"And my husband and the best friend were the ones who were like, 'This could lead to complications.' And I was like, 'I just feel like you need to procreate.'"</p><p>Goodwin added that wanted to arrange it because she would love to see "more little Josh's in the world." </p><p>She continued: "The best friend and the husband were like, 'Wow, that's really sweet Ginny. Like what happens?' And then they explained like all the logistics, and I was like, 'Look, there's turkey basters.' It's not like you're not gonna be in the kid's life. Like you're in my best friend's life."</p><p>Representatives for Goodwin did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment. </p><p>People reported that the couple got married in April 2014 after meeting on the set of the ABC series "Once Upon a Time." Goodwin played Mary Margaret Blanchard/Snow White, while Dallas played David Nolan/Prince Charming. </p><p>They share two children, Oliver Finlay, 7, and Hugo Wilson, 5.</p><p>Last year, Goodwin spoke about the importance of knowing family history after discovering unknown details about her ancestors on TLC's "Who Do You Think You Are?" </p><p>"It's important for my son [Oliver] to know his history," she told <a href="https://people.com/tv/ginnifer-goodwin-discovers-family-secrets/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a>. "Life experiences become this patchwork, like a quilt that we wrap around us and our ancestors are very much a part of that. My great-grandparents didn't get the Goodwin love, so I feel like it's important for Oliver to somehow give them that love retroactively." </p>

<p>During this week's episode, an <span>animated white rabbit graphic for the show's "</span>Wonderland"<em> </em><span>spin-off appeared and drew <span>an unfortunately-placed "rabbit hole" around Snow White's crotch.</span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span>The unfortunately timed moment came just after Snow White, played by actress <keyword id="21411" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Ginnifer-Goodwin">Ginnifer Goodwin</keyword>, uttered the line: "You're searching for something powerful enough to vanquish the queen." </span></span></span></p>

<p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Disney</span></p><p class="caption">"Zootopia."</p></div><p></p></div></div>Following the spectacular multi-week box office performance by Fox's "Deadpool" in February, Disney's "Zootopia" is showing the same dominance in March as the animated hit that mixes social commentary with a lovable bunny's quest to be a cop is number one at the weekend box office for a third-straight week with an estimated $38 million, according to <a href="https://twitter.com/ERCboxoffice/status/711570857169199104" target="_blank">Exhibitor Relations</a>.</p><p>The film took in $10 million on Friday and then $17 million on Saturday.</p><p>Through 17 days the movie, which includes the voices of Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, is outpacing previous non-Pixar Disney animated hit "Frozen" by 51%. And is 6% ahead of Pixar hit "Finding Nemo," according to <a href="http://deadline.com/2016/03/allegiant-beat-by-zootopia-weekend-box-office-miracles-from-heaven-1201723263/" target="_blank">Deadline</a>. </p><p>Coming in a disappointing second place this weekend is "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" with an estimated <a href="https://twitter.com/BoxOffice/status/711563925083561984" target="_blank">$29.05 million</a>. That's the lowest opening for the franchise. 'Zootopia' dominates the box office for a third-straight weekend while 'Allegiant' bombs

<p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div>Walt Disney Animation Studios has been doing very well recently flexing its muscles alongside the other animation house Disney distributes, and the generally agreed-upon favorite: Pixar.<p>"Frozen" showed it can bring in the crowds like Pixar's "Toy Story" franchise, and now Disney Studio's newest release, "Zootopia," proves it can also make a family-friendly tale with a strong message, like Pixar's "WALL-E" or "Inside Out."</p><p>Animated movies&#xa0;have always had deep-seated morals behind them, whether overcoming fears or learning to be yourself. But recently the messages have been louder and more relevant to contemporary society. There's the commentary on caring for the environment in "WALL-E" and now "Zootopia" takes on issues of identity and race.</p><p>"Zootopia" is set in a world where both prey and predator live in harmony. And not just that, the animals have evolved to have human characteristics and live in a metropolis, called Zootopia. But from the start, you can tell that directors Byron Howard ("Tangled"), Rich Moore ("Wreck-It Ralph"), and Jared Bush are going to be driving home thoughts on our own world.</p><p>We get to know&#xa0;a bunny named Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) as a youngster who has big ambitions to be a "bunny cop." Though her parents try to make her understand that having big dreams is not healthy and that she should concentrate on staying home on the farm.</p><p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div>This makes sense when Judy tries to help out a few small animals being bullied by a large fox, and gets beaten up by the fox.<p>Yes, this is a Disney movie.