Ever since the Modi government has come to power, <keyword id="6484188" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sensex">Sensex</keyword> had been climbing to new highs. However, in the recent times Sensex seems to have entered the slipping mode. Though these dips have not been that significant (except for the 600-pt slip recorded today), but investors are very worried. The million dollar question is: Should they worry at all? 
 
Not really, suggests Economic Times article titled 5 reasons behind Sensex's 600-pt slip and why investors needn't worry. As per this article, five factors mentioned to be playing spoilsports in the market are: 
 
1. Rupee losing ground 
 
Since June last year, US dollar has grown from strength to strength over rupee. However, analysts aren’t treating this trend alarming. A market watcher, while speaking to the ET opined that considering a composite basket and not just rupee dollar, it has been found that rupee has actually strengthened a little in the last year. 
 
2. Fed rate hike and higher volatility 
 As per the ET report, a market watcher said that as the market adjusts to the US <keyword id="37018" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="interest-rate">interest rate</keyword> cycle, it would fluctuate between 8500 on the downside and 9100-9200 on the upside for next few weeks. 
 As a benefit for long term investors, a 5% to 7% correction in the market will fuel the <keyword id="34412" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="economy">economy</keyword> and corporate earnings at the same time. 
 
3. Good return after 2 years 
 
The Economic Times report has further revealed that market being volatile over next 12 months one cannot expect a return of 25%-30%. Vibhav Kapoor, Group CIO of IL&amp;FS has confirmed to the ET that if economy prevails at the same motion like now, good return is expected in next two years. 
 
4. FY17 – Happy Days 
 While analysts are positive of a higher growth gradually, FY15 earnings might be below 5%. Though FY16 would be better and might witness earnings around 13%-15%, it is FY17 when the financial experts are expecting a turnaround. Nilesh Shah, MD and CEO of <keyword id="97794" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Kotak-AMC">Kotak AMC</keyword> told ET that earnings can go above 22% in FY17. 
 
5. Technical factors 
 <keyword id="6354813" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="nifty">Nifty</keyword> with intraday low of 8850 last week has been bouncy for quite sometime. Slipping further, Nifty is stable at 8800 today but may break 9000 level soon. <keyword id="622948" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="GEPL-Capital">GEPL Capital</keyword> report states that if it breaks 8850 level, it may droop at 8800-8740 level in future. 
 
Analysts have opined that if 9,100 can’t be achieved very soon, extreme volatility, negative bias and stock specific action would continue.

Analysts at GEPL capital agree as they said that while the growth has come at the expense of EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) margins and return ratios, the pivot was an essential strategy to foray into diverse lucrative opportunities, leveraging an ecosystem of partners and creating business moats. “All these acquisitions were funded through internal accruals. As the synergies and growth from these investments kick in, the margin profile and consequently return ratios will return back to a path of steady growth,” said the GEPL capital report. Nazara’s CEO Agarwal told Business Insider that their growth has come from their fundamental knowledge of the Indian gaming market and knowledge of the consumer trends. Here’s why analysts believe ₹100 crore IPO of Dr Trust’s parent Nureca is a ‘sizeable’ opportunity

New Delhi, Jan 30 () Market watchdog Sebi has imposed a penalty of Rs 10 lakh on DS Kulkarni Developers Ltd for violating provisions of listing norms.
 The order follows a probe conducted by the regulator after receiving certain complaints against DS Kulkarni Developers alleging lack of proper disclosures by the company to the exchanges regarding revisions in ratings as well as actions taken by various authorities against it. 
 The probe found that the company did not inform about revision in credit ratings to the stock exchanges within the stipulated time period. In addition, it failed to give clarification to the exchange on a media report titled "DSK fraud pegged at Rs 2,000 crore".
 The company, thereby, violated the provisions of Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulation, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) said in an order passed on Wednesday.
 In a separate order, Sebi imposed a penalty of Rs 3.5 lakh on Dharmendra Bhojak for failing to make payment for shares received through off-market transfers in the matter of Incap Financial Services, thereby violating the provision of Securities Contract Regulation Act.
 The regulator, in another order, levied a penalty of Rs 1 lakh on GEPL Capital Pvt Ltd for misutilising client funds. AST SP

The sector is poised to grow According to Ventura, the company has increased its market share from 3.1% in FY18 to 4.6% in FY20 and has been ranked second among key OTAs in India based on booking volumes. The online penetration, defined as a share of bookings done online through websites of the service providers or through online travel agencies (OTAs), of the Indian travel industry accounted for 56-58% in FY20. The analysts further expect the share of online penetration to 67-68% in FY23, supported by growth in online transactions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Justified valuations The ICICI Direct report highlighted that taking cognisance of the huge growth opportunities for EaseMyTrip and a lean cost of operations that would aid the flow of profitability to the bottom line — “it is an attractive issue.” According to Choice Broking, the company is available at a P/E of 65.3x on FY20 numbers — “which is reasonably priced”. The price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio shows the price that the market is willing to pay for a stock based on its earnings. Higher the P/E, the more expensive the stock. In a bid to raise Rs 10,000 crore, the <keyword id="87432" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="National-Highways-Authority-of-India">National Highways Authority of India</keyword> (NHAI) is starting sale of tax-free bonds, thereby giving retail investors an opportunity to ensure steady returns. 
 
Investors, who will get 7.39-7.60 per cent interest on paper with 10-15 year maturities, will be able to invest up to 40 per cent of the total issue size. 
 
"We expect the 10-year (benchmark) yield will move towards 7.64 per cent from 7.78 per cent now. The subscription will go through easily," Deepak Panjwani, head of debt markets at GEPL Capital, told ET. 
 
NHAI is not new as NTPC, Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) have also come out with such bonds at Rs 750 crore each.
