In India, the <keyword id="2038724" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Scrambler">Scrambler</keyword> Sixty2 will be targeted at<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Women-bikers-intrude-male-bastion-come-out-with-flying-colours/articleshow/47907469.cms"> riders</a> looking to upgrade to a not too large twin-cylinder <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Know-which-luxury-brands-are-prepping-a-comeback-in-India/articleshow/48437731.cms">motorcycle</a> with the appeal of the Ducati brand. 
 

	The new Sixty2's 399cc L-twin engine is almost half in displacement than the current Ducati Scrambler’s, making 41PS of power at 8750rpm and 34.3Nm of torque at 7750rpm. Its larger sibling - the 803cc Ducati Scrambler - makes 75PS of power and 67.7Nm of torque. 
 

	Other changes on the Sixty2 include the front fork, which is a traditional set-up compared to the inverted fork on the current Ducati Scrambler. The rear swing arm too, has been switched from the cast aluminum to a steel one on the Sixty2. Braking system consists of two piston floating calipers squeezing a single 320mm rotor.
 

	The Scrambler Sixty2's price in India is likely to be about Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) once it is launched in India early next year.

Matthew DeBord/BII'm a hippie and a hipster.I recently took a short vacation to Bologna, Italy and while I was there I spent some time at the Ducati factory and museum.Ducati is a very old motorcycle brand, founded in 1926 and headquartered in Bologna for its entire history. In recent years, the company has gained renown for its so-called "naked" bikes, mainly the Ducati Monster, which was rolled out in 1993 and has achieved widespread popularity (it has an open trellis frame that exposes its unique desmodromic v-twin engine).Ducati is also well-known for its aggressive superbikes, such as the Panigale - often called the "Ferrari" of motorcycles.But it's biggest hit of late is a reboot of a motorcycle that it first built back in the early 1960s and discontinued in the early 1970s. It was called the "Scrambler," and Ducati resumed making it, with a completely different level of technology and much more horsepower, in 2015.Matthew DeBord/BIAwesome bike.I was a big fan of the Monster, but the Scrambler is really just about my favorite bike on the road right now. For Ducati, it gives the brand a bike to put against some of the revived "cafe racers" that have been produced by the likes of Triumph and even Harley-Davidson, which is famous for its hulking cruisers.Triumph's bikes are pure hipster, but the Scrambler nods at a subset of hipsterdom: riders who want to tackle the road and the trail. In this sense, they probably would have appealed to somebody like Steve McQueen, a motorsport nut who <a href="https://books.google.com/books?id=kSkDAAAAMBAJ&amp;printsec=frontcover&amp;source=gbs_ge_summary_r&amp;cad=0#v=onepage&amp;q&amp;f=false">actually sampled a whole bunch of dirt bikes for Popular Mechanics in 1966</a>.The original Ducati Scrambler wasn't on his docket, but it should have been.Ducati made the original Scrambler for the US market, and if a photo I snapped while I was at the museum is any indication, it was a bike beloved by counterculturalists:Matthew DeBord/BIDucati hippies.I'm not sure if the new Ducati is similarly pitched; the target market seems to be especially chic hipsters. In fact, the Scrambler has been so successful that rather than allow it to exist as a single model in the overall Ducati lineup, the company has turned it into a standalone brand selling a variety of different bikes.From a business standpoint, this shows a pretty bold pivot for Ducati. The bike maker is now appealing to several different markets, uniting them with its high-end, design-and-engineering-driven DNA. As I learned when <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/2016-new-york-motorcycle-show-2016-12">I stopped by the New York Motorcycle Show last year</a>, American bikers are now absolutely spoiled for choice. There are far more great, modern motorcycles now than there were when I was growing up. Back then, it was essentially cruisers and sport bikes; if you wanted something different, you had to scour the vintage realms. Nowadays, kickstarting is a thing of past and all these retro-bikes are outfitted with state of the art tech. But as in the case of the Scrambler, they haven't lost their spirit. The bikes of the 1960s and '70s