Enviro Infra Engineers, which is involved in the development of turnkey projects of <keyword id="19979438" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="sewage-treatment-plants" source="keywords">sewage treatment plants</keyword> and sewerage systems, on Monday fixed a price band of ₹140-148 per share for its ₹650 crore <keyword id="19913114" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Initial-Public-Offering" source="keywords">Initial Public Offering</keyword> (IPO). The initial share sale will open for public subscription on November 22 and conclude on November 26. The bidding for anchor investors will open for a day on November 21, the company announced. The city-based company's proposed IPO is a combination of a fresh issue of 3.87 crore equity shares and an Offer For Sale (OFS) component of 52.68 lakh shares by promoters. Currently, promoters hold over 93 per cent stake in Enviro Infra Engineers. At the higher end of the price band, the IPO is valued at ₹650 crore, placing the company's market capitalization at approximately ₹2,600 crore. Proceeds from the fresh issue to the tune of ₹181 crore will be used to meet the working capital requirements, ₹100 crore will be used for payment of debt, ₹30 crore will be infused into the company's subsidiary, EIEL Mathura Infra Engineers, to build 60 million litres per day Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. Besides, a portion will be used for general corporate purposes. Half of the issue size has been reserved for qualified institutional buyers, 35 per cent for retail investors and the remaining 15 per cent for non-institutional investors. Enviro Infra Engineers is engaged in designing, construction, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants and water supply scheme projects for government authorities/bodies. The treatment process installed by the company at most of the STPs is zero liquid discharge-compliant and the treated water can be used for horticulture, washing, refrigeration, and other process industries. Hem Securities is the sole book-running lead manager of the public issue. The equity shares of the company are expected to be listed on the BSE and NSE on November 29. Enviro Infra Engineers IPO to open on Nov 22; eyes ₹650 crore

Hence, Hampshire will become the first county side to be owned by an overseas entity, as the GMR Group will now have control over 51 per cent of the team's shares. "The Delhi part-owners are understood to have beaten a second bid from rival Indian Premier League franchise Lucknow Super Giants with an offer which values Hampshire at £120 million, although that price includes the club's debts of around £60 million," the Telegraph reported. Additionally, the GMR Group will also take control of the Utilita Bowl (cricket stadium at Hampshire), the Hilton hotel and a golf course at the same venue. Apart from being the co-owners of the Capitals, the GMR Group also has equal stakes in Dubai Capitals, the ILT20 side in the UAE, and Seattle Orcas, the Major League Cricket outfit in the USA. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), the Hampshire club officials and the new owners are expected to make an official announcement soon about the deal. Besides the significant investment, the take over could also open up the possibility of Hampshire gaining access to some of Delhi Capitals' young players for domestic tournaments such as the Hundred. However, at present, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) does not permit active Indian cricketers to play in overseas tournaments. In another significant development, Yorkshire, another English county side, has reopened their talks with Rajasthan Royals for a possible takeover of the Headingley based club. However, this would require a consent from 6000 Yorkshire members through a ballot. Delhi Capitals owners agree to buy major share in Hampshire takeover

<ul><li>The Indian PC market recorded its second-best quarter with a shipment of 4.49 million devices in Q3 2024.</li><li>The growth in part is due to the online festival sales by e-commerce giants and retailers.</li><li>HP continues to lead the Indian PC market with a share of over 29%.</li></ul> The Indian personal computer or PC market has recorded its second highest-ever shipments at 4.49 million devices in Q3 2024, recording a 0.1% growth year-on-year. According to a report by the International Data Corporation (IDC), the growth in sales was recorded due to online festival sales which began early this year. “The e-tail sales, which typically start around the second week of October, began in late September, leading to a surge in PC shipments,” said Bharath Shenoy, Research Manager, IDC India &amp; South Asia. In Q3 2024, desktops recorded an 8.1% year-on-year decline, notebooks recorded a 2.8% year-on-year growth and workstations recorded a 2.4% year-on-year growth. Premium notebooks priced above $1,000 recorded a 7.6% year-on-year growth. “Brands capitalized on e-tail sales by offering steep discounts, cashback, and bundled accessories. Many of them also matched similar pricing in their brand stores and offline channels like Larger Format Retail stores (LFRs), leading to the second biggest consumer quarter in history,” Shenoy added. Acer has recorded good growth, with its market share rising from 11.6% in Q3 2023 to 14.6% in Q3 2024. Asus on the other hand reported a decline from 12.5% in Q3 2023 to 9.7% in Q3 2024. “The Commercial PC Market in India is on the recovery path as enterprises have slowly started refreshing their IT devices. India’s PC market reaches new high with 4.49 million shipments in Q3 2024

