy-lift logistics drones, loitering munition systems, drone swarms, and counter-drone solutions, said the release. The event will also witness the active participation of more than 75 drone start-ups and corporate entities. Anticipated to draw approximately 5,000 attendees, Bharat Drone Shakti 2023 will serve as a convergence point for a wide spectrum of stakeholders. Representatives from central government agencies, state departments, public and private industries, armed forces, paramilitary forces, friendly foreign countries, academic institutions, students, and drone enthusiasts are expected to grace the event, said the release. This collaboration between the Indian Air Force and the Drone Federation of India underscores the commitment to advancing drone technology and its applications in India.  Boeing formally handed over the aircraft keys to Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa at a function in Pathankot. "The IAF has been flying helicopters since 1954. Since then there has been no looking back. We have proved our mettle in various missions. We have operated various types of helicopters in the past," said Dhanoa.
