Don’t get me wrong. These are all noble professions, but if you’re not going in with intention, you’re doing injustice to someone who has that fire in ‘em. 
 
So now you’re just ’being’. Don’t ‘be’! You don’t have time to ‘be’. 
 
Let me tell you how to not just ‘be’! 
 
Taking time out to figure what you want to do if fine, but the problem with figuring out in <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Abish+Mathew">Abish</a>’s words is that it’s ‘freakin additive’!

You’ve got to accept that you’re always going to be a kid to ‘em. They want to see you succeed where they failed. They’ll always try to safeguard your ideas. 
 
You’ve got to ensure just two things – that you’re earning enough, and that you’re occasionally praised by your peers. The praise takes care of ‘log kya kahenge’ and the money takes care of ‘tujhse shaadi kaun karega!’. Just kidding about the last part. Feminists, don’t ground me. 
 
The hard fact is that you’ve to accept that maybe your parents would accept, but never really be satisfied with what you do. 
 
So why’s it important for you to do what you got to do? 
 
It’ll eat you up. Once you find what you should do, you’d live in regret till you’re here… 
 
Sure, your stress levels are going to go up, and you’re supposed to fail, even if you do what you love. That’s how we all learn. 
 
It’s when you finally succeed and your parents see you’ve arrived that they’ll say, “Fine, love that. I’ll let you be.” 
 
There’s a long way till you can ‘be’, and that’s only where you belong.

All good things must come to an end and the same goes for Bollywood. After a magnificent spell of back-to-back blockbusters in the form 
of <keyword id="227940" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Chennai-Express">Chennai Express</keyword>, <keyword id="500441" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="Krrish-3">Krrish 3</keyword> and <keyword id="1886157" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Ram-Leela">Ram-Leela</keyword> (yes, this flick from <keyword id="6358308" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="sanjay-leela-bhansali">Sanjay Leela Bhansali</keyword> is finally looking <keyword id="41744" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="UP">up</keyword> and nearing the Rs 100 crore mark but more on that later), two more movies hit the screens on Friday (November 22) – <keyword id="2165" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kareena-Kapoor">Kareena Kapoor</keyword> (<keyword id="2857" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bebo">Bebo</keyword>) and <keyword id="14676" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Imran-Khan">Imran Khan</keyword>’s much-hyped <keyword id="1636016" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="rom-com">rom-com</keyword> <keyword id="1538595" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Gori-Tere-Pyaar-Mein">Gori Tere Pyaar Mein</keyword> and <keyword id="9271" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sunny-Deol">Sunny Deol</keyword>’s rustic action flick <keyword id="1481019" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Singh-Saab-The-Great">Singh Saab The Great</keyword>. But after our usual 4-day tally, the numbers are none too impressive. 
 
Let’s take a close look at Gori Tere first, directed by <keyword id="112568" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Punit-Malhotra">Punit Malhotra</keyword>. According to a trade website, the total collection after 4 days (Nov 22-25) stands at a paltry Rs 16.5 crore and certainly nowhere near the Big League. In his latest tweet, film critic and analyst Taran Adarsh says: #GTPM is better in UAE, below the mark in USA-Canada &amp; UK, poor in Australia and disaster in NZ. Overseas total: $ 980,000 [Rs 6.12 crore]. 
 
If the collection doesn’t pick up soon, Imran could be in trouble. Well, <keyword id="828519" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Ek-Main-Aur-Ekk-Tu">Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu</keyword> (Shakun Batra’s directorial debut in 2012), his last movie opposite Bebo, did well at <keyword id="25892" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="box-office">box office</keyword> and grossed a total of $8.1 million in India and abroad. But the year 2013 hasn’t been exactly great and both his films, <keyword id="814061" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="80" keywordseo="Matru-Ki-Bijlee-Ka-Mandola">Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola</keyword> (a <keyword id="825824" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="political-satire">political satire</keyword>) and <keyword id="1717335" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Once-Upon-A-Time-In-Mumbai-Dobaara">Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara</keyword> (a <keyword id="1952408" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Gangster-flick">gangster flick</keyword>) failed to bomb the box office. In contrast, Bebo has done extremely well in Madhur Bhandarkar’s <keyword id="6439486" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="80" keywordseo="heroine">Heroine</keyword> and <keyword id="125922" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Reema-Kagti">Reema Kagti</keyword>’s suspense thriller <keyword id="1952412" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Talaash-The-Answer-Lies-Within">Talaash: The Answer Lies Within</keyword>. Starring <keyword id="6355923" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Aamir-Khan">Aamir Khan</keyword>, Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor, <keyword id="861273" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="80" keywordseo="Talaash">Talaash</keyword> also entered the <keyword id="925977" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rs-100-crore-club">Rs 100 crore club</keyword> and raked in a total of Rs 131.78 crore. 
 However, the <keyword id="1952416" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Lukewarm-response">lukewarm response</keyword> to Gori Tere could be due to the over-used theme. Although Imran sparkles in his romedy (romance-comedy) role as a rich architect and Bebo looks pretty stunning in her desi avatar while she pursues her fiery zeal for social work, the ‘bridging’ between the ‘unlikely’ partners is kind of predictable nowadays. And strangely enough, this flick reminds you of an earlier hit (<keyword id="14521" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="80" keywordseo="Jab-We-Met">Jab We Met</keyword>) where Bebo did it with equal spontaneity and spunk. Gori Tere is sweet and breezy, but the freshness of the <keyword id="1952417" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Shahid-Kapoor-Bebo">Shahid Kapoor-Bebo</keyword> starrer is somewhat missing here and the sparks are not flying. In perspective, Adarsh has tweeted: #BusinessTalk: #RamLeela dominates, #GTPM dismal, #SSTG decent in mass circuits! 
 
