NEW DELHI: <keyword id="210527" type="COMPANY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Renault-India">Renault India</keyword> on Wednesday launched the <keyword id="6865140" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Duster">Duster</keyword> All Wheel Drive (AWD) compact SUV between Rs 11.89 lakh to Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).<br />

The AWD will enable the SUV to intuitively access the road and constantly engage all wheels. It will come in shift-by-fly options of 2WD, Auto and 4WD. The car is mated to a six speed transmission.<br />

The car is powered by the 1.5 dCi THP diesel engine with 110 PS@4000 RPM of maximum power and torque of 245NM@1750 RPM. It gets cosmetic changes to its exteriors and a new dash and seats for its interiors. It also gets a new infotainment system.<br />
<br />
Duster has been pivotal for the fortunes of the company as it has sold over 100,000 units in the past 25 months in India.<br />
<br /> The Duster AWD is expected to contribute greatly to the company's hopes of garnering five per cent plus <keyword id="34527" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="market-share">market share</keyword> in the country. <keyword id="43777" type="CITY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Renault">Renault</keyword> is alsp looking to launch two new cars next year even as it ramps up dealership to 175 across India by end of the year.<br />

"As a company we are looking forward to good days. The micro and macro indicators are good and point to economic revival," said Renault India, Country CEO and MD, Sumit Sawhney.

Renault Launches Duster AWD Compact SUV For Rs 11.83 Lakhs

New Delhi, Mar 17 () French auto major Renault on Tuesday said it has launched BS-VI version of its popular SUV Duster in India with price starting at Rs 8.49 lakh.<p>The BS-VI version of Duster will be available with a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 5-speed manual transmission in three variants with the top end priced at Rs 9.99 lakh, Renault India said in a statement.</p><p>The company has already launched BS-VI complaint versions of its other models Kwid and Triber in January.</p><p>Duster is one of the mainstays of Renault's product portfolio in India. "Meanwhile, Duster is as spacious as ever, boasting the same off-road ability and the same low price tag."</p><p>The Duster's success outside the US is understandable. It's a dirt cheap, highly capable little car. You can buy one for less than 10,000 Euros, or the equivalent of $12,000 USD. Subcompact "cute ute" SUVs are becoming more popular here, following the success of compact crossovers such as the Honda CR-V and the Nissan Rogue.</p><p>But the Duster represents a weird sort of formula: a cheap SUV that's actually not tiny. It's been speculated from time to time that Nissan could sell it in the US. But then the carmaker looks at the specs and the competitive landscape and concludes that it just wouldn't be worth it.</p><p>Still, a crazy success outside the land of the SUV. And now with an all-new look and the same tempting price. This dirt-cheap SUV sells like crazy around the world - but Americans can't have it

Around 3,000 employees will face the heat as <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=renault+nissan">Renault-Nissan Automotive India</a> has begun a massive <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=downsizing">downsizing</a> at its car factory off Oragadam.<br />

The <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=car+sales">sales of cars</a> are hit and the vehicles are piling up at the factory since last three months. The company has decided to cut production from 40 cars an hour at the plant down to 20, a 50% output cut in the country's largest car plant.<br />

There are 5,140 <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=renault+duster">Renault Dusters</a> in the company’s inventory. Its latest <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=multi+purpose+vehicle">Multi-Purpose Vehicle</a> ‘Lodgy’ numbering 4,100 are also piled up at the factory.<br />

Not only this, the national dealer network has 10,500 cars.<br />

"The company has planned to disengage trainees, casual labour and apprentices, but the other workers will not be affected," an inside source with the factory told ET. The source said the beginnings are to be seen on the sales front.<br />
 <br /> The factory was set up in 2010 in the presence of the alliance's chairman and CEO <keyword id="69288" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Carlos-Ghosn">Carlos Ghosn</keyword>. It was built at an investment of Rs 4,500 crore and a capacity of 4 lakh cars at full ramp up.<br />

