The IPO was subscribed 2 times on the last day of bidding, and the non-institutional Investor portion of the IPO wasn't even fully subscribed. Most of the brokerage reports highlighted various risk factors According to ICICI Direct, for Equitas Small Finance Bank, new products and entry in new geography pose a risk of non-performing assets. Currently, the company has a 55% concentration of loan portfolio in Tamil Nadu and nearly 13% in Maharashtra. Angel Broking also said in its IPO note that the fresh formation of bad loans from moratorium books would keep provisions high and return ratios compressed, and could pose a concern for Equitas SFB. "We believe investors should wait for price discovery before making any investment decision," they added. Tepid debut for Equitas Small Finance Bank — lists at a 6% discount over the issue price

New Delhi, Dec 16 () Equitas Small Finance Bank (Equitas SFB) on Monday said it has filed draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the regulator SEBI for Rs 1,000 crore initial public offer.
 The Initial Public Offering (IPO) comprises a fresh issue aggregating up to Rs 550 crore and an offer for sale of up to 80,000,000 equity shares by Equitas Holdings Limited (EHL), the promoter, Equitas Small Finance Bank said in a statement quoting DRHP.
 The offer includes a reservation of up to Rs 100 crore for subscription by eligible EHL shareholders and a reservation aggregating up to Rs 5 crore for subscription by eligible employees, it said. 
 "In terms of the RBI In-Principle Approval, RBI Final Approval and SFB Licensing Guidelines, the Bank is required to list its equity shares on the Stock Exchanges within three years from the date of commencement of business by the bank," it said.
 The bank proposes to utilise the net proceeds from the offer towards augmenting Tier I capital base and to meet future capital requirements.
The equity shares will be listed on BSE and NSE.
In September after the small bank failed to be listed within the stipulated timeframe as per the licence agreement, the banking regulator, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), refused to extend the listing deadline for Equitas SFB and barred it from opening new branches till further orders. 
 The regulator also froze the pay of CEO Vasudevan PN. RBI rules mandate that a small finance bank should list within three years of reaching Rs 500-crore net worth.
Although the RBI directive does not have a major implication on the business, the bank will be forced to list by March 2020.
Equitas SFB have been able to diversify their loan portfolio and significantly reduce dependence on microfinance business as compared to other microfinance companies that have converted to SFBs, it said.

Even the darkest color available was at least three shades too light.It wasn't until years later that she found brands like MAC that included her shade. Still, Carr felt like her brown skin was an afterthought of mostly light options.That changed in 2017 when the music mogul Rihanna debuted her Fenty makeup line, which included 40 shades ranging from mahogany brown to pearly white. And Fenty's<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_FoFRnZPh4"> marketing</a> featured people of color exclusively. Carr quickly became a loyal user."I wasn't just included. As a Black woman, I was centered," Carr, who is the CEO of<a href="https://www.groupasbury.com/about"> the Asbury Group</a>, a diversity consultancy, told Insider. "She captured a market." And it paid off. Last year,<a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/maddieberg/2021/08/04/fentys-fortune-rihanna-is-now-officially-a-billionaire/"> Forbes</a> reported that Rihanna's wealth was $1.7 billion, the majority of which stemmed from her retail empire, which includes the $2.8 billion makeup company Fenty. Her lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty, promotes luxury and body diversity in equal parts. The Grammy-winning singer also dropped a skin-care line, Fenty Skin in 2020.Rihanna's financial success with Fenty is a testament to the potential of inclusivity. In a time when representation is<a href="https://www.oprahdaily.com/entertainment/a27055246/beyonce-reebok-meeting-diversity/"> no longer optional</a>, corporate executives are being pushed to show they value and respect people from all backgrounds and all skin tones."She saw the need, the opportunity in society, and she put a team together. She had the fortitude to create these products and do it in such a compelling way," Carr said. "She centered inclusivity." Rihanna's commitment to inclusivity was front and center at her third annual Savage X Fenty fashion show last year, <a href="https://www.out.com/celebs/2021/9/13/lineup-rihannas-third-savage-x-fenty-show-super-queer">which featured </a>queer, transgender, and BIPOC models. What's more, the four-year-old brand is quickly becoming a leader in the lingerie industry. Rihanna is consulting with advisors on an initial public offering (IPO) for Savage X Fenty, according to <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-03-11/rihanna-s-lingerie-company-said-to-weigh-ipo-at-3-billion-value">Bloomberg</a>. Taking the company public could value the business at $3 billion or more. "Diversity is everything to this brand and its success," Harmeling said.This is evidenced by the variety of <a href="https://www.vogue.com.au/fashion/news/rihannas-savage-x-fenty-lingerie-show-proved-the-time-for-inclusivity-and-body-positivity-is-now/news-story/bf3e2684f21286434694796bc07ede5a">products</a> offered by Rihanna's brands, the affordable price points, the inclusive and intentional <a href="https://www.thinkwithgoogle.com/future-of-marketing/management-and-culture/diversity-and-inclusion/-fenty-beauty-inclusive-advertising/">marketing</a>, and how she <a href="https://time.com/5026366/rihanna-fenty-beauty-best-inventions-2017/">talks</a> about her brands, Harmeling and Carr both said. Savage X Fenty offers lingerie in sizes from extra small to triple extra large. Its tagline is: "Lingerie for every body." And it offers lingerie at affordable prices, with items as low as $5. At Fenty, <a href="https://www.flare.com/fashion/nude-lingerie-brands/">"flesh" or "nude"</a> doesn't just mean white."It's about having a lens of inclusion at every level," Carr said. "That's what she's doing that other leaders can look to." Diversity and inclusion aren't simply noble causes; they're also what customers, investors, and prospective employees are increasingly looking for, according to a growing body of <a href="https://hbr.org/2018/07/the-other-diversity-dividend#:~:text=The%20Findings,for%20reaping%20its%20business%20benefits.">research</a>."Diversity is good for business, period," Harmeling said.<h2>Challenge the status quo </h2>Before Savage X Fenty, Victoria's Secret was the industry behemoth. And if you democratize and humanize, what you're doing is very pragmatic and very profit-driven because you're expanding your market," Harmeling said.<h2>Build diverse and inclusive teams</h2>Only 8% of Fortune 500 CEOs are women, and even fewer are Black, but business leaders like Rihanna are changing that."I would suspect her team is very diverse," Carr said.Harmeling agreed, saying that great ideas in business often come from discussions among people from different backgrounds."Make sure you get a diverse team and consult with that diverse team about what's going to work and what isn't," she said. "Diversity expands your market. That's a win."