And that brings us to the other movie of the week – Gadar director Anil Sharma’s Singh Saab The Great. Sunny Deol-starrer Singh Saab has moved ahead of Gori Tere and grossed around Rs 21.5 crore after four days. The response has been good in North India, especially in Punjab and Delhi, and single screens have seen good turnouts except in the East and the South. 
 In this <keyword id="1952421" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Action-drama">action drama</keyword>, Sunny plays a collector of a small city in <keyword id="6357713" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Uttar-Pradesh">Uttar Pradesh</keyword> and values his honesty and integrity more than anything else. He fights corruption and injustice to usher in the change that real-life politicos never stop mentioning. Overall, it features a contemporary and relevant theme that can impact the audience. <keyword id="1855052" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="SSTG">SSTG</keyword> [limited screens] is best in USA-Canada, but ordinary elsewhere. Overseas total: approx $400,000 [Rs. 2.50 crore], tweeted Adarsh. 
 Meanwhile, Bhansali’s Ram-Leela is catching up after some initial hiccups. Last week, the Lucknow bench of the <keyword id="48834" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Allahabad-High-Court">Allahabad High Court</keyword> banned the screening of <keyword id="1942272" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Goliyon-Ki-Raasleela-Ram-leela">Goliyon ki Raasleela Ram-Leela</keyword> in Uttar Pradesh. The court has, however, allowed the producer and director to run the film without using ‘Ram-Leela’ and ‘Raasleela’ in the title. In its ruling, the bench said, “We are only concerned with the use of word ‘Ram-Leela’ in the title of the film, which hurts the sentiments of billions of peoples not only in India but all over the world.” 
 
But in spite of the controversies, Ram-Leela continues to dominate and seems to have overtaken Krrish 3 in the global market. According to Adarsh, #Krrish3 affected by #RamLeela wave. Overseas total *after Weekend 4*: approx $8.5 million [Rs 53.07 crore]. Blockbuster! 
 
As of now (after the 26th day), Krrish 3 has grossed a total of Rs 263.20 crore. But the question is – can Ram-Leela overtake Krrish 3 and become the topmost earner? We need to wait and watch – picture abhi baki hai and the box office war is far from over.

'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' Not Yet A Box Office Hit; 'Singh
Saab' Moves Up The Scale

Los Angeles, Hrithik Roshan-starrer 'Fighter' was the highest grossing film of the weekend at the global box office, with box office revenues of $25.1 million. The film, directed by <keyword id="19910290" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="siddharth-anand" source="keywords">Siddharth Anand</keyword>, whose previous film, Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Pathaan', was one of the biggest Indian hits of 2023, also stars Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, reports Variety. 'Fighter' revolves around the Indian Air Force and was released on January 25, ahead of Republic Day, a public holiday. The film depicts Indian conflicts with Pakistan and was banned across the Middle East where there is a large Pakistani migrant worker population. 'Fighter' released across 23 territories and recorded a $24.5 million worldwide weekend, with $20.8 million of that total earned in international territories, i.e. outside <keyword id="19905008" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="north-america" source="keywords">North America</keyword>. Including the Thursday numbers, it had worldwide cumulative collections of $25.1 million, as per the data from ComScore. In North America, 'Fighter' collected $3.7 million over the three-day weekend and $4.3 million over four days. In India, it collected $17.7 million over four days. In second place worldwide was Columbia Pictures' romantic comedy 'Anyone But You' with $19 million. After its sixth weekend on release the film has $127 million worldwide, with $71.1 million in North America. As per Variety, in third position, Amazon MGM's <keyword id="20153456" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="jason-statham" source="keywords">Jason Statham</keyword> action-thriller 'The Beekeeper' earned $18.3 million and has a worldwide cumulative box office of $104 million, including $42.2 million from North America after three weekends on release. On the worldwide ranking, Warner Brothers' chocolatier origin story 'Wonka' starring <keyword id="20121860" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="timothee-chalamet" source="keywords">Timothee Chalamet</keyword>, placed fourth with $13.7 million. After seven weekends on release, the film has a sweet $552 million worldwide, including $195.1 million in North America. Rounding off the top five was <keyword id="20374103" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="searchlight" source="keywords">Searchlight</keyword>'s double Golden Globe-winning offbeat comedy 'Poor Things' distributed internationally by Disney, with $13.04 million. The film has collected $51 million worldwide, including $24.7 million in North America, after its eighth weekend on release.

