Indian Olympic Association (IOA) secretary-general <keyword id="150258" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Rajeev-Mehta">Rajeev Mehta</keyword> in a late-evening tweet on Friday wrote, "Indian Wrestling team's foreign assistant coach (Belarusian) Mr Murad Gaidarov who was involved in an uncalled incident of assault on one of the match referees, is being withdrawn from the Tokyo Olympic Village immediately and is being called back to India on the latest flight." Mehta added that, "Murad Gaidarov is removed from the Olympic Village and will be transported back to India on 10.30 flight from Tokyo." Confirming the incident to IANS, IOA treasurer Anandeshwar <keyword id="6361584" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="pandey">Pandey</keyword> told IANS from Tokyo that he was there at the venue when the incident took place on Thursday, adding that Gaidarov had yelled and misbehaved with the match referee during the bronze-medal contest between Punia and Myles Amine of San Marino, which the latter won 4-2. Pandey said that the match referee had lodged a formal complaint with the International Wrestling Federation, which in turn informed the Tokyo Games organisers and the International Olympic Committee (IOC), who issued a letter to the Indian contingent's chef de mission Birender Prasad Baishya. "The coach (Gaidarov) had lodged an appeal when Punia was trailing 2-3, but it was turned down and the opponent got an additional point, which resulted in the Indian wrestler losing by a 2-4 margin," said Pandey, adding that, following the bout there was an altercation with the match referee. "The IOC cancelled Gaidarov's accreditation and the chef de mission told him not to leave his hotel room and he was booked in the next flight out of Tokyo," Pandey told IANS. NVIDIA and Reliance Industries to build AI computing infrastructure in India

The FIR, a copy of which has been seen by PTI, was filed under eight sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 406 that deals with criminal breach of trust, 420 (cheating and dishonesty), 467 and 468 (forgery). BharatPe in the complaint alleged that Grover and his family caused damages of about Rs 81.3 crore through illegitimate payments to bogus human resource consultants, inflated and undue payments through passthrough vendors connected to the accused, sham transactions in input tax credit and payment of penalty to GST authorities, illegal payment to travel agencies, forged invoices by Madhuri Jain and destruction of evidence. If convicted, Grover, Madhuri and others can face up to anything between 10 years to life imprisonment. EOW now has the power to arrest all the accused. BharatPe welcomed the registration of FIR saying, "For the last 15 months, the company has been facing a vicious and malicious campaign run by Grover against the company, the board and its employees". "The registration of the FIR is a step in the right direction, which unearths various suspicious transactions made by the family for their personal pecuniary gains," it said in a statement. The FIR, it said, will now enable law enforcement agencies to investigate deeper into the criminality and bring the culprits to books. "We have full faith in our country's judicial and law enforcement systems and are optimistic that this case will reach its logical conclusion. We will continue to extend all possible cooperation to the authorities," it added. In December 2022, BharatPe filed a criminal complaint against Grover and his family with the EOW of Delhi Police, alleging fraud of Rs 81.28 crore, criminal breach of trust, conspiracy, cheating, forgery and destruction of evidence. The same month, it also filed a civil suit with the Delhi High Court against its former MD and co-founder Grover and his family, seeking up to Rs 88.67 crore in damages for alleged cheating and embezzlement of funds. The suit, running into 2,800 pages, alleges that Grover, his wife Madhuri Jain and other family members created fake bills, enlisted fictitious vendors to provide services to the company and overcharged the company for recruitment. Madhuri Jain was the head of controls at BharatPe and was fired earlier in 2022 after a forensic audit revealed several irregularities. Subsequently, Ashneer Grover resigned as CEO in March 2022. BharatPe, last year, hit the headlines when Grover was accused of using inappropriate language and threatening a Kotak Group employee for failing to secure an allotment and funding for the Nykaa IPO for himself and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover. Thereafter, BharatPe appointed Alvarez and Marsal, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and PwC to conduct a corporate governance review and determine whether Grover had committed willful misconduct. This led to the ouster of Jain and Grover from the company and its board in March. On May 10, 2022, BharatPe said that after the detailed review, the company had decided to take steps against employees involved in misconduct and claw back Ashneer Grover's restricted shares. "The complaint was received at EOW and enquiry has been conducted into the allegations levelled against alleged persons. From the contents of the complaint and enquiry conducted so far, prima-facie offences punishable under Sections 406/408/ 409/420/467/468/471/120B IPC (Indian penal code) are made out," the FIR copy reads. BharatPe had filed an arbitration claim in Singapore to claw back restricted shares (1.4 per cent) allotted to Grover and prevent him from using the title of a founder. In January this year, Koladiya sued Grover reclaiming the shares transferred in December 2018. Last month, the company's co-founder <keyword id="10222571" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="shashvat-nakrani" source="Orion">Shashvat Nakrani</keyword> sued Grover over "unpaid shares". FIR against BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover, his wife, family

