It intends to raise as much as ₹7,000 crore through this initial public offering (IPO). The IPO, with a face value of ₹10 per equity share, is a mix of fresh issue of shares of ₹1,250 crore and an offer for sale of up to ₹5,750 crore by <keyword id="21126697" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="goswami-infratech" source="keywords">Goswami Infratech</keyword>. The company may consider undertaking a further issue of shares through a preferential issue or any other method for a cash consideration aggregating up to ₹250 crore as a ‘pre-IPO placement’. If such placement is completed, the fresh issue size will be reduced. The offer is being made through the book-building process. Not more than 50% of the net offer shall be available for allocation on a proportionate basis to qualified institutional buyers. Also, not less than 15% of the net offer shall be available for allocation to non-institutional bidders, and not less than 35% of the net offer shall be available for retailers. Last year, JSW Infrastructure raised as much as ₹2,800 crore via an IPO. Six-decade-old EPC company Afcons Infrastructure is a sixty-year-old engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company. The company has a track record of delivering a wide range of EPC projects both domestically and internationally. It operates across five major verticals with projects across ports, highways, and urban infrastructure like metro works, bridges, flyovers etc. It also does EPC work on dams, tunnels, offshore and onshore projects. Some notable projects of the company completed include the Jammu Udhampur Highway Project, <keyword id="21126696" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="nagpur-metro-reach" source="keywords">Nagpur Metro Reach</keyword> 3, and <keyword id="21126698" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="agra-lucknow-expressway" source="keywords">Agra Lucknow Expressway</keyword>. As of September 30, 2023, Afcons was actively involved in executing 67 active projects across 13 countries. The company also worked on the Chenab Bridge in Jammu &amp; Kashmir and the Atal Tunnel in Himachal Pradesh. The ongoing projects include the Kolkata Metro, <keyword id="21126699" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="thilafushi-link-project" source="keywords">Thilafushi Link Project</keyword> in the Maldives, and more. Its equipment base includes marine barges, cranes, tunnel boring machines, jack-ups, and piling rigs. It also has two dedicated workshops in Delhi and Nagpur for equipment maintenance. Financials &amp; other details Afcons’ order book has increased at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.6% from ₹26,248.46 crore in FY21 to ₹30,405.77 crore in FY23. As of September 30, 2023, its order book stands at ₹34,888.39 crore. Some of its listed peers include L&amp;T, KEC International, Kalpataru Project, and Dilip Buildcon. Its restated consolidated revenue from operations in FY23 increased 14.7% to ₹12,637.38 crore from ₹11,018.97 crore in the previous year. This is primarily due to an increase in construction contract revenue, driven by an increase in business in its urban infrastructure and hydro and underground business verticals, both in India and overseas. Profit after tax grew 14.89% from ₹357.60 crore for FY22 to ₹410.86 crore for FY23. For the six months ended September 30, 2023, revenue from operations stood at ₹6,505.39 crore, and profit after tax stood at ₹195.13 crore. ICICI Securities, DAM Capital Advisors, Jefferies India, Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities, Nuvama Wealth Management, and SBI Capital Markets are the book-running lead managers, and Link Intime India is the registrar of the issue.

YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh told IANS that these companies have already deposited 10 per cent of the proposed allocation for land in Sector 29 under the <keyword id="766731" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="yamuna-authority" source="Orion">Yamuna Authority</keyword> near the upcoming Jewar airport in Greater Noida. "Seiko Advance Limited, an ink manufacturing company, expressed its desire to make its product on 5 acres of land in Sector 29 of YEIDA," Singh informed. Seiko Advance Limited alone will invest Rs 850 crore and provide employment to thousands of people, he added. Sector 29 is well-developed with several available facilities for companies. The Apple suppliers, along with a known camera parts maker, proposed to set up a unit on about 23 acres of land with a proposed investment of Rs 2,800 crore. Singh told IANS that Apple suppliers proposed the investment at a recently-held meeting in South Korea. Seiko Advance creates ink for devices like the iPhones. Apple CEO Tim Cook had visited the company in 2019, when he had said that the 'Midnight Green' colour dye was "only made by high-quality control and craftsmanship" at its plant. Meanwhile, Apple is fast forwarding its manufacturing plans in India and Vietnam in the wake of unrest in China over zero-Covid policy which has severely disrupted its supply chain, leading to an acute shortage of new iPhone 14 Pro models. The Wall Street Journal had earlier reported that the company is "telling its suppliers to plan more actively for assembling Apple products elsewhere in Asia, particularly in India and Vietnam" in order to "reduce dependence on Taiwanese assemblers led by Foxconn". The China upheaval, which hit its key supplier Foxconn's Zhengzhou factory last month, resulting in violent protests, means "Apple no longer feels comfortable having so much of its business tied up in one place", the report said, citing analysts and people in the Apple supply chain. Apple aims to ship 40-45 per cent of iPhones from India compared to a single-digit percentage currently, according to analyst Ming-chi Kuo. Every fourth iPhone will be made in India by 2025, according to J.P. Morgan. In a fillip to India's thrust on local manufacturing, Apple had earlier this year kicked off production of new iPhone 14 in India, a first for the tech giant as it narrows down the manufacturing period of new iPhones in the country to cut dependence on China. Buoyed by the ease-of-doing business and friendly local manufacturing policies, Apple's 'Make in India' iPhones will potentially account for close to 85 per cent of its total iPhone production for the country this year, according to industry experts. Apple first started manufacturing iPhones in India in 2017, with iPhone SE. The tech giant manufactures some of its most advanced iPhones in the country, including iPhone 11, iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 at the Foxconn facility, while iPhone SE and iPhone 12 are being assembled at the Wistron factory in the country. Apple suppliers to invest ₹2,800 cr in UP as iPhone maker to move more manufacturing to India

The authority has also forfeited an amount of more than Rs 209 crore of the developers, to whom a total of more than 15.25 lakh sqm of land was allotted. According to the information received, the group housing land allocation of two developers in 2019, three in 2021 and nine in 2022 have been cancelled, whereas no allotment was cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic. Of the cancelled plots, 10 are situated in Sector 22D, two in Sector 18 and one each in Sectors 22A and 26A. YEIDA cancels allotment of 14 group housing projects due to non-payment of dues

The Mayor said that due to the prevailing weather conditions and <keyword id="91140" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Dense-fog">dense fog</keyword>, accidents were taking place on the expressways at an alarming frequency, causing loss of life and property. He demanded that the traffic movement should be prohibited on the expressways connecting Agra from 8 p.m to 8 a.m. "With the temperature dropping and visibility decreasing on the roads because of fog, there have been many road accidents, especially on the expressways, including the 165- kilometre <keyword id="6354936" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Yamuna">Yamuna</keyword> Expressway connecting Agra with Noida, and the 302-kilometre <keyword id="1058381" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Agra-Lucknow-expressway">Agra-Lucknow Expressway</keyword>," Jain said. "Traffic should be prohibited on both the expressways from 8 p.m to 8 a.m so that accidents and loss of life at night, including those because of fog, could be controlled. Dense fog is leading to a pile-up of vehicles. Relief work, too, takes much time during fog. Because of the foggy weather, traffic should not be allowed on the expressways at night," he said. Dense fog on Sunday morning had claimed the life of a driver of a bus which rammed into a stationary truck on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. Three passengers were injured in the accident. On January 14, a bus passenger was killed after dense fog led to a pile-up of vehicles on the Yamuna Expressway. Earlier, on January 3, two people, including a driver, were killed in a road accident on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. It was feared that the bus driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel as the sleeper bus rammed into a truck around 1 a.m. On January 1, a bride was charred to death in an accident while she was returning in a vehicle with her husband after offering prayers in Mathura. On December 22, five people died after their car collided with a truck near a toll plaza on the Yamuna Expressway. Agra mayor seeks 12-hour night ban on expressway travel over concerns of accidents due to dense fog