Hrithik Roshan's Fighter tops global box-office, collects $25 million on weekend

The mood continues into the last month of 2020 as much-awaited shows await to be dropped on your devices this month. Euphoria: Trouble Don't Last Always Starring Zendaya, who won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role, the show will pick up after the season one finale, following Rue as she celebrates Christmas after being left by Jules at the train station. It also stars Jacob Elordi of "The Kissing Booth" fame. It will arrive on December 7 on Disney+ Hotstar Premium. High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Set for a December 11 release, the holiday music special will see the cast of "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" spreading a feel-good holiday cheer. It will be available on Disney+ Hotstar Premium. LA's Finest It shows how detective Syd Burnett (Gabrielle Union) and her partner Nancy McKenna (Jessica Alba), take on dangerous criminals in Los Angeles. Season 2 will be available on December 4 on SonyLIV. Shameless S11 Shameless has lined up its last season for a December 11 release on Amazon Prime Video. The final season will follow the Gallagher family as they deal with the pandemic, while Ian (Cameron Monaghan) and Mickey (Noel Fisher) adjust to married life. The comedy drama also stars William H. Macy and <keyword id="10111474" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ethan-Cutkosky">Ethan Cutkosky</keyword>. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina The supernatural horror series will conclude with season four. Starring Kiernan Shipka as the teen witch, the upcoming season drops on December 31 on Netflix. Black Widows Actors Mona Singh, <keyword id="38560" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Swastika-Mukherjee">Swastika Mukherjee</keyword>, Shamita Shetty and Raima Sen will be seen in the Indian web series that revolves around how three best friends, who thought they got away with the perfect crime of killing their abusive husbands, find all has not ended yet. It will be the eighth international remake following adaptations in Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania, the Middle East, Mexico, Scandinavia and the Czech Republic. The series is slated to premiere on December 18 on Zee5. Paurashpur A period drama, the makers claim the show belongs to a genre never seen before on the Indian OTT space. Starring Annu Kapoor, Milind Soman, Shilpa Shinde, Poulomi Das, <keyword id="479417" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sahil-Salathia">Sahil Salathia</keyword>, Shaheer Sheikh and Flora Saini, it will launch on December 29 on ALTBalaji and Zee5. <keyword id="10371385" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="bhaag-beanie-bhaag">Bhaag Beanie Bhaag</keyword> Actress Swara Bhasker will essay the role of a stand-up comic in the upcoming series, which she describes as a story of a girl finding a place for herself amidst chaos. It will start streaming on Netflix from December 4. Outside In It is a comedy special by stand-up star Vir Das, who has dedicated it to each one of us who has survived this year. The comedy special is created out of 30 virtual shows that he did during lockdown. It will premiere on Netflix on December 16. Sandwich Fate brings love in Naina and Sameer's life and later love brings marriage. What happens next in their married life is what the show is all about. Directed by Rohan Sippy, Sandwich features Aahana Kumra and Kunaal Roy Kapur. The show will arrive on SonyLIV on December 25. Binge watchers ahoy! Here's a watchlist for December

