Hill completed the impressive feat on one of the last plays of the game, finding teammate&#xa0;Monisha Neal for a three-pointer that would seal the win and secure Hill's 10th assist on the night.</span></p><p><span>The feat had not been accomplished since 1993, and got on "SportsCenter" for her accomplishment.</span></p><p>After the game, coach Freddie Murray praised Hill for her team-first play, saying "<span>She is very unselfish. She had to do a lot more last year, because we didn't have a lot of pieces. Now she is surrounded by players who feed off what she gives us. To get a quadruple-double is just a testament to the hard work she puts in."</span></p><p>Hill was understandably proud of her accomplishment, sharing praise through social media throughout the day, which included a shout out from the WNBA.</p><p>Grambling State is 5-8 overall but a strong 2-0 in conference play at the start of their SWAC schedule. Grambling State Football Team Is Threatening To Boycott Saturday's Game

<ul class="summary-list"><li>Gregory Eaton is one of three known fans who have been to every Super Bowl.</li><li>He has never hosted a Super Bowl party, but he does own a soul food diner and has thoughts on food.</li></ul><p>Gregory Eaton is just one of three surviving members of the "<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Never_Miss_a_Super_Bowl_Club" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Never Miss A Super Bowl Club</a>," the only fans to attend every big game.</p><p>On the eve of Eaton's 57th Super Bowl, Insider caught up with him and talked about how the streak started, how much the game has changed (<a href="https://www.insider.com/super-bowl-halftime-show-performers-2018-2">a lot</a>), how he gets his tickets every year, never seeing his favorite team in the big game, and what he would serve if he ever hosted a Super Bowl party (<a href="https://www.facebook.com/GregorysSoulFood/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">he knows a thing or two about food</a>).</p><p>Nobody is sure how many members of the Never Miss A Super Bowl Club there are. Three of the original "official" members met by chance <a href="https://www.startribune.com/three-men-52-years-and-a-vow-to-always-be-at-the-super-bowl/472267413/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">while standing in line for a Johnny Carson show</a>. That group later encountered a fourth member.</p><p>Those four known members gained fame in 2011 when they appeared in a Visa Super Bowl commercial narrated by Morgan Freeman. </p><iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vk8CWvFZOwI" frameborder="0"></iframe><p>Eaton was not part of the commercial and two of the four from the commercial have since died. However, <a href="https://www.startribune.com/three-men-52-years-and-a-vow-to-always-be-at-the-super-bowl/472267413/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">he finally met the other surviving members at the 2017 Super Bowl</a> in Houston, and officially joined the club as the fifth known member and one of only three who still have their streak going. </p><p>One of the members, Tom Henschel, had his streak nearly end early on in New Orleans in 1972 when he was hospitalized the morning of the game.</p><p>"They wheeled me up to a room, and a Catholic nun came in and asked if there was anything she could get me," <a href="https://www.startribune.com/three-men-52-years-and-a-vow-to-always-be-at-the-super-bowl/472267413/">Henchel told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune in 2018</a>. "'No sister,' I said. 'But I have to get to the game today.' "</p><p>"As soon as she walked out, I pulled out the IVs, took off the oxygen and got the hell out of that hospital," Henschel said. </p><p>The three remaining members now get together every year for the big game. </p><div type="image" title="Never Miss A Super Bowl Club" height="1667" width="2500" msid="97841698" hostid="261" sizebytes="226388"></div><h2>Eaton's streak began with some luck</h2><p>In the 1960s and early 1970s, the championship game between the rival NFL and AFL was not nearly as hyped as it is today. The first game wasn't even a sellout, and the halftime show featured marching bands from the University of Arizona and Grambling College instead of superstars like Beyonce, Prince, and Rihanna.</p><p>Eaton was quick to remind us that it wasn't called the Super Bowl that first year. Instead, it was the "First World Championship Game."</p><p>Eaton's streak began with a little bit of luck. </p><p>Born and raised in Lansing, Michigan, Eaton's family often hosted Black players at Michigan State University, and he became good friends with several of them. One of those players was defensive back Herb Adderly, who would watch Eaton play football in high school.