The trees were cut in Banda, Chitrakoot, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Aurraiya and Etawah, it said. The 296-km long four-lane road will connect Etawah to Chitrakoot and Uttar Pradesh districts to <keyword id="9319704" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="the-national-capital-region">the National Capital Region</keyword> via the Yamuna expressway. Over 1.89 lakh trees have been cut for the construction of Bundelkhand expressway

Intensifying their protest against the three <keyword id="9970645" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="farm-laws">farm laws</keyword>, <keyword id="45092" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="farmers">farmers</keyword> blocked the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway at some places in Haryana on Saturday. The blockade started at 8 am and would last 24 hours. The Samyukta Kisan Morcha, an umbrella body of protesting farmer unions spearheading the agitation against the agriculture-related legislations, on Friday gave a call for a 24-hour blockade of the <keyword id="6367712" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="kmp-expressway">KMP expressway</keyword>. The 136-km-long expressway is also known as the Western Peripheral Expressway. Protesting farmers, however, said emergency vehicles will be allowed to ply. Bhartiya Kisan Union (Lakhowal) general secretary Harinder Singh Lakhowal said the blockade would be for 24 hours. Haryana Police in the meanwhile issued a traffic advisory, asking travellers to avoid the KMP expressway. Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Navdeep Singh Virk on Friday said elaborate arrangements were in place to maintain peace and order, prevent any kind of violence and facilitate traffic movement and public transport on the expressway. Traffic diversions have been planned by affected districts especially Sonipat, Jhajjar, Panipat, Rohtak, Palwal, Faridabad, Gurgaon and Nuh, Virk said. Passengers coming from Ambala/Chandigarh side on National Highway-44 may go towards UP's Ghaziabad and Noida via Karnal to <keyword id="6360543" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="shamli">Shamli</keyword> and from Panipat to Sanauli. Vehicles going towards Gurgaon and Jaipur can take National Highway-71A from Panipat and travel via Gohana, Rohtak, Jhajjar and Rewari. Farmers Protest: Farmers block Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway in Haryana