LIC's stock has gained nearly 79% from Rs 620 on June 18, 2023, to Rs 1,109.15 at the closing on Tuesday, according to stock exchange data. Over the past one year, <keyword id="19898108" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="SBI" source="keywords">SBI</keyword> Life Insurance shares have risen from Rs 1,314 to Rs 1,621.20, delivering a return of 23%. Capital market analysts said <keyword id="19935977" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="insurance-companies" source="keywords">insurance companies</keyword> make money in two ways - charging premiums for policies and then investing the premiums into assets. It is the latter that generates the bigger delta in profits, thus impacting value creation and managing risks. Global majors, including Warren Buffet-owned Berkshire Hathaway, have been successful due to their ability to make superior investments. Most Indian insurance companies are yet to capitalise on the emergence of the country's <keyword id="19997284" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="infrastructure-sector" source="keywords">infrastructure sector</keyword>, analysts said. Indian insurance companies have concentrated investments in the BFSI, IT, and consumer sectors - all of which have been underperformers in the recent past. Only 8-10% of their investments are in the infrastructure sector. This is far less when compared to global standards. Large global insurance companies -- such as Allianz, Nippon Life Insurance, and Metlife, and other insurers like Berkshire Hathaway -- have much larger exposure ranging from 15 to 30% to the infrastructure sector, analysts noted. Over the past few years, global insurers have been increasingly considering infrastructure investments as 'core' investments as the stable and long-term cash flows of infrastructure assets naturally align with the liabilities of insurers. Additionally, infrastructure assets have defensive characteristics of high barriers to entry, strong pricing power, structural growth, and predictive cash flows, and listed infrastructure can provide investors with inflation-protected income and solid capital growth. <h2>Infra sector outperforming all</h2>For India, a strong government focus on the sector with large spending, supporting initiatives and encouraging policies, and improving governance has helped the infrastructure industry has come of age. This has helped the infra sector to outperform all other sectors, according to analysts. They said the high focus on retail loans, and the strategic reluctance to look at infrastructure for growth opportunities is proving detrimental for the shareholders of such companies. SBI, with its higher exposure to the infrastructure sector, has seen its stock gain 48% in the year (from Rs 592 to Rs 880.95 on Tuesday), while those of its private counterparts HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank have gained only in the range of (-)3%to 24%. Kotak and HDFC Banks with negligible exposure to the infrastructure sector are the worst performing, with their shares giving a negative return, stock exchange data showed. Kotak Mahindra Bank shares were at Rs 1,895 on June 18, 2023, and closed at Rs 1,805.20 on Tuesday. HDFC Bank closed at Rs 1,619.20 on BSE on Tuesday, down from Rs 1,679 a year back.