</p><p>Adderly went on to play with the Green Bay Packers, and when the team secured their spot in that first big game, he gave Eaton a ticket. When Adderly and the Packers returned for Super Bowl II, Eaton attended the game with some other Lansing businessmen, and a tradition was born. </p><h2>The tradition comes at a cost</h2><p>One of the big changes over the years has been the cost. The <a href="https://sports.yahoo.com/much-did-first-super-bowl-102328672.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">average ticket for the first Super Bowl was about $12</a>, which would be about $110 in 2023 dollars. </p><p>Now tickets run several thousands of dollars, if you can even find them. It's close to <a href="https://www.bizjournals.com/philadelphia/news/2023/02/08/eagles-tickets-super-bowl-secondary-market.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">$6,000 on the secondary market for the cheapest tickets</a>.</p><p>But Eaton and his other club members are lucky. The NFL offers each member of the "Never Miss A Super Bowl Club" two tickets to every Super Bowl. They pay face value.</p><p>While Eaton has never missed a Super Bowl, he has also never seen his favorite team, the Detroit Lions, play in the game. The Lions are one of four active NFL teams to never play in the Super Bowl.</p><p>He's still confident he will see them in the Super Bowl someday. </p><h2>Eaton has recommendations for party food</h2><p>Eaton has been to every Super Bowl in person, so he might seem like an odd choice to ask for Super Bowl-party food recommendations. But he knows a thing or two about food as <a href="https://www.facebook.com/GregorysSoulFood/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the owner of Gregory's Soul Food in Lansing, Michigan</a>.</p><p>When Insider caught up with Eaton a few days before his 57th Super Bowl, we had to ask what dishes are <a href="https://www.insider.com/super-bowl-parties-rolling-stone-gronk-beach-sports-illustrated-2023-2">must-haves for a Super Bowl party</a>. </p><p>"At my house, I would definitely have some fried chicken and chicken wings," Eaton told Insider. "I'd have some collard greens. I'd have some candy yams, and for dessert, I'd have some peach cobbler."</p><p>Eaton also said to make sure you have plenty of finger foods.</p><p>"I'm making catfish nuggets so you can pick 'em up with your fingers."</p>

A man who's been to every Super Bowl in history says he's still never seen his team play in the big game

<ul class="summary-list"><li>A Black <keyword id="11898822" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="army" source="Orion">Army</keyword> officer is pursuing legal action after a <keyword id="11910052" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="louisiana" source="Orion">Louisiana</keyword> <keyword id="12307923" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="casino" source="Orion">casino</keyword> employee denied her entry.</li><li>Deja Harrison said the Harrah's <keyword id="11972717" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="new-orleans" source="Orion">New Orleans</keyword> guard claimed she wasn't the person on her military ID.</li></ul><p>For Deja Harrison, a visit to a Louisiana casino earlier this month escalated when an employee denied her entry, saying she was not the person on her military ID. Now the 23-year-old US Army second lieutenant is pursuing legal action, <a href="https://www.newsnationnow.com/race-in-america/black-army-officer-suing-harrahs-new-orleans-after-casino-entry-denial/">NewsNation Now reported</a>.</p><p>On October 5, Harrison and her stepbrother went to Harrah's New Orleans to celebrate his birthday. When the electronic scanner at the casino failed to read her state driver's license, she showed the guard her military ID, Harrison told Insider on Wednesday.</p><p>"He immediately looked at my rank, and he was like, 'This ID is fake. This isn't you, and there's no way possible that you made this rank in a short period of time,'" she said.</p><p>Harrison, a recent graduate of Grambling State University, said the employee's remarks were hard to hear, especially after her efforts during the summer.</p><p>"I just commissioned the summer. I just came from a 38-day training, sleepless nights, 16-hour days, walking 12 miles a day with heavy equipment on, and I was just like, wow, this man is telling me I didn't do this," she said. "I've worked so hard to be in the military and to be where I am now."</p><h2>Harrison posted a video of the encounter on Twitter</h2><p>In addition to both IDs, Harrison showed the guard a military pay stub and her vaccination card, she said. She started to record the confrontation and <a href="https://twitter.com/dejaharrisontv/status/1445490578070798336">posted the video on Twitter</a>.