may have appealed to hippies, but there aren't that many of those folks around these days. The reduction under the <keyword id="4435953" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Development-Control-and-Promotion-Regulation">Development Control and Promotion Regulation</keyword> 2034 would be applicable on all ongoing and new projects. Around 12.25 pm, shares of <keyword id="51993" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Indiabulls-Real-Estate">Indiabulls Real Estate</keyword> were trading on the <keyword id="35140" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="BSE">BSE</keyword> at ₹84, higher by ₹5.55 or 7.07% from its previous close. Godrej Properties' shares were trading at ₹1,477.95, higher by ₹17.20 or 1.18% from its previous close. Shares of <keyword id="210357" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Oberoi-Realty">Oberoi Realty</keyword> were trading 2.15% higher at ₹599.70. Sunteck Realty shares on the BSE were at ₹360.05, higher by ₹12.25 or 3.52% from its previous close. The <keyword id="10556994" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="latest-move">latest move</keyword> by the Maharashtra government is likely to give a major boost to the pandemic-hit realty sector in state. Siva Krishnan, Managing Director and India Head, Residential Services, JLL India, said: "This move will help reduce the landed cost for developers, thereby rationalising the cost and reducing the burden on customers. It is expected to further trigger the recovery of the residential real estate market which has seen a good uptick in the last two quarters due to factors like lower interest rates, and pro-active measures from the government like stamp duty reduction." He noted that the latest moves, coupled with the ongoing measures, will go a long way in enticing both end-users and investors back to the residential market. "The country's residential sector is already seeing an acceleration in sales, leading to a fast-paced recovery from the impact of the pandemic," Krishnan said. New York, Do you find drinking <keyword id="6359858" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="alcohol">alcohol</keyword> pleasurable? If so, you are more likely to develop an alcohol use disorder (AUD), a <keyword id="1243099" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="new-study">new study</keyword> suggests. The findings, published in the American Journal of Psychiatry, indicate that individuals developing an AUD are more likely to be sensitized to the <keyword id="79322" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="effects">effects</keyword> of alcohol -- that is, they experience a stronger positive <keyword id="61262" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="response">response</keyword> -- rather than habituated to the substance with a lower level of response. "These pleasurable alcohol effects grow in intensity over time, and do not dissipate, in people progressing in excessive drinking," said lead author Andrea King, Professor at the University of Chicago in the US. "This tells us that having a higher sensitivity to the rewarding effects of alcohol in the brain puts such individuals at higher risk for developing an addiction," King added. For the study, the team followed a cohort of 190 young adults in a laboratory-based binge drinking scenario at three regular intervals over the course of 10 years.When retested on their responses 10 years later, those who became alcoholics had the highest levels of alcohol stimulation, liking and wanting - and these were heightened compared to their baseline with no signs of tolerance to these pleasurable effects. The study showed that higher sensitivity to the euphoric and rewarding effects of alcohol can predict who will go on to have an AUD as they progress through their 20s and 30s. "Our results support a theory called incentive-sensitization," said King. "In response to a standard intoxicating dose of alcohol in the laboratory, ratings of wanting more alcohol increased substantially over the decade among the individuals who developed more severe AUD. Additionally, the hedonic response -- essentially, how much a person liked the effects -- remained elevated over this interval and didn't go down at all. This has traditionally been the crux of the lore of addiction -- that addicts don't like the drug (alcohol) but can't stop using it," King added. Enjoy alcohol? A new study says it could lead to liquor related disorder