</p><p>Fast-forward 15 years, and we see Judy training to be a cop, a small bunny among large tigers and elephants. She graduates top in her class and is stationed at the epicenter of Zootopia, a melting pot of species large and small.</p><p>But before Judy heads off to the big city, her father gives her fox repellent. After offering "fatherly advice" about why foxes can't be trusted, she reluctantly takes the spray and heads off.</p><p>The moment seems meaningless and silly. But in fact, it's the basis of the whole movie.</p><p>"Zootopia" is as much a commentary on race and bigotry as it is a fun romp through an imaginary world.</p><p>As the story evolves, finding Judy in search of a missing otter with the help of a shifty fox named Nick (Jason Bateman), this topical exploration bubbles to the surface.</p><p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div>First a&#xa0;tiger cop says Judy is so cute, and Judy retorts that only bunnies can call other bunnies that. Then Judy explains to the media that the reason a handful of predators have gone "savage" is due to what's in their DNA. In essence, because their ancestors were killers, it's safe to assume they must be as well.<p>This dive into the topic of stereotypes and the harm they cause&#xa0;is a triumph by Disney that hopefully encourages parents and their children to have discussions while heading back home from the theater. (Parents will certainly have to engage in&#xa0;a talk about Nick's flashback scene.)</p><p>Yes, movies should be escapism, and "Zootopia" is filled with incredible computer animation, very funny jokes, and wonderful characters. But it also helps young people today to have some reality seep into the content they endlessly consume.</p><p>What's great is that "Zootopia" isn't scared to raise issues, even highly sensitive ones. Review: Disney's 'Zootopia' is a must-see that rivals the greatness of 'Inside Out'

<p>The presence of <keyword id="6412373" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="celebrities">celebrities</keyword> creates hype for the collection and lends credibility to the brand. </p>
<p>But designers are slashing budgets and aren't dishing out for the big names anymore, reports <a href="http://fashionista.com/2013/02/why-celebrities-are-not-getting-paid-as-much-to-sit-front-row/">Hayley Phelan at Fashionista</a>. </p>
<p>The "golden age" of paying celebrities happened several years ago, <a href="http://fashionista.com/2013/02/why-celebrities-are-not-getting-paid-as-much-to-sit-front-row/">Phelan writes.</a> </p>
<p><span>"In 2008, for instance, Rihanna, Fergie, Zoe Saldana, Malin Ackerman, Amy Smart, Brittany Murphy, Jaime King, Mandy Moore, Joss Stone, Joy Bryant, and Ginnifer Goodwin all attended at least one Max Azria show," Fashionista reports. "In 2012, the brand pulled less A-listers: Olivia Palermo, Jessica White, Petra Nemcova, Whitney Port, and Daisy Fuentes."</span></p>
<p><span>While tighter budgets contributed somewhat to the trend, a bigger factor at play is the over-saturation of <keyword id="1743" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="fashion-week">Fashion Week</keyword>. </span></p>

Celebrities Aren't Getting Paid As Much To Sit In The Front Row At Fashion Week

<p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Disney</span></p><p class="caption">"Zootopia."</p></div><p></p></div></div>Animated movies go through a lot of changes before they hit theaters, but "Zootopia" became a whole different movie.</p><p>After spending two years developing "Zootopia," director Byron Howard, Walt Disney Animation head John Lasseter, and the studio's "story trust" - creators at Disney who give candid input about projects - made a risky decision: They would completely revamp their story by changing the prominence of the two lead characters, and in turn give "Zootopia" a new message.</p><p>The movie had a hook Lasseter loved: talking animals dressed in human clothes living in a world where predators and prey interact happily with one another. But it turned out that the protagonist, a fox named Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman), was a bit too dark and snarky.</p><p>So a year and a half before the movie was to be in theaters, Wilde was demoted to sidekick and the former supporting role became the lead: a bunny cop named Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin).</p><p>The decision, dangerously late in a project's life in the animation world, turned out to be rewarding both financially and critically. "Zootopia" became a surprise hit for Disney, taking in <a href="http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=disney2016.htm" target="_blank">over $1 billion worldwide</a> in its theatrical run, and after appearing on many year-end best lists, the movie has been <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/oscar-nominations-2017-1">nominated for the best animated feature Oscar</a>, for which it's a frontrunner, after taking home the Golden Globe.</p><p>--</p><p>But perhaps the most satisfying part of the "Zootopia" success is the power of its social commentary, especially now that Donald Trump is officially the 45th president of the United States.</p><p>Yes, "Zootopia" has all the Disney hallmarks with adorable characters and lush animation, but what's caused audiences and critics to gush is the way it addresses stereotypes and other social issues from the human world that seem more pressing in light of Trump's election win and presidency, in which he continues to be divisive.