In some relief to daily commuters, the <keyword id="48834" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Allahabad-High-Court">Allahabad High Court</keyword> ordered the Delhi-Noida-Direct(DND) flyway to be toll free. 
 Pronouncing its order on a PIL filed by the <keyword id="2489659" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Federation-of-Noida-Residents-Welfare-Associations">Federation of Noida Residents Welfare Associations</keyword> (FONRWA), the high court directed the order to be implemented with immediate effect. 
 
The DND flyway connects Delhi on the west bank of the Yamuna with Noida and East Delhi. 
 
The DND flyway witnessed several protests and demonstrations seeking scrapping of the Rs 28 toll following allegations that the operator of the 9.2-km-long stretch (including the Mayur Vihar link) has already made significant profits.

The BSES Yamuna Power Limited (BYPL) and Schneider Electric, a global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, have signed a far-reaching agreement, a BSES spokesperson said on Monday.
The partnership seeks to make electricity usage safer, smarter and sustainable by using cutting-edge technology and creating awareness, he added.
"This will be accomplished through two programmes and working closely with the resident welfare associations (RWAs), industrial welfare associations and nominated local electricians in east and central Delhi," the BSES spokesperson said.
The programmes include training and sensitisation of electricians to prevent accidents.
Under the second programme, the consumers will be offered a range of attractively priced safety and home automation products to enable them to control their appliances and switches remotely from anywhere through their mobile phones, the BSES spokesperson added. VIT RC

To counter the global fraud, Gurugram and Noida police along with other investigating agencies — Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Interpol and Canada’s Royal Canadian Mounted police (RCMP) — have shut down over 17 call centers, arresting 42 people involved in the scam, <a href="https://www.hindustantimes.com/gurugram/gurugram-police-joined-hands-with-fbi-interpol-to-bust-call-centre-scam/story-RJA614XdShh4kv9MyUgBFJ.html?utm_campaign=fullarticle&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=inshorts">said the report</a>. This lead to the users landing a call on a given number, which were operated from the call centers — the team then posed as Microsoft support team offering solutions to rectify their system and in turn demanded money. Fake call centers in India tricked over 50,000 people across 15 countries, FBI joins investigation

New Delhi, May 27 (IANS) <keyword id="2750705" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Google-Pay">Google Pay</keyword> on Wednesday announced that it's 'Nearby Spot' feature is now available in 35 cities across the country. These cities are Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mumbai, Nagpur, Navi Mumbai, Pimpri-Chinchwad, New Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Chennai, Surat, Ahmedabad, Patna, Varanasi, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Prayag Raj, Kanpur, Noida, Greater Noida, Visakhapatnam, Indore, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Ludhiana, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Chandigarh, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Ernakulam. Last month, Google Pay launched a 'Nearby Spot' to helps users see which stores, providing essential goods, are open in their vicinity. Merchant establishments can now indicate their business hours, whether social distancing measures are in place at the store and the essential goods presently in stock. Users across the country can also book their cooking gas cylinders from HP Gas, Bharat Petroleum or Indane, and pay digitally via the app. "All three service providers are now live for all users of Google Pay," the company said in a statement. The company has also launched a 'Coronavirus Spot' which provides users official safety guidelines from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and also links to a variety of charities accepting donations to support relief work.
