In a new post shared Tuesday, the banner said the actor's character was someone who "carries the hope of a new world" in her eyes. Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika and Ashwin will unveil the film's official title, trailer, and release date on the first day of San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in the US. At the Comic-Con, scheduled to take place from July 20 to 23, Vyjayanthi Movies will host conversations and performances, providing audiences with a glimpse into "India's vibrant culture and awe-inspiring world of science fiction". According to a press note issued by the makers, "Project K" will be the first-ever Indian film to debut at SDCC. Disha Patani also rounds out the cast of the multilingual movie.

Tanhaji was made on a massive budget of ₹150 crore, while Chhapaak is a medium budget movie spending anywhere between ₹35-40 crore. Chhapaak is also released only on 1500 screens, half that of Tanhaji. Both these movies had unexpected competition from multiple South movies that released the same weekend to capture the festival season of Sankranti. Deepika Padukone at Davos: here's what to expect from the Bollywood star at the World Economic Forum

In the last few years, we have had a lot of movies that have tried to offer something new to the audience. In fact, last week itself, we saw the release of a biopic staring <keyword id="1655" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Priyanka-Chopra">Priyanka Chopra</keyword>, which has been much appreciated. 
 This week it was the turn of Deepika Padukone starrer English language quirky drama to try its luck at Box Office. The movie has managed to create a place for itself amongst the niche audience but did not create a stir amongst the masses. As per Girish Johar, Film Business Expert “In the first opening weekend, <keyword id="1667771" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Finding-Fanny">Finding Fanny</keyword> has collected Rs 16.75 crore (both versions) approximately at the Indian box office”. 
 
Apart from Deepika Padukone, there were also other big names such as Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia. 
 This week, Vikram Bhatt’s movie <keyword id="1700318" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Creature-3D">Creature 3D</keyword>, too, was released. The movie stars Bipasha Basu along with Pakistani actor Imran Abbas Naqvi. This is Naqvi’s first movie in Bollywood. As per Johar, Creature 3D managed to rake in Rs 10.5 crores approximately in its first weekend at the BO. 
 On the other hand, <keyword id="47387" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Mary-Kom">Mary Kom</keyword> continues to grow strong. The movie has so far managed to gather Rs 46 Crores at the box office. Considering that neither Finding Fanny nor Creature 3D managed to excite the Indian viewers, there is a good possibility that Mary Kom will continue to hold its ground in this week too. 
 While Bollywood movies did not manage to strike Gold at box office this week, Ravi Teja starrer latest Telugu film <keyword id="44011" type="CITY" weightage="60" keywordseo="power">Power</keyword> got to a good start. In the first weekend collection, the movie has managed to collect nearly Rs 16.04 crores. 
 
The next week is another big one for Bollywood as Daawet-e-Ishk and Khoobsurat clash at the box office. Let us see which amongst the two walks away with the cake.

With its high production value, stellar cast, and epic storyline, the film has the potential to be a true game-changer for Indian cinema on the world stage. The visual effects and attention to detail in the film are garnering a lot of accolades. Viewers are also very excited about Deepika and Amitabh dubbing the Telugu lines themselves! In Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, she assumed the role of Shiva’s (played by Ranbir Kapoor) mother. And in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan, she played King Khan’s mother as well!