In a regulatory filing, GMR Infrastructure announced the signing of definitive agreements for the sale of entire 51% stake owned by its wholly-owned subsidiary GMR SEZ and Port Holding Ltd (GSPHL) in Kakinada SEZ Ltd (KSEZ) to Aurobindo Realty and Infrastructure Pvt Ltd. <div type="image" title="GMR" msid="78311921" hostid="261"></div> "As part of the proposed transfer of stake of KSEZ, the 100 per cent equity stake of Kakinada Gateway Port Ltd (KGPL) held by KSEZ would also be transferred to Aurobindo Realty. Total consideration for the sale of equity stake as well as the sub-debt in KSEZ is ₹2,610 crore," the company said. GMR Infra said out of the total consideration, ₹1,600 crore would be received on the closing date and balance 1,010 crore would be received in next 2 to 3 years, which is contingent upon certain agreed milestones. Proceeds will be used majorly to reduce the indebtedness of GMR Group. KSEZ is engaged in the business of implementation of a port-based multi-product special economic zone project at Kakinada, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh and KGPL has the concession granted by the Andhra Pradesh government to set up a greenfield commercial port in the state. The sale transaction shall be subject to receipt of regulatory and other statutory approvals, the company added. Even as 46.6% of infra projects are facing delays as of January 2024, there has been a significant improvement since the beginning of FY24. As of March 2023, the ratio of delayed projects to total projects was much higher at 56.7%. While the data shows that more projects are progressing at a faster rate now than they did last year, there is much to catch up to. Before the pandemic, the ratio of delayed projects was at 32.6%. “The above analysis shows that while time delays in infrastructure projects have declined relative to March 2023, it still remains high when compared with the pre-pandemic period. This suggests that some of the effects of the pandemic still linger on,” said <keyword id="20593084" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="aditi-gupta" source="keywords">Aditi Gupta</keyword>, economist at Bank of Baroda (<keyword id="19997299" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="bob" source="keywords">BoB</keyword>). On the bright side, 618 projects are on schedule and 56 projects are ahead of schedule, says BoB data. The IPMD monitors the progress of high value infrastructure projects that cost over ₹150 crore. In the slow lane: Road sector has most delays Road transport and highways sector has the highest share in the total number of delayed projects. Half of the delayed projects are in the transport sector, but it also has a high number of projects, at 1,021. Railways comes a distant second with 12.4% share in delayed projects, but the extent of their delays range from 3 months going as high as 255 months. In the case of road projects, the range of delays is anywhere between 1 month and 131 months. As many as 32% of projects are showing delays between 25-60 months. A total of 123 projects are experiencing a delay of more than 60 months. Research A significant number of projects are also showing cost overruns. The cost of the 1,820 projects under monitoring stands at ₹30.7 lakh crore. That’s 18.7% above the original cost which was ₹25.9 lakh crore. “Interestingly, there has been a significant reduction in cost overruns of infrastructure projects since March 2023, when the cost overrun stood at 22%. Even when compared with the pre-pandemic period (19.4% in January 2020), the cost overrun is lower,” said Bank of Baroda. The period just after the pandemic saw the highest cost overrun. The phase of reopening along with the Russia-Ukraine war led to a sharp increase in input prices in this period. “With a correction in the global commodity prices, the cost overrun is also trending lower,” said <keyword id="19983550" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="gupta" source="keywords">Gupta</keyword>. The Indian government has increased its capital expenditure outlay by 11.1% in the 2024 Interim Budget. A year before, it had increased its capex expenditure outlay by 37.4 % in 2023-24 to ₹10 lakh crore.

New Delhi, Dynamic Cables Ltd has posted a 59 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 11.38 crore during the April-June quarter on account of higher income. The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 7.17 crore during the corresponding period of the preceding 2022-23 fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing on Monday. The company's total income also rose to Rs 182.14 crore in the quarter under review, from Rs 158.51 crore in the year-ago quarter, a rise of 16 per cent. In a separate statement, company's Managing Director Ashish Mangal said, "We have reported strong numbers in the first quarter of FY24. The growth was driven by healthy demand for our products across domestic and export markets. "We foresee a healthy business environment and long-term demand growth for power cables driven by multiple macro tailwinds." During the April-June period, the Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) margin was at 11.3 per cent, as compared to 9 per cent in the same quarter of the previous year, the company said. As on June 30, the company's order book was at Rs 394 crore. Dynamic Cables Ltd has three manufacturing units in Rajasthan, where it manufactures power infra cables that includes LT, HT, EHVC, power control and instrumentation cables, flexible and industrial cables, solar cables and railway signalling cables.
