Tata Consultancy Services (<keyword id="6357150" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="TCS">TCS</keyword>) today announced <keyword id="1422411" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Rajesh-Gopinathan">Rajesh Gopinathan</keyword> as the new CEO of the company. <keyword id="221979" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Gopinathan">Gopinathan</keyword> is currently the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and vice president of TCS and will succeed the current CEO <keyword id="292865" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Natarajan-Chandrasekaran">Natarajan Chandrasekaran</keyword> as <keyword id="56148" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Chandrasekaran">Chandrasekaran</keyword> has been named as chairman of <keyword id="46894" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Tata-Sons">Tata Sons</keyword>. 
 Gopinathan joined TCS in 2001 and was appointed as CFO of the company in February 2013. Prior to this, <keyword id="6372038" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Rajesh">Rajesh</keyword> was the Vice President - Business Finance. He was responsible for the financial management of the company's individual operating units.

Born in 1971, Gopinathan, is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and has handled various finance functions over the last several years and at present heads business finance and is responsible for financial management of the company's operating units.