<keyword id="6358777" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="New-Delhi">New Delhi</keyword>, <keyword id="6357342" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Hiring">Hiring</keyword> activity in India saw a 14% jump in December as compared to the <keyword id="9393572" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="previous-month">previous month</keyword>, signalling a clear recovery of the job market in the post-Covid months, a new report said on Thursday. The overall hiring at year-on-year level showed a decline of only 10% in December, according to <keyword id="218117" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Naukri-com">Naukri.com</keyword> 'JobSpeak' report. The hiring in the insurance sector grew by more that 45% in December, as Indians felt the need for securing their health and businesses in the post-Covid era. The auto and ancillary sector (33 per cent) continued to register <keyword id="42546" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Growth">growth</keyword> in sequential hiring with increased consumer demand during the year-end period. Other key sectors such as BFSI (+18%), Pharma/Biotech (+28%), FMCG (+21%) and IT-Software (+11%) too have shown positive growth in hiring. "Key sectors like hospitality, travel, auto and retail are still bouncing back, and the sequential numbers reassure us of robust recoveries in 2021," said Pawan Goyal, Chief Business Officer, Naukri.com. "As we look forward to a brighter year ahead, the overall hiring sets in the right direction for the closing month." Within metros, Pune and Delhi led the sequential recovery at more than 18% and 16% increase in hiring, respectively, followed by Kolkata (+14%) and Mumbai (+10%). Coimbatore saw the highest hiring growth of +30% among Tier-2 cities, followed by Ahmedabad at +20% and Jaipur at +15% in December. In fact, hiring of professionals in the hotels/restaurants domain also saw an uptick of 13% sequentially, indicating the revival of the sector. Hiring activity in the month of December declined by 10% vs the last year, the findings showed. While Bengaluru (-1%), Pune (-2%), and Hyderabad (-5%) were less impacted given the growing demand for IT professionals in the virtually connected world, cities such as Mumbai (-25%) and Delhi (-18%) saw a decline in hiring activity in December as compared to the same month last year. Hiring activity recovers by 14% in India in December 2020, says report

New Delhi, <keyword id="1065178" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Oaktree">Oaktree</keyword> has told the <keyword id="4911816" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Committee-of-Creditors">Committee of Creditors</keyword> (CoC) of <keyword id="6423706" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="dewan-housing-finance">Dewan Housing Finance</keyword> Ltd (<keyword id="127124" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="DHFL">DHFL</keyword>) that there has been a "persistent campaign to discredit and misrepresent its <keyword id="5004374" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="resolution-plan">resolution plan</keyword>". In a letter to the CoC, the India Opportunities Fund, Singapore, which has put in the bid noted that this campaign is introducing bias into the decision making process. Oaktree said the CoC is not considering ₹2,700 crore provided under its resolution plan. It added that Oaktree is offering a much higher fair market value by more than ₹4,503 crore compared to the second highest bidder. Noting that its bid offered a clean structure for the shareholders without any conditions, it said that the bid by the second highest bidder is conditional. Oaktree has demanded the CoC reject the proposal by the other bidder "dressed as implementation steps". Oaktree has committed to infuse equity and debt and turn around the operations of DHFL entity on a standalone, going concern basis. In contrast, the other bidder seeks to merge the entity into its housing finance business. "The contagion risk of the indebtedness to the financial instruments held by the financial creditors is significant," it said. It said that the other bid is "a bad deal for creditors as cash flows generated by DHFL entity will be used to service external and unrelated debt of the wholesale business after the merger". "The financial creditors emerging from one resolution process then be exposed to another indebted company and ultimately the risk of a second resolution process will be a failure of <keyword id="192838" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="IBC">IBC</keyword> and CIRP," Oaktree said. Oaktree said its intention was never to address the second highest bidder's plan. However, it said the CoC did not provide clarifications to it on subordinated debt, and its proposal to offer another ₹1,700 crore in additional interest income was ignored while the other bidder was given the opportunity. Its ₹1,000 crore value prescribed to Pramerica is not being considered, Oaktree said. Oaktree said the burden of responsibility is placed on CoC as a guardian of public money and its duty to vote for the highest bidder is unambiguous. Tata Power Tata Power announced that it has taken over the management and operations of Odisha’s power distribution utilities WESCO and SOUTHCO upon completion of the sale process. With this, WESCO and SOUTHCO will operate under the company name as TP Western Odisha Distribution Ltd (TPWODL) and TP Southern Odisha Distribution Ltd (TPSODL) respectively. Punjab National Bank The state-owned Punjab National Bank has partnered with IIT Kanpur and the Foundation for Innovation &amp; Research in Science &amp; Technology (FIRST) for establishing an innovation centre at the institute's campus. Under this partnership, PNB and IIT Kanpur will set up a 'Fintech Innovation Centre (FIC)' as a vehicle to research and develop technological solutions to address challenges and explore opportunities in the BFSI space, the bank said in a statement.