</p><p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Frazer Harrison/Getty</span></p><p class="caption">(L-R) Byron Howard and Rich Moore after winning the best animation Golden Globe.</p></div><p></p></div></div>"We examined these topics because this is real and these movies, especially for young people, they are fairy tales that have the purpose of preparing young people for the world ahead of them," Rich Moore, a member of Disney's story trust who later came on as a director of "Zootopia," recently told Business Insider. "We're showing them what some of the pitfalls and dangers of life are, but coming out on the other end with a feeling of hope."</p><p>The idea to confront race and class came early on in the production, long before Trump announced his bid for president. It arrived when the department heads took a trip to Kenya to observe the wildlife they would be creating for the movie, and they witnessed a moment that would stay with them throughout the production.</p><p>"The group was observing animals around the watering hole, and it was predators and prey alike drinking water and living in harmony at that moment because there's kind of a social understanding between them that they all need water," Moore said. "And we all thought that was an interesting social handshake in the animal world that is very much like the human world. In a city there can be people who don't see eye to eye and have different points of view but we put them aside and live together. But that doesn't mean those feelings go away. So we thought what if 'Zootopia' became a story about injustice, discrimination, as well as racism? We didn't just want to tell another funny animal movie."</p><p>But making the city of Zootopia a diverse melting pot hit a snag when the movie's main protagonist, at the time Nick Wilde, came off the wrong way.</p><p>"The tone was suffering at that time," Moore said. "The city felt really oppressive. We wanted to have a city with a problem but at its core by the end you would feel that the city was going to be okay. But in this version of the story it felt like Zootopia was a really bad place because we were seeing Nick being oppressed and being put down."</p><p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Disney</span></p><p class="caption">Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps in "Zootopia."</p></div><p></p></div></div>So when the creators would usually put the final touches on an animated movie for its release, "Zootopia" went through a major overhaul.</p><p>Making Hopps the protagonist fit perfectly into the conventions the movie was trying to break: an idealistic bunny (prey) determined to join a police force filled with large tigers, wolves, and elephants (predators). And the female character was no longer relying on her male counterpart.</p><p>But the last thing the filmmakers wanted was to feel preachy. As the other "Zootopia" director Byron Howard puts it, "We never wanted the end of the film to be like, 'Judy Hopps solved racism.'"</p><p>But since Trump's successful but historically contentious presidential campaign, in which he was accused of using racist rhetoric, the movie has taken on a greater importance in showing how a community of different people with different views can unify.</p><p>"Even with the Trump presidency, no matter what side of the fence you're on, we owe it to future generations to make good decisions to try to work together and understand each other and I think that's what the film is trying to say," Howard said.</p><p>"I am really excited for the art in the years ahead," Moore added. "Historically they always reflect and comment on the world around them. Our leader doesn't feel like a unifier right now so imagine what kinds of books and what kinds of paintings and what kinds of songs and what kinds of movies we're going to see during these next four years."</p><p>In fact, "Zootopia" has already inspired one artist. While on tour in 2016, Cat Stevens ended his shows <a href="https://twitter.com/wdwtodaypodcast/status/780997376681082880?lang=en" target="_blank">quoting the speech Judy gives at the end of the movie</a>.</p><p>"This would lead into him playing '<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sjSHazjrWg&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;t=48s" target="_blank">Peace Train</a>,'" Moore said, referring to one of Stevens' '70s hits. <p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Disney</span></p><p class="caption">"Zootopia."</p></div><p></p></div></div>Animated movies go through a lot of changes before they hit theaters, but "Zootopia" became a whole different movie.</p><p>After spending two years developing "Zootopia," director Byron Howard, Walt Disney Animation head John Lasseter, and the studio's "story trust" - creators at Disney who give candid input about projects - made a risky decision: They would completely revamp their story by changing the prominence of the two lead characters, and in turn give "Zootopia" a new message.</p><p>The movie had a hook Lasseter loved: talking animals dressed in human clothes living in a world where predators and prey interact happily with one another. But it turned out that the protagonist, a fox named Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman), was a bit too dark and snarky.</p><p>So a year and a half before the movie was to be in theaters, Wilde was demoted to sidekick and the former supporting role became the lead: a bunny cop named Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin).