Sikkim extends coronavirus lockdown till August 1

Over the course, it has weathered multiple storms ranging from significant supply increases to multiple bouts of economic uncertainty, both globally and regionally,” said Mandeep Lamba, managing director of Hotels at JLL India. 
 
He explained, “While the Bangalore hotel market today accounts for the largest share of branded economy hotel rooms in the country, Pune comes in a close second with nearly 1,050 branded economy rooms.”

In north India, the new hotels will be in places such as Manali, <keyword id="193753" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="mussoorie" source="Orion">Mussoorie</keyword>, <keyword id="76016" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="nainital" source="Orion">Nainital</keyword>, Srinagar, Shimla, Dalhousie, and Haridwar while in the South, it will be Ooty, Munnar, and Kodaikanal, the company said in a statement. The members passed the budget by voice vote after it was put to vote by Speaker L B Das following a discussion. The House also passed the Appropriation Bill, 2021 to clear decks for the state government to withdraw money under the annual budget from the consolidated fund of the state. Gangtok, 14 Jun () Five more people, who are returnees from Mumbai and Delhi, tested positive for coronavirus infection in Sikkim, taking the total number of active cases in the Himalayan state to 63, a senior health department official said. Of the five, three are from West Sikkim district and two from East Sikkim, Director-General of Health, Pempa T Bhutia said. They had been lodged in various quarantine centres and now they were shifted to the STNM Hospital in Gangtok.