In a move to boost the ongoing protest against the new agricultural laws, the <keyword id="11027606" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="samyukta-kisan">Samyukta Kisan</keyword> Morcha (SKM) has announced that <keyword id="45092" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="farmers">farmers</keyword> will block the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) expressway on April 10 for 24 hours and also hold a march to Parliament in May. Unveiling its plan for the next two months, the SKM, an umbrella body of 32 farmer groups, said that it will organise the 'FCI (Food Corporation of India) Bachao Diwas' on April 5 that will be marked by the 'gherao of FCI offices across the country'. The foot march will be joined not just by farmers, but also by women, unemployed individuals and labourers who have been supporting the protest, the SKM has said. It further said that the farmers will celebrate the Baisakhi festival at the Delhi borders on April 13, and on the next day, which is the birth anniversary of Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Samvidan Bachao Divas (Save Constitution Day) will be observed. "We have made all arrangements to tackle the protest call given by farmer organisations. "Police will keep updating people about the traffic situation in Gurugram through the official social media handles," said Subhash Boken, spokesperson of the Gurugram Police, adding that while regular traffic can pass, checks are likely to slow it down or lead to jams. Gurugram, Security in <keyword id="3864405" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="gurugram-district">Gurugram district</keyword> was beefed up on Sunday with the deployment of more police, rapid action force and even paramilitary personnel even as hundreds of <keyword id="45092" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="farmers">farmers</keyword> from Rajasthan were stopped on the <keyword id="4907373" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="haryana-rajasthan">Haryana-Rajasthan</keyword> border the previous night. The protesting farmers staged a dharna at the interstate border point on the service lane of the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway after police stopped them from proceeding further on Saturday night. They are now awaiting more farmers to join in. Sources said that more police personnel than farmers were seen deployed at the Rajasthan-Haryana border falling in Gurugram district on Sunday. "Thousands of police personnel along with water cannons, cranes/JCBs and anti-riot equipment have been stationed across the National Highway to stop farmers from entering Gurugram area," said Nikita Gahlaut, DCP (Manesar). As of Saturday evening, two groups of farmers from Rajasthan, with more expected to join them on Sunday, turned up to participate in the call for "blocking" the NH-48. As the protestors sat on a dharna on the NH's service lane, they shouted slogans to demand the repeal of the three new central farm laws. Earlier, Swaraj India national President Yogendra Yadav had tweeted that the farmers from Rajasthan and Haryana would gather at Kotputli and Behror before their proposed march to Delhi on December 13. According to a senior police officer who did not wish to be named, the Haryana Police had changed its strategy to stop farmers from proceeding further, putting up barricades on the Haryana-Rajasthan border in the district till <keyword id="3912043" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="delhi-gurugram">Delhi-Gurugram</keyword> border and digging up trenches on roads. Haryana's farmer leader Rampal Jat said: "We are waiting for more protesters to join us. Farmers from different villages in Gurugram district will also rally on the Rajasthan-Haryana border. We are expecting thousands of farmers to participate." He said that they all plan to join the farmers already protesting on Delhi borders at Tikri and Singhu. "We have made preparation to stay put for months at the protest spot, bringing along food items, clothes, water and other essentials," he added. "We know that we will be stopped by the police and we are prepared for that. This is our protest against the three black farms law and we will win, sooner or later," Jat asserted. Yogendra Yadav, who along with farmers and members of worker union, moved towards Delhi on foot on Sunday, said that mobilisation of protesters was on from several districts of Rajasthan and south Haryana districts for Sunday's march. Farmers' Protest: Security beefed up in Gurugram as farmers stopped on Haryana-Rajasthan border

Gurugram, After farmers decided to intensify their agitation in support of their demands, Gurugram Police on Thursday beefed up security at several traffic junctions, toll plazas and Delhi-Haryana border areas in view of protesters' plan to block the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway during the week. "We have also beefed up security arrangements at border points in view of ongoing farmers' protests. We have issued an advisory to all officials concerned to take necessary precautionary measures in view of plans to block the expressway and toll plaza," ACP (Headquarters) Usha Kundu said. Police officials have been asked to intensify patrolling in all sensitive locations, especially in border areas and Kherki Daula toll plaza so as to prevent any untoward incident. While the farmers' protest continued for the 15th day on Thursday, <keyword id="3826242" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="gurugram-traffic-police">Gurugram Traffic Police</keyword> has issued a traffic advisory for crucial traffic points like Kapdiwas border, Bilaspur Chowk, Panchgaon Chowk, <keyword id="10408909" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="manesar-chowk">Manesar Chowk</keyword>, Kherki Daula toll plaza, <keyword id="6371658" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="hero-honda-chowk">Hero Honda Chowk</keyword>, Rajiv Chowk, and Shankar Chowk on the National Highway-48. The action will not only further disrupt Delhi's supply chains, but will also put pressure on commuters who may face huge traffic congestion on December 12. "The police has already tightened security and made appropriate arrangements to prevent any untoward incident. Also, nearly 2,000 police personnel have been deployed in sensitive locations in the district. The Gurugram police is also keeping in touch with counterparts in adjoining districts and state's police to monitor the movement of vehicles and people," Kundu added. The district police resumed on Thursday checking of suspicious vehicles. It also put up barricades on carriageway and state highways to check vehicles entering Gurugram district. A large number of security personnel, including senior police officers, were deployed in all sensitive locations. Police officials are visiting the toll plaza and border areas to take stock of the ground situation. "Amid the farmer's calls to block the expressway and Kherki Daula toll plaza, the Gurugram police is already on high alert. Security forces, including police personnel, rapid action force and others, have been deputed across the district," the ACP said.