</p><p>The decision, dangerously late in a project's life in the animation world, turned out to be rewarding both financially and critically. "Zootopia" became a surprise hit for Disney, taking in <a href="http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=disney2016.htm" target="_blank">over $1 billion worldwide</a> in its theatrical run, and after appearing on many year-end best lists, the movie recently won the Golden Globe for best animated movie and is hoping for a best animation win (and maybe even a best picture nomination) at the Oscars.</p><p>But perhaps the most satisfying part of the "Zootopia" success is the power of its social commentary, especially as Donald Trump is about to be sworn in as president of the United States.</p><p>Yes, "Zootopia" has all the Disney hallmarks with adorable characters and lush animation, but what's caused audiences and critics to gush is the way it addresses stereotypes and other social issues from the human world that seem more pressing in light of Trump's presidential run.</p><p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Frazer Harrison/Getty</span></p><p class="caption">(L-R) Byron Howard and Rich Moore after winning the best animation Golden Globe.</p></div><p></p></div></div>"We examined these topics because this is real and these movies, especially for young people, they are fairy tales that have the purpose of preparing young people for the world ahead of them," Rich Moore, a member of Disney's story trust who later came on as a director of "Zootopia," recently told Business Insider. "We're showing them what some of the pitfalls and dangers of life are, but coming out on the other end with a feeling of hope."</p><p>The idea to confront race and class came early on in the production, long before Trump announced his bid for president. It arrived when the department heads took a trip to Kenya to observe the wildlife they would be creating for the movie, and they witnessed a moment that would stay with them throughout the production.</p><p>"The group was observing animals around the watering hole, and it was predators and prey alike drinking water and living in harmony at that moment because there's kind of a social understanding between them that they all need water," Moore said. "And we all thought that was an interesting social handshake in the animal world that is very much like the human world. In a city there can be people who don't see eye to eye and have different points of view but we put them aside and live together. But that doesn't mean those feelings go away. So we thought what if 'Zootopia' became a story about injustice, discrimination, as well as racism? We didn't just want to tell another funny animal movie."</p><p>But making the city of Zootopia a diverse melting pot hit a snag when the movie's main protagonist, at the time Nick Wilde, came off the wrong way.</p><p>"The tone was suffering at that time," Moore said. "The city felt really oppressive. We wanted to have a city with a problem but at its core by the end you would feel that the city was going to be okay. But in this version of the story it felt like Zootopia was a really bad place because we were seeing Nick being oppressed and being put down."</p><p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Disney</span></p><p class="caption">Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps in "Zootopia."</p></div><p></p></div></div>So when the creators would usually put the final touches on an animated movie for its release, "Zootopia" went through a major overhaul.</p><p>Making Hopps the protagonist fit perfectly into the conventions the movie was trying to break: an idealistic bunny (prey) determined to join a police force filled with large tigers, wolves, and elephants (predators). And the female character was no longer relying on her male counterpart.</p><p>But the last thing the filmmakers wanted was to feel preachy. As the other "Zootopia" director Byron Howard puts it, "We never wanted the end of the film to be like, 'Judy Hopps solved racism.'"</p><p>But since Trump's successful but historically contentious presidential campaign, the movie has taken on a greater importance in showing how a community of different people with different views can unify.</p><p>"Even with the Trump presidency, no matter what side of the fence you're on, we owe it to future generations to make good decisions to try to work together and understand each other and I think that's what the film is trying to say," Howard said.</p><p>"I am really excited for the art in the years ahead," Moore added. "Historically they always reflect and comment on the world around them. Our leader doesn't feel like a unifier right now so imagine what kinds of books and what kinds of paintings and what kinds of songs and what kinds of movies we're going to see during these next four years."</p><p>In fact, "Zootopia" has already inspired one artist. While on tour in 2016, Cat Stevens ended his shows <a href="https://twitter.com/wdwtodaypodcast/status/780997376681082880?lang=en" target="_blank">quoting the speech Judy gives at the end of the movie</a>.</p><p>"This would lead into him playing '<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sjSHazjrWg&amp;feature=youtu.be&amp;t=48s" target="_blank">Peace Train</a>,'" Moore said, referring to one of Stevens' '70s hits.
