The company has received an order for disallowance of <keyword id="19980589" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="input-tax-credit" source="keywords">input tax credit</keyword> for FY 2019-20 from the Office of the <keyword id="20263022" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="gst-officer" source="keywords">GST Officer</keyword>, <keyword id="22830157" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Government-of-NCT-of-Delhi" source="keywords" meta.keywordsubtype="org" meta.entityname="Government of NCT of Delhi" meta.hostid="83" meta.entityid="Government of NCT of Delhi">Government of NCT of Delhi</keyword>, the two-wheeler major said in a <keyword id="19954258" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="regulatory-filing" source="keywords">regulatory filing</keyword>. The company said the tax demand is for Rs 9,38,66,513, interest Rs 7,32,15,880 and penalty Rs 93,86,651 as per the notice. Based on the company's assessment, the tax demand is not maintainable in law, it added. The input tax credit disallowed by the office of the GST Officer, New Delhi, was rightfully claimed by the company as per the provisions of the GST law but disallowed on account of the supplier's non-compliance, which is not attributable to the company, <keyword id="7029" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Hero" source="Orion">Hero</keyword> MotoCorp said. Accordingly, the company shall take appropriate steps, including filing an appeal, it added. There is no material impact on financials, operations or other activities of the company, Hero MotoCorp said.

Flipkart, Amazon, Zomato and others partner with Delhi government to deliver via electric vehicles

Union Water Resources Minister <keyword id="42642" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Uma-Bharti">Uma Bharti</keyword> today promised to work pro-actively to cleanse the river <keyword id="6354936" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Yamuna">Yamuna</keyword>. 
 
"I had a meeting with Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and discussed cleaning of Yamuna river which is flowing through the national capital. A wing has been set up with DDA for the purpose. The officials of the wing will meet us ( Ministry of Water Resources) for sorting out issues concerned," she said. 
 Extending full cooperation to the Government of NCT Delhi in making Yamuna pollution free, she said that a meeting for this purpose would be held in a couple of days. The <keyword id="557073" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="water-resources-ministry">Water Resources Ministry</keyword> had already constituted a separate committee for cleansing the river in Delhi. 
Bharti also announced that 2015-16 would be observed as the year of 'Water Conservation.’ 
 
"We have planned to announce 2015-16 as the year of water conservation... We are ready to interlink rivers keeping environment in mind and we can do it in 10 years," the minister said.

New Delhi, Apr 2 () Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government on Thursday launched a dedicated helpline number on WhatsApp to ensure that citizens have an easy access to credible information around the COVID-19 crisis."...the Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of NCT of Delhi has launched a dedicated WhatsApp helpline number - +91 88000 07722. This service is free-to-use and will act as a central source for accurate, trustworthy and up-to-date information on the ongoing pandemic," WhatsApp said in a statement.To use the helpline, users need to save the number in their phone contacts and then text 'Hi' in a WhatsApp message to get started. This service has been built on the WhatsApp Business API, using Infobip India and will be available in English. The total number of coronavirus cases in Delhi stands at 219 including four deaths. Overall, there are over 1,900 cases of the deadly pandemic that has caused more than 50 deaths across India. The WhatsApp helpline is an automated 'chatbot' service that will allow citizens to get verified answers to questions about coronavirus from the government health department within 24 hours, the statement said.The service will provide information on topics such as coronavirus prevention and symptoms along with tips on containment, other service helpline numbers, applying for e-passes and general information on measures that the government is taking to tackle this crisis, it added."The Delhi government is happy to partner with WhatsApp to establish a dedicated Coronavirus helpline for its residents to ensure that all your queries related to Coronavirus are answered with credible and accurate information. Hence the party that wins from the majority of constituencies in Delhi was only seen forming the government. During 2014 general elections for the parliament, the BJP won from all the seven seats in Delhi and eventually marched proudly to form the government. New <keyword id="19900881" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="delhi" source="keywords">Delhi</keyword>, The Delhi government on Tuesday issued fresh guidelines for handling end-of-life vehicles in public places, stipulating a penalty of Rs 10,000 for four-wheelers and Rs 5,000 for two-wheelers to be imposed on owners of impounded vehicles before being released. According to the guidelines, continuous enforcement drives should be conducted to phase out such vehicles from public places in the national capital and daily reports sent to the environment department for onward submission to the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM). The government has classified the release procedure of impounded vehicles under two categories -- those who wish to shift their vehicle out of Delhi-NCR and those who wish to park the vehicle in private spaces which are not shared parking places. "On plying and parking of ELVs in public place in NCT of Delhi, once impounded for the first time it can be released on the basis of submission of an undertaking that vehicle will not be plied or parked in any public place within the territory of Delhi and will be removed from the city...," the guidelines read "In case of 4-wheeler, a penalty of Rs 10,000 along with towing charge and parking fee as notified in <keyword id="20667071" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="delhi-maintenance-and-management-of-parking-places-rules" source="keywords">Delhi Maintenance and Management of Parking Places Rules</keyword>, 2019, shall be charged before releasing of such ELVs. In case of 2-wheeler, a penalty of Rs 5,000 along with towing charge and parking fee as notified in Parking Rules 2019 shall be charged...," it said. According to the guidelines, any end-of-life vehicle impounded for the second time and transport vehicles running on diesel fuel and aged more than 10 years old cannot be released. The application for the release of a vehicle along with necessary documents should be submitted within three weeks of impounding of the vehicle and an online platform will be developed for this purpose, it said. According to the guidelines, impounded vehicles will be scrapped in case of three scenarios -- non-submission of application for release within three weeks of impounding of the vehicle, rejection of application submitted for release and impounding of the same vehicle for the second time. All scrap value shall be paid through digital mode only to the bank account in the name of the vehicle owner within 15 days of the vehicle being accepted by the <keyword id="20663769" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="registered-vehicles-scrapping-facility" source="keywords">Registered Vehicles Scrapping Facility</keyword>, it added.