New Delhi, <keyword id="10062958" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="transaction-auditor-grant-thornton">Transaction auditor Grant Thornton</keyword>, in a report shared with the <keyword id="57372" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Administrator">Administrator</keyword> of <keyword id="127124" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="DHFL">DHFL</keyword>, has found certain transactions which are undervalued, fraudulent and preferential in nature, putting the newly-discovered fraud at ₹6,182 crore. The Administrator of <keyword id="6423706" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="dewan-housing-finance">Dewan Housing Finance</keyword> Company Ltd, appointed under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 to carry out the duties under it, obtained assistance from <keyword id="10802312" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="reputed-professional-agency">reputed professional agency</keyword>, Grant Thornton to conduct investigation of the affairs of the company in respect of transactions qualified under sections 43 to 51, and sections 65 and 66 of the Code. Accordingly, the Administrator of the Company received an initial report from the professional agency appointed as the transaction auditor, indicating that there are certain transactions which are undervalued, fraudulent and preferential in nature, falling under the aforesaid sections of the Code, as per a filing. On basis of the investigation and observations of the transaction auditor, the Administrator has filed an application before the Mumbai bench of the <keyword id="6354457" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="National-Company-Law-Tribunal">National Company Law Tribunal</keyword> (NCLT) under Section 45, Section 60(5) and Section 66 of the Code on February 20, 2021 in respect of disbursement made to certain entities as other large project loans (OLPL), against Kapil Wadhawan, <keyword id="2992416" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Dheeraj-Wadhawan">Dheeraj Wadhawan</keyword>, Creatoz Builders Pvt Ltd, Ikshudip Fincap Pvt Ltd, Rite Developers Pvt Ltd and certain other entities. It is to be noted that further filings may be undertaken, in due course. The nature of fraud is in relation to irregularities in disbursement of OLPL loans by the company in the past. As per the transaction auditor report shared with the Administrator, the monetary impact of the above transactions covered under the application amounts to ₹5,381.90 crore towards outstanding principal, ₹589.36 crore towards accrued interest and ₹210.85 crore towards notional loss of interest on account of charging lower rate of interest. Thus, the total impact of such transactions, as detailed in the transaction auditor's report, has been sought from the relevant entities involved, along with the interest for the relevant period, through the said application filed with NCLT. As per the report prepared by the transaction auditor, the concerned transactions occurred over a period of time, detailed in the report. Based on the report, the application has been filed with NCLT, Mumbai against 33 respondents, including Kapil Wadhawan, Dheeraj Wadhawan, Creatoz Builders Pvt Ltd, Ikshudip Fincap Pvt Ltd, Rite Developers Pvt Ltd and certain other entities. The preliminary estimation included in the application places the monetary impact of the concerned transactions at approximately ₹6,182.11 crore (which includes ₹210.85 crore towards notional loss of interest on account of charging lower rate of interest). All relevant details regarding these proceedings have been included in the application filed before the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai and is presently pending consideration. For example, adding a layer of augmented reality and analytics ⁠to these allow it to offer remote assistance. “The common framework also makes us agile. A new product that we start to work on can immediately use our existing micro-services (such as single sign-on) instead of having to reinvent the wheel,” Singh said, adding that Zoho’s leadership has been with the company for over a decade. The company now has over 50 apps across every major business category — sales, marketing, customer support, accounting and more. The company claims to have 70 million users across 500,000 companies. Singh also mentioned that Zoho’s artificial intelligence (AI) technology such as natural language processing (NPL) gets adopted across products across these different brands of Zoho. Zoho’s latest offering is an attempt to take on <keyword id="1017386" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="coursera" source="Orion">Coursera</keyword> and <keyword id="2240844" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="udemy" source="Orion">Udemy</keyword> Zoho entered the online learning space with the launch of its latest business vertical TrainerCentral last week. It offers digital platforms to allow individual teachers, solopreneurs and experts in a particular field to offer training online. TrainerCentral — which will be a sister to Zoho’s other brands ManageEngine, Zoho and Qntrl — offers tools like website builder, business administration console, dedicated learner portal, payments gateway, online conferencing and analytics for the trainers. Aarthi Elizabeth, chief brand evangelist of TrainerCentral at Zoho, told Business Insider that Trainer Central is seen as a rival to “Coursera and Udemy” — which enables individuals and universities to offer their courses online. Coursera and Udemy have an entire catalogue of courses being offered online. Meanwhile, Zoho’s TrainerCentral offers a link to trainers who would like to hold live online sessions or classes with their students or customers. Zoho does not have any content ownership, nor any control on the courses being offered to the customers. They are offering this same community a more advanced platform to grow their businesses and to learn better,” investment firm Blacksoil’s founder and chief executive Ankur Bansal told Business Insider.