The alliance has come out with popular brands like Micra, Duster and Terrano.<br />

Our employment conditions are in line with the prescribed labour laws of the country. We have not indulged in any wrongful dismissal of employees or trainees. As a responsible corporate, we regularly take trainees under various training schemes and impart necessary skills and knowledge. RNAIPL is under no obligation to offer full-time employment to these trainees. Full-time employment is offered only on availability of specific roles and performance of the individual trainee."<br />

A wooden toothpick has less of a chance of damaging components than a plastic or metal one though you do have to worry about the tip of the toothpick breaking off in the port.</p><p><strong>1.</strong> Look inside the port for any caked-on dust or dirt. If you can't see inside, try shining a flashlight into it.</p><p><strong>2.</strong> Delicately insert the toothpick into the port. <p>The 13-year-old has created numerous projects, but one especially notable one is the FuzzBot.</p>
<p>The FuzzBot is an Arduino-based robot platform. Etnyre programmed the FuzzBot to detect walls, hands, and has a swiffer duster attached to the back for cleaning. </p>
<p>But when he's not running his company, Entyre teaches an Arduino class at MIT. <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-24931542?ocid=socialflow_twitter_bbcworld" target="_blank">Some say he's one of MIT's most in-demand teachers</a><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">. </span></p>

"Blade Runner 2049" is a sequel to director Ridley Scott's dystopian sci-film "Blade Runner," released in 1982.</p><p>"You know, I love 'Blade Runner,' but I don't know if we want that future," Musk said while presenting at the "We, Robot" event.</p><p>"I believe we want that duster he's wearing, but not the, uh, the bleak apocalypse," he added while flashing an image that resembled a still from "Blade Runner 2049."</p><p>Musk's slide featured a man wearing a duster jacket, observing a post-apocalyptic cityscape.</p><p>Alcon said in its lawsuit that the image was likely made with an AI image generator since they didn't grant Musk permission to use images from the film.</p><p>"Any prudent brand considering any Tesla partnership has to take Musk's massively amplified, highly politicized, capricious and arbitrary behavior, which sometimes veers into hate speech, into account," Alcon wrote in its lawsuit.</p><p>"Alcon did not want BR2049 to be affiliated with Musk, Tesla, or any Musk company, for all of these reasons," Alcon added.</p><p>Representatives for Tesla and Alcon Entertainment didn't respond to requests for comment from BI sent outside regular business hours.</p><p>Other people in Hollywood have also raised concerns about the content of Musk's "We, Robot" rollout — down to the product designs.</p><p>Alex Proyas, director of the 2004 sci-fi film "I, Robot," said the designs of Tesla's Optimus robot, Robovan, and Robotaxi were similar to the robots and vehicles seen in his film.</p><p>"Hey Elon, Can I have my designs back please?" Proyas wrote in an X post on October 13.</p><p>Tesla's "We, Robot" event was widely anticipated by investors and consumers, who expected Musk to lay out his vision for self-driving vehicles.</p><p>However, the presentation received a tepid response in the markets. Tesla shares fell by nearly 9%, closing at $217.80 on October 11, a day after the event.</p><p>On Monday, Tesla shares closed at $218.85 and were down by nearly 12% year to date.</p>

New Delhi, Jan 29 () Auto maker Renault on Wednesday said it has launched BS-VI compliant versions of its entry level hatchback Kwid and newly launched model Triber.
<p> The upgraded versions of Triber are priced between Rs 2.92 lakh and Rs 5.01 lakh, while Triber trims are tagged between Rs 4.99 lakh and Rs 6.78 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi), the company said in a statement.
</p><p> The price for BS-VI compliant Triber has been increased between Rs 4,000 to Rs 15,000 depending on the variant, while that of Kwid has been increased by Rs 9,000 across all versions, it added.
</p> The BS-VI compliant models of Duster and Captur will also be launched well before the BS-VI deadline (April 1), the company said.   MSS