Mumbai, Jul 15 () Stand-up comedians Aadar Malik, Sahil Shah and Azeem Banatwalla are the latest names to apologise for their years old and "out-of-context" videos and social media posts that have resurfaced online. The comedians said they were sorry if they had offended or hurt anyone's religious sentiments and also requested that their families be spared of online vitriol. The development came days after several comics such as Vir Das, Rohan Joshi and Kaneez Surka alleged that their personal contact information and addresses were leaked online, which led to vicious trolling. Earlier this week, Twitter users dug out screenshots of jokes of some comics, including Varun Grover, Aditi Mittal, Abish Mathew, which they had cracked in the past. These users claim that comedians used Hindu gods in their joke punchlines and started trending #HinduphobicComedyIndustry. On Tuesday, private contact details of these comics were shared from an anonymous Twitter account. The account was later suspended. Joshi claimed that his family was being targeted with hate messages and announced a hiatus from social media. On Tuesday, Malik took to Twitter to apologise for hurting religious sentiments. "Some clips of my videos are being shared on social media. I'm really sorry if I've hurt anyone's religious sentiments or if anyone has got offended by these videos. These are eight-year-old videos, and they have been taken out of context and time," he said in the video. The comic also claimed that he is getting a lot of hate messages and threats to his family on social media, and requested trolls to take a step back. "It becomes a very scary atmosphere to live in. As comedians, we just want to make people laugh... "We were learning comedy at that time, trying out new jokes. If I've hurt or offended anybody, I apologise again... Over time, we have matured, become better and have changed. This won't happen again," he said. Shah, a member of the East India Comedy (EIC) group, said he was apologetic for cracking a joke on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj all those years ago. The comic said he understood the anger behind his old joke and he has deleted the said video. "I should not have cracked a joke on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at all. Once again, I'm very sorry. I have deleted that video. Henceforth, whatever comedy I do, I'll do it thoughtfully and responsibly," he added. While apologising "unreservedly", Banatwalla said he had temporarily suspended his Twitter account as people had been pouring in the "vilest of Islamophobic abuse to me". "It has come to my attention that many people have been upset and offended by tweets I have made many years ago. For that I would like to apologise unreservedly. Many of these were before I even starting doing comedy, but that does not excuse the fact that they were not acceptable," he said. "I am willing to accept my mistakes and grow as a person, and I sincerely hope these people can find it within themselves to do the same," the EIC member tweeted. Last week, a female stand-up comic was subjected to online rape threats and abuses after a year-old video of her allegedly cracking a joke on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's statue surfaced. She later took down the video and apologised on social media. The National Commission for Women (NCW) on Sunday sought immediate action from Gujarat Police against one Shubham Mishra for allegedly hurling abuses and giving rape threats to the said comedian on social media. Vadodara Police had arrested Mishra on Sunday for the alleged video. Mumbai Police's Cyber Branch, too, took suo motu cognisance of another alleged threatening video against the comedian and arrested Imtiyaz Sheikh, who used the profile 'Umesh Dada' on YouTube, on Monday. Stand-up comedians post apology after old videos, tweets resurface online

On the eve of its<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Six-ways-Youtube-made-a-difference-in-the-last-decade/articleshow/47470329.cms"> YouTube</a> Fan Fest in Mumbai, the video-sharing website made another giant announcement that will make watching videos online all the more fun for its audience. Along with its content partners Only Much Louder (OML), <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/8-best-Indian-web-only-series-of-2015/articleshow/50268799.cms">The Viral Fever </a>(<keyword id="6400882" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="TVF">TVF</keyword>), Culture Machine and Qyuki, <keyword id="10879" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="YouTube">YouTube</keyword> is all set to launch four new original properties. 

	This further proves the growth of the Indian YouTube creator community which engages millions of people every day and the fact that web is the future.
 

	First to see the light of the day will be #LaughterGames in April, which will see nine comedians launch their own web series and will feature a mix of popular and new names such as Kennith Sebastian, East India Comedy and Put Chutney. After that, Culture Machine will be launching a show called Beauty Hunt while TVF will be launching a search for the next generation of web series creators thus utilising the platform of YouTube in a two-fold way.
 Then there’s OML who will return with season 2 of its successful Comedy Hunt in the search for India’s next top comedy act and Qyuki will launch a show called Jammin’ which will feature Youtube music creators alongside popular <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> composers. 

	According to Satya Raghavan, the Head of Entertainment Content, YouTube India, the reason for this has been the unprecedented content creator revolution that the country has gone through, especially in 2015.
 

	“2015 was a breakout year for the young Youtube content creator industry that has collectively managed to break new ground by amassing millions of subscribers and a loyal fan base who have also in turns ensured that mobile has a major role to play when it came to online video composition. The audience clearly likes watching videos online, especially on YouTube and thus it just seemed like the natural way to go,” he added.
 

	With YouTube itself backing these content creators, one could hope that its breaks open gates for a whole kind of <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Pretentious-Movie-Reviews-will-be-back-sooner-thanyou-think-says-comedian-Kanan-Gill/articleshow/51360663.cms">entertainment for Indians online.</a>