</p><p>"You said I had a fake military ID, right?" Harrison said in the video.</p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet blockquote" data-lang="en" data-cards="" data-conversation="">-Deja Harrison  (@dejaharrisontv) <a href="https://twitter.com/mims/statuses/1445490578070798336?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 5, 2021</a></blockquote><p>"I'm not saying that the ID is fake. Actually, I'm a second lieutenant now," Harrison said while showing the employee her two valid IDs.</p><p>At the end of the video, the employee said he was calling the New Orleans Police Department. <a href="https://www.wdsu.com/article/us-army-second-lieutenant-files-civil-rights-complaint-against-harrahs-casino/37898324">WDSU reported</a> that it reviewed the local 911 database and that it did not appear the casino called the police during that time.</p><p>Harrison told Insider she was humiliated and scared as she <a href="https://twitter.com/dejaharrisontv/status/1445760690992472064">waited hours</a> for the police to arrive.</p><p>"Honestly, because of this, I haven't been getting sleep," she said.</p><h2>Harrah's New Orleans issued a statement on October 7</h2><p>Harrah's New Orleans did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment, but it addressed the incident in a public <a href="https://twitter.com/harrahsnola/status/1446173451723608066">statement</a> last week.</p><p>It said its employees check the IDs of guests "who appear to be under 30 years old."</p><p>"Our Team Members are trained to evaluate identification in accordance with local regulations. In this case, Ms. Harrison, who appeared to be under 30, presented a Louisiana driver's license that did not clear our electronic verification system," the statement said.</p><p>The statement continued: "When asked for an alternative form of identification, she presented a military ID card, but the information on the ID card did not match the information she verbally communicated to our security officers. On Tuesday, he<a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-63881095"> spent time with troops in the eastern Donetsk region</a>, around the town of Bakhmut, which is now a focus in the war. </p><p>Zelenskyy's words, continue to inspire his fellow Ukrainians and others. </p><p>"You can temporarily occupy the territory of our state. But you definitely cannot occupy the Ukrainian people," Zelenskyy said in September at a visit to the recaptured city of Izyum in northeast Ukraine. </p><p>His resilience is just one of several effective leadership traits the Ukrainian chief possesses, according to business consultants who focus on management.</p><p>And while leading a country is certainly different from leading a company, there are similarities. Like presidents, <keyword id="11915157" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="ceos" source="Orion">CEOs</keyword> are responsible for overseeing and taking care of people. It's true. But Russia will not be able to stop the course of history," he said, declaring that "mankind and the international law are stronger," in a virtual speech to the <a href="https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/watch-live-ukrainian-president-zelenskyy-addresses-the-2022-united-nations-general-assembly">2022 United Nations General Assembly</a> in September. </p><p>Zelenskyy represents a new era of crisis leadership, according to professors of international relations and business. Intuit CEO Sasan Goodarzi's <a href="https://affiliate.insider.com?postID=624db40d7860f167482ded4e&amp;site=bi&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.linkedin.com%2Fpulse%2Ftime-stand-together-sasan-goodarzi%2F">2020 memo</a> after the murder of George Floyd was written in plain language. In April, the Ukrainian leader also <a href="https://egyptindependent.com/zelensky-removes-two-top-ukrainian-generals-says-he-does-not-have-time-to-deal-with-all-the-traitors/">removed</a> several top generals, calling them "anti-heroes."</p><p>"Now, I do not have time to deal with all the traitors. But gradually, they will all be punished," <a href="https://thehill.com/policy/international/3256034-zelensky-two-ukrainian-generals-dismissed-for-being-traitors/">he said</a> in a speech.</p><p>"Every CEO has one core assignment," Derrick Anderson, assistant professor of public affairs at Arizona State University, said. "President Zelenskyy remains focused on his core assignment. He has already demonstrated a commitment to prioritize loyalty and is starting to move key leaders in and out of critical roles." </p><p>Zelenskyy is also unafraid of taking nontraditional media opportunities to make his plea for support.
