The COVID-19 pandemic left its mark on every industry in 2020, but the telecom sector emerged stronger. It was a busy year as telecom companies hired new talent, leading to employment growth of 15%. This will get even better in 2021. “We expect to see a 18-20% growth in employment opportunities in the telecom sector in 2021. He expects the industry-wide average to hover around the 18-20% mark in 2021. TeamLease offers temporary staffing services and human resources to various industries. “India will take center stage with regard to maintaining network services , optimization and development of internet along with associated networks as well as research and development of global delivery centers,” Vohra said, explaining that the vast consumer market and the talent pool in India make it ripe for making giant leaps in the global telecom space. These will be the most sought-after jobs in the Indian telecom industry in 2021 According to Vohra, the most sought-after jobs in the Indian telecom industry in 2021 will be RF engineers, fiber laying, testers, quality check engineers, and field engineers, among others. He said that these roles would fetch up to ₹3.75 lakh per annum, with allowances on top. The new hiring will be used towards operating, maintaining and optimizing the existing 3G and 4G infrastructure, as well as testing and rolling out 5G services, Vohra further explained. BSNL’s 4G upgrade to give a further boost to telecom jobs Further elaborating, Vohra mentioned that the Indian telecom sector would see buoyant growth in both 4G and 5G arenas. The growth in 4G will be for two reasons – expanding the network capacities and the state-run telco BSNL rolling out tenders to upgrade its network to 4G finally. Briskly expanding his commodity trading company into a coal–to–port-to-energy conglomerate, he is the only Indian to have built not one, but seven companies with a market cap of one lakh crore,” said Anas Rahman Junaid, MD and chief researcher, Hurun India. The rapid rise in the value of his seven listed companies – nine now, with the addition of Ambuja Cements and ACC – has helped Adani zoom past Ambani. “In 2012, Adani’s wealth was hardly one-sixth of Ambani’s wealth and no one could imagine that he would overtake Ambani to become the richest man in India in ten years,” said Junaid. Hike appoints legal and finance experts to strengthen workforce

<keyword id="1868750" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Hike-Messenger">Hike Messenger</keyword>, India’s only homegrown and fastest growing messaging app, announced that <keyword id="3246266" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rajesh-Rudraradhya">Rajesh Rudraradhya</keyword> has joined its leadership team as the Vice President and <keyword id="301365" type="POSITION" weightage="100" keywordseo="head-of-engineering">Head of Engineering</keyword>. 
 Rajesh will report to Founder and CEO, <keyword id="6567188" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kavin-Bharti-Mittal">Kavin Bharti Mittal</keyword> and will be responsible for helping Hike scale its engineering team and streamlining product development. 
 Rajesh spent the last 15+ years in the Silicon Valley, working for companies like Digital Equipment Corporation, HP, Google and Motorola. He joins Hike from Motorola where he was most recently the Director and Head of Wearables and Internet-of-Things software. Before that, he led Android <keyword id="6354741" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Apps">Apps</keyword> and Cloud engineering and was responsible for software experiences on Android’s best smartphones, the Moto X and Moto G series. Over the years, Rajesh spent time working on seven different mobile platforms, launching many new products and software experiences. He led the launch of Moto 360, Android Wear’s first round smartwatch that grew to be the most successful of the Android Wear devices and the #1 in market share. He also played a key role in launching many of the industry’s bestseller devices such as Motorola StarTAC, RAZR, DROID, MING and Moto G. Rajesh has also been an adviser to startups in the Internet-of-Things space. 
 
Speaking on the occasion, Kavin Bharti Mittal, Founder and CEO, Hike Messenger said, “Rajesh has tremendous depth of experience in mobile having led large engineering teams to build some of the world’s most innovative products.
