<keyword id="16129" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="HTC">HTC</keyword> launched two smartphones-HTC Desire 10 Pro and HTC 10 evo- in India, with attractive designs and flagship features. 
 The <keyword id="3568012" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="htc-desire-10-pro">HTC Desire 10 Pro</keyword> comes with 5.5 full HD screen, packed with 3000 mAh bettery, 20 MP rear camera, 13 MP front camera, octa-core processor and empowered by HTC BoomSound. HTC claimed the smartphone has ultra-fast fingerprint sensor. 
 
The HTC Desire 10 Pro is priced at Rs 26, 490 in India. The smartphone comes with 64 GB storage, 4GB RAM, with expandable memory of 2TB. 
 
The camera is expected to give DSLR photo finish and has several modes to satisfy the photographer in you. There is electronic image stabilisation in HTC Desire 10, which will sort your problems of clicking photos or recording videos with shaky hands. 
 
HTC Desire 10 has auto-HDR mode for both the cameras. 
 Meanwhile, <keyword id="3873790" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="HTC-10-evo">HTC 10 evo</keyword> was also launched, which comes with 5.5 inch full-HD screen, 3,200 mah battery, 16MP rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation), laser auto focus and 13MP selfie camera. It runs on Android 7.0 nougat. This will be available in gun metal and pearl gold colours.

With the Chinese companies sensing the growing 4G market much before anybody else HTC believes it missed the bus on the great India 4G wave, Faisal Siddiqui, President-South Asia, HTC, “last year the sentiment changed, people moved from 3G to 4G very quickly and somewhere we missed the bus in terms of the product portfolio, most of our product for less than Rs. 15000 was 3G. So it took us some time to recalibrate.”

HTC has made sure to work on what works best as the 5.5-inch. 4G enabled Desire 10 Pro has a 20-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front camera with the Selfie panorama mode. It has also packed in new features like fingerprint sensor. The phone comes with 64 GB of internal storage, 4 GB RAM and an expandable storage slot that can hold a micro SD card of up to 2 TB. The smartphone is priced at Rs 26,490 and it will hit the stores around mid-December. 
 
Also the Android 7-based HTC 10 Evo has a 5.5 inch Quad HD display. The phone has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa core processor, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage space and a 2 TB micro SD card slot. Besides, it also has a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection auto focus, BSI sensor, optical image stabilisation, dual LED flash, 4K video recording ability as well as slow motion video recording ability. HTC is yet to announce the price for the phone. 
 
While the company took a major hit in India due to the heavy competition but it’s no longer the biggest challenge for HTC because now, almost like finding it’s calling, the company is back to doing what it does best which is innovate. 
 
The Taiwanese tech giant has been a major innovator in the smartphone device since its inception in 1997 starting from world’s first wireless touch and wireless device in 1998 to world’s first smartphone with keyboard to world’s first 3G smartphone and many more. But HTC knows the biggest pain for innovators is the competition that is lurking behind to copy the design and the impact of that certainly is huge Darren SNG, VP, Head of Global Product Marketing, HTC says “(Copying) impacted us without a doubt, copying is easier than innovating and it doesn’t take a huge R&amp;D team to copy, so there’s always a price to pay staying in the lead but you also get to drive the industry, challenging the norms, creating new experiences and that’s where the excitement is to us it’s not just about making money when you can improve lives, making money shouldn’t be the single focus.” 
 
Will the Taiwanese innovator be able to trump the price innovation of the Chinese companies, only time will tell.

The extra cash comes in the form of unused <keyword id="6608045" type="TECHNOLOGY" weightage="60" keywordseo="Cell-phones">cell phones</keyword>, which, according data released by <a href="http://www.sellcell.com/">SellCell.com</a> and OnePoll, adds up to $33.8 billion nationwide. 
That's a lot of cash to leave lying around the house. 
“Many Americans are looking for ways to earn some extra cash, especially in a sluggish economy and following the expensive holiday season," SellCell.com managing director Colin White said.
"So, it is very surprising that consumers are literally sitting on billions of potential dollars in their unused smartphones and feature phones, often stashed away in boxes at home."

About 20 percent of people reported not selling their old phones because "they're lazy," and another 20 percent said they're hanging on to the devices out of fear of jeopardizing their personal data by <keyword id="114175" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="recycling">recycling</keyword> them.

Neither of these are valid enough reasons to leave that much cash lying around. 
<h3>Here's how to get the most from old cell phones: </h3>
Sell them. Companies like <a href="http://www.sellcell.com/">SellCell</a>, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Electronics-Trade-In/b?ie=UTF8&amp;node=2226766011">Amazon</a>, <a href="http://www.gazelle.com/">Gazelle</a> and <a href="http://glyde.com/">Glyde</a> all offer trade-in value for old phones, offering about $50 for an <keyword id="6354427" type="CITY" weightage="60" keywordseo="Apple">Apple</keyword> iPhone 3G up to $600 for the most recent iPhone 5 64GB. For other popular phones, SellCell data shows the HTC EVO 4G goes for about $40, a Motorola DROID X brings in about $35 and a <keyword id="6354356" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="BlackBerry">BlackBerry</keyword> Torch 9800 can cash in for close to $100.
Trade them in. Almost all cell phone retailers will let customers bring in their old smartphones and trade them in for an upgrade. How much you get depends on the age, model and functionality of the phone, but it's a nice way to get a discount on a newer model. 
Donate them to a good cause. For those not interested in the money, several other sites accept cell phone donations for a good cause, including <a href="http://www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com/">Cell Phones for Soldiers</a>, <a href="http://aboutus.verizonwireless.com/commitment/community_programs/hopeline/">Verizon Hopeline</a> and <a href="http://911cellphonebank.org/">911cellphonebank.org</a>